This is part 2 to the last one. Enjoy!

(Also, in this story, I don't want to give this away too much, but there is something about Ash that Alain will find out that I feel I use in too many stories, so sorry for always using the same idea, you'll get it when you read)

Ash awoke to Alain lying under him, planting a kiss on his head.

"Morning, Ash", Alain muttered sweetly as he held Ash up and kissed him again on the lips.

"Ohioguzaimasuuu...", Ash mumbled, lying back onto Alain's chest, pulling the blanket over himself.

"Still sleepy, huh? You always forget to speak English when you're sleepy"

"Ie, ie-no, no, I'm fully awake..."

Sleepily, Ash climbed out of bed, his kimono sliding after him. Alain sat up to sit behind him, wrapping his arms around Ash's waist. He slowly made his way to the clasp and started unfastening it.

"Are you wearing anything underneath it?"

"Either way, does it matter?"

Alain chuckled as he fully undid the clasp, peeling Ash's kimono off of his shoulders. Indeed, he wasn't wearing anything underneath. Grinning, he slowly put it back on. Ash really, really trusted him.

He made his way to the bathroom, Alain trailing behind him. Before he could close the door, he stopped it with his hand.

"Can I not come in with you?"

"Yeah...when I'm not a minor"

Ash beamed playfully as he closed the door in Alain's face, who huffed and went back to the bed.

Inside, Ash scoffed as he held the feathers in between his fingers.

"They're so dirty...", he complained to himself as he hopped into the shower.

----------------------------------------

Ash opened the door to find Alain waiting for him to the side. He giggled with admiration before the floor seemed to sway under his feet. Alain caught him in time, and sat him back down. For some reason, he was panting. Alain put his hand on his neck.

"You're burning up! I think you're sick"

Alain carried him to the bed and lay down with him, wrapping his arms around him.

"I'll be fine. It's just a mild fever", Ash tried to reassure him as Alain checked him with the tympanic thermometer.

"45 DEGREES CELSIUS?!", Alain screamed.

That's 113 degrees Fahrenheit, for all you Americans out there.

Professor Sycamore burst in as soon as he heard Alain screaming. He immediately looked concerned as he saw Ash. Running over to them, he too put a hand on Ash's neck, immediately drawing it back.

"What's his temperature?"

"45 degrees Celsius"

"What?! That's fatal!"

"Ash, I'm taking you to the hospital"

He started to lift the small boy up, when he felt something tug on his jacket. Looking down, Ash was barely breathing, but shaking his head.

"No...I don't wanna go to the hospital", he uttered, his voice cracking, breathing heavily in between each word.

Alain gently put him back down and caressed his cheek, looking into his eyes.

"But, Ash...you need to, you're really sick"

Ash fell forwards, laying his head on Alain's chest, wrapping his arms around the man.

"I'll just stay here...I won't move, and you can stay with me. It'll go down on it's own"

Alain looked to Sycamore, gesturing for advice. The Professor sat down and took Ash's wrist, pressing his thumb into the center to check his pulse while he thought for a moment.

"If he keeps cool and doesn't move, then I guess it should be okay for him to stay here. Keep track of his pulse. If he stops breathing, call an ambulance"

Alain nodded as he slowly placed him down onto the bed. Sycamore left the two of them alone. Ash nuzzled up near his chest, taking hold of his arm.

"Aran-kunnnnn..."

Alain silently hugged his back, keeping one finger on his wrist.

"Go to sleep, Ash"

----------------------------------------

Ash's eyes fluttered open. He felt someone's body surrounding him. Looking up, Alain was fast asleep, snoring loudly, lying his chin on his head. He snickered softly, slowly detaching his own body from Alain's. He looked down at him and smiled, bending down and fondling his hair as he planted a light kiss on his cheek.

He made it to the garden, undoing his kimono and tossing it onto the moonlit grass. After dipping a foot into the large, deep, cold and clear pond, Ash took a breath and closed his eyes as he crawled headfirst into the water.

----------------------------------------

Alain ran through the halls and down the stairs after waking up, finding that Ash wasn't with him, only to see him in the kitchen, wearing a white hanfu.

He darted up to the boy, desperately forcing their lips together, carrying him above his shoulders. Ash enveloped his waist with his legs as they separated, greeting him with a warm smile.

"Huh. You got better so quickly"

"All thanks to you"

Alain playfully rammed him into the wall, still carrying him, and kissed him once again. They were lost in each other's embrace, laughing every now and then. Eventually, they scrambled onto the floor, still in the same position.

From the point of view of a person watching this, it would look so much different to what it was.

Fortunately, when Sycamore arrived in the kitchen, Ash was swift enough to get out from under Alain and say good morning to him.

"You're better already?"

"Yup! Alain must've taken great care of me"

Sycamore put a hand on his hip, eyeing the younger one suspiciously.

"Along with the cold water from the pond?"

Alain and Ash's eyes widened. Horrified, Ash stared at Sycamore, while Alain stared at Ash.

"It was pretty dark, but I could still make out your wings"

"W-Wings?", Alain stammered as Sycamore walked over to Ash and pretended to almost throw his plate at him.

Ash backtracked, holding his hand out as two large, white wings bigger than his entire body sprouted out from his back in a burst of sparkling dust. Long, thin hair emerged from the back of his head, so long it was going past his feet and lying across the floor. An orb emitted from his hands, throwing itself onto and shattering the plate in Sycamore's hands.

"Good reflexes", Sycamore praised as he got closer, "And now you're gonna tell us what you are, Ash..."

Ash shifted his gaze to Alain. He looked hurt, confused.

"I-I..."

Ash's phone vibrated. He picked it up, the two others waiting in anticipation. Sighing, Ash put the phone on speaker.

"Hello?"

"Ash...I think it's time I tell you the truth. About your dad"

Ash went pale. The other two also began to panic.

"W-What?"

"It's time you know. I should probably start off by saying...he isn't human"

----------------------------------------

After Ash collapsed and the other two got him to his room, persuading him to explain how he was born with elemental powers and had to hide it all, which took a while, they got back to Ash's mom.

"What do you mean he isn't human?"

"Well...you know how there's a legend where Arceus was desperate for an heir, so he forced a beautiful woman to have a baby with him?"

"Yeah...and?"

"Ash..."

It took a brief second before everything in Ash's mind fell apart.

"No way. No, no way, mom"

"Yes, Ash. I'm sorry I lied to you. Arceus is your father. You're immortal. You're a powerful god, who's...who's destined to rule the world one day..."

"Mom, this isn't funny! Stop it! No!"

Sycamore put a hand on his chin.

"That would explain how that high temperature didn't kill you", the Professor added before Ash turned back to the phone.

"Liar! You're lying!"

He was screaming now. Alain's heart broke as he watched him fall apart. He couldn't bare to see him in so much pain, although he didn't understand where the pain was coming from.

"I'm sorry, Ash...it's true. The reason I left Tokyo was because people were starting to find out. I wanted to protect you"

Ash cried out in frustration, hurling his phone at the wall, destroying it and creating a huge explosion. His voice echoed throughout the wind. It sounded like all the agony and fear of the world in one voice.

Alain and the Professor backed away as Ash's entire eye went black. A dark aura enveloped his body; even his wings turned black. His body levitated as his head hung, his arms spread out wide.

----------------------------------------

Soon the entire lab was engulfed in flames. Apart from the garden, which was covered with some sort of protective dome.

Alain and Sycamore stood outside, keeping their distance from the roaring fire.

"I have to go to Ash!", Alain yelled as he sprinted into the fire.

The Professor started to stop him, before they both saw that the flames weren't burning him. He could walk through them.

"Ash is still protecting you. Just like he's protecting the garden. You can still get to him! Go!"

Alain made his way throughout the lab as any circumstance of injury refused to harm him. He got to Ash's room, where was sitting on the floor, everything around him broken, curled up into a ball with his wings acting as a cocoon.

"Ash, let's talk!", Alain yelled.

A swinging tentacle came his way, making him brace for pain, but somehow it didn't even touch him. He looked back at Ash.

"Ash, I know you don't want to hurt me. I know you don't want to hurt anyone. But please just listen to me!"

As Alain got closer, the noise and deadly obstacles began to die down. Once he was less than a meter away from him, Ash suddenly threw himself onto him. The whole world went silent. All that could be heard was Ash's sobbing.

"I-It hurts...", he screamed as he clung tighter to Alain.

"Tell me, what hurts?", Alain asked tenderly, clinging onto Ash himself.

"My heart"

Alain let him cry into his shoulder as everything shattered. The fires evaporated, what had been torn apart sowed itself back together.

"It hurts so much. I can't take it. I need you"

Sycamore arrived into the room, staying silent at the doorway.

"Why are you so upset, then? You already have me"

"I know. I thought we would die together. But I'm immortal. You're gonna die without me. You're gonna leave me!"

Now he understood where the pain was coming from. Of course. Since they'd admitted their feelings for one another, Ash had been entwined to him like crazy. And it was understandable, considering the circumstances. He'd always wanted and expected for them to be together until the end. But now, it was certain only one of them was getting an end.

"Ash...you'll always have me. Even when I'm dead, I won't be gone. You'll still be able to feel me. To hear me. I promise. I know you need me, but you don't need me alive"

Ash continued to cling onto him, burying his head in his chest.

"But how do you know that?"

Alain pulled away from him, put a hand on his chin and smiled.

"Because you're strong. You're the strongest person I know. You've been strong without me for so long, until we met. I know you'll be able to do it, when I die, and you're ready to lead the world"

The tears streaming down Ash's face dried away as Alain cupped his hand in his.

"I don't need a beating heart to be with you, Ash..."

Ash froze, with the exception of his heavy breathing and eyes closing. Alain placed a hand behind his head and lay him down, sweetly kissing him on the lips. Ash's body relaxed as he wrapped his arms around him, smiling, drifting off to sleep. His wings and body shifted from black to white. The dark aura evaporated into an array of light. Alain tightened his grip on Ash, a few tears streaming down his own cheeks.

Sycamore raced over to the pair, having not heard a single word between them.

"Are you both okay?"

Alain continued to cuddle Ash closer to him, taking a long, deep breath.

"Always. As long as I have Ash, I'm always okay"

Thanks for reading!

I feel I should apologize as I tend to overuse the immortal-Ash-with-wings-and-elemental-powers idea. I just really love it!

Edit: I forgot to put this in when I first wrote this oneshot, but in this story Ash's hair is very very long, like three meters, the same long hair in Pokemon GF.
