Joy is part of living

Found though love and giving

I try to do my part

Spread joy from heart to heart

Just offer up my hand

And help a heart expand

Let in a little hope

By helping someone cope

Take a break and listen

Someone's eyes may glisten

For now, they have been heard

Solutions may be stirred

Joy bundled in a smile

Can lighten any trial

Engage someone in play

Help clear a cloudy day

Found in a girl or boy

Tiny bundles of joy

In a baby's giggle

Or dancing tyke's wiggle

Share slice of yummy pie

Point out a butterfly

Watch puppy's wagging rump

Or kitten's clumsy jump

The first step is to start

By opening my heart

Let love and giving flow

And joy will always glow
