Daisuke (POV)
It's day one of boot camp and the commandante is asking for our names.
Keith- Hey mop top, what do they call you maggot?!
Armin- Sir, Armin Arlert from the Shiganshina District!
Keith- Wow seriously? Why would your parents curse with such a horrible name?
Armin- Sir, it was my grandfather's sir.
Keith- Cadet Arlen, why does a runt like you here?!
Armin- To help humanity overcome the titans!
Keith- That is delightful to hear. You'll be a great light snack for em.
He goes person by person running them down and playing the intimidation card. He passes by some and from the look on some faces, they've gone what I've gone through. I see it in their eyes.
The day went on and by sunset, Eren Armin, Connie, and a few others watched as Sasha ran until the sunset because she ate a potato in front of Keith's face.
Sasha

Connie

Connie- Man, I thought Keith was gonna kill potato girl.
Eren- I know. A hell of a first day.
Daisuke- And yet, she didn't seem bothered at all when she was ordered to run until the sun set. Yet losing meal privileges for the next five days seemed to make her really bothered.
Connie- I think she said she was from Doper. If I'm correct, that's a small hunting village up in the mountains.
Eren- And I notice a horse drawn wagon leaving this place.
Eren- Whats that?
Daisuke- Dropouts. They chose to work out in the fields.
Armin- But it's only the first day.
Daisuke- That's just the way it is.
Zack: Things will never be the same!!!!
Indigo: Damn it Zack. Go listen to Tupac somewhere else.
Daisuke- If you cant handle the pressure, you gotta leave.
Eren- I cant believe someone would rather pull plants than fight.
Timeskip to dinner time.
So word got out that Eren, Mikasa, and Hikaru were from Shiganshina and now people won't leave us alone about the colossal titan. Right now, Eren and I were just trying to eat our dinner in peace when the usual swarm of recruits came asking the same question.
Eren- Yes, we saw the big guy. He stuck his head over the outer wall. He was big wasn't that big enough to step over the wall completely.
Recruit- So what did it look like.
Daisuke- It had the mouth of a corpse and all muscle. No skin.
Recruit- What about the Armored Titan? The one who broke through wall Maria.
Daisuke- Oh that guy. Just another titan to slaughter.
Eren- The titans really aren't that big a deal. If we master the Omnidirectional Mobility Gear they give us, then it's titan payback time. I've waited years to be trained as a soldier. All of a sudden the reality is sinking in. I'm joining the Scout Regime and then I'm sending all the titans back to hell. I'm gonna butcher them all.
Daisuke- Not if I do it first old buddy.
???- Hey are you two crazy or something?
This recruit by the the name of Jean is the one who opened his mouth.
Jean

Jean- Not that's any of business but signing up for reconnaissance is a death sentence.
Daisuke- Well I guess we'll see. More like we will.
Eren- You seem content in hiding in the interior with the MP's.
Jean- Look, I'm just speaking honesty here kid. I think it's better than being some loud mouth tough guy wannabe who's just as puss scared as the rest of us.
Both Eren and I rise to our feet and eye this fool down.
Daisuke- Keep flapping your gums and see what happens.
Jean- Makes no difference to me.
He gets up in our faces but we don't back down. Just as we were about to jump his bitch ass, the bell tolls outside signifying that it was time to go back to our cabins.
Jean- (Sigh) Look I apologize for calling you guys names and dismissing your choice in careers.
He sticks out his hand for a handshake.
Jean- Put it there guys. What do you say?
Eren-.....Right. Yeah I'm sorry as well.
Daisuke- That goes for me too.
Eren slaps his hand away and I follow him out of the mess hall with Hikaru and Mikasa in tow who for some reason is always close to me wherever I go.
