(I'm warning you three chapters in advance. Things get bad...)

"My bunker!? You brought me to my bunker!?" Branch yelled, as he and Poppy stood down in his bunker.

"It's the safest place I know," Poppy shrugged.
"It's also the first place Barb will look!" Branch screamed, throwing his arms up in the air. "Oh god..." he muttered, clutching his hair tightly in his hands, as he began to pace anxiously. "I'm dead. I'm so dead..."

Poppy grabbed his shoulders, looking deeply into his eyes, as she tried to calm him down, but he just pulled away, beginning to pace again, as he muttered quietly to himself, his heart racing in terror.

"Why did I pull that prank?" he muttered to himself. "Why, why, why!?"

"You'll be fine, Branch," Poppy said calmly. "I'll come back to check on you later."

Branch's eyes widened, as he stopped pacing, turning to face Poppy.

"You... you're gonna leave me alone!?" he yelled, staring at her in disbelief.

"Calm down, Branch," Poppy said calmly. "She can't get in here. Your bunker is impenetrable remember?"

"Poppy!" he yelled panicking, as he grabbed onto her shoulders tightly, looking straight into her eyes. "My bunker is Bergen proof. Not crazy rocker girl proof!"

She pulled away from his grasp, remaining calm.

"If it can keep out Bergens, it can keep out Barb," she assured.
"Poppy... have you met Barb!?" Branch yelled, grabbing onto her shoulders again.

Poppy rolled her eyes, leaning forwards to hug him, kissing  his cheek gently.

"I'll see you later," she promised.

He took a deep, calming breath, slowly nodding his head.

"Yeah... you will see me..." he said calmly, nodding slowly. "Dead on the floor, cuz Barb killed me!" he yelled, grabbing onto Poppy's shoulders once again.

Poppy chuckled, pulling away from him again, thinking Branch was just being paranoid as usual.

"You'll be fine, Branch. She can't get in here."
"B... but Poppy..."

She walked to the elevator, pulling the little lever, so that it would bring her up.

"N... no! Poppy!" Branch yelled, reaching out for her, even though he knew she was already far out of his reach. "Don't leave me a..."

The hatch slammed shut, as she exited the bunker, Branch's ears drooping in fear.

"lone..."
