She began to walk towards Karan forgetting about the marbles. Arjun sat up and somehow stood up, she stepped on the marbles and shrieked getting scared of falling. "Preeta!" Arjun exclaimed worriedly and extended his arms towards her. Just as she was about to fall, he held her, she fell in his arms with his eyes shut with fear. He looked at her worriedly. "Preeta? It's okay, you're safe, the baby is safe," he said and she opened her eyes and heaved a sigh of relief, he straightened her. She hugged him tight, he hugged her back, after sometime they broke the hug. "Arjun , I told you he would take me away, see, it happened," she said pointing at Karan cryingly.

"But now I have come," he assured her. She looked at him and smiled tearfully, he smiled back, she looked at Karan with anger aiming daggers at him through her eyes. She shared cold looks with Karan and stood behind Arjun . "Don't worry Preeta, no need to be nervous, he can't do anything now," he said and Preeta smiled feeling enlightened. Arjun clenched his fists tightly in anger, Karan did the same. They both looked at each other with burning rage and rushed to each other forgetting about the marbles once again and Karan fell flat on his face getting a little hurt.

Arjun was about to fall but got saved as his shoulder collided in the wall and he survived the fall. "Arjun , you okay?" Preeta asked, he looked at her and nodded. She closed her eyes thanking God. He looked at Karan and held his wrist and made him stand angrily and threw him over the bed. He started to punch Karan brutally while Preeta looked on recalling all the moments where she suffered greatly because of him. She was boiling in anger seeing him but she touched her tummy and calmed down for the sake of her baby. She walked to Arjun and pulled him away as now he had beated Karan enough, blood was oozing out of his face.

"Leave me Preeta, why the hell are you saving him?" he asked and she glanced at Karan. "Its enough, he already got his karma, his children are no more on his side, he killed his wife. Now when no one would be there to aid his wounds, then he would know the price of loved ones and the price of losing them. Many doctors and nurses are there in the world to aid his wounds, but none of them can give him the love which only his children and his wife could give him, let's go Arjun ," she said.

"But we will have to call the police to get him arrested," he said. "Sure thing Arjun ," she said and he took out his phone and dialed the number. Karan stood up and snatched his phone. The duo gasped as he placed it on the floor and crushed it under his feet. Arjun got more angry and barged towards him and was about to punch him, Karan held his fist and threw him away, he fell flat on the floor getting hurt by the marbles. "Arjun !" Preeta screamed, Karan fled from there. She sat down and made him sit up. Both had panicked expressions on their faces. "He escaped, I couldn't run behind him, I was worried for you," she said. "Its okay, you can't run anyways, you're pregnant, we'll find him, let's go," he said and and stood up. He helped her up and they walked out of there.

Alia slept with her head in Mauli's lap. Mauli was continuously crying for her, for Alia's bitter fate. First her brother disappeared, now her mother who was her best friend, died, and now her dad is being so mysterious and shady, no one can make it out that what he actually wants. The little girl was suffering so much and she wanted to help her but didn't know what to do. Sagar who was sitting by her side, placed his hand on her shoulder, she looked at him and placed her head on his shoulder. "Mauli, if you only lose courage, then who would look after Alia? Remember you were always a second mothet for her, you have to support her at this tough time," he said in a whisper.

She lifted her head. "Sagar, what if Karan takes her away from here as well?" she asked. "Don't worry, nothing such would happen. I have an idea, we can leave her with Nalini and Pragati. Karan doesn't knows that place, he won't be able to take her from there," he said and she nodded. "Good idea," she said and wiped her tears. "And also give those handkerchieves for a test in laboratory and give them the previous report of the one handkerchief you found from Karan's coat, they can tell if all the blood belongs to one person or not," Sagar said, she nodded.

"Yes, and I should also try getting Karan's DNA, they would match the blood with his DNA to know if its Dev's blood or not," she said and placed Alia's head properly on the pillow and the duo walked out of there. They sat on the dining table. Sagar cupped her cheeks. "If you say, we can marry soon and adopt her as our own daughter," Sagar said. "I don't know why but I think somewhere Ishwari is alive and she would return to save her children, Alia from this trauma and Dev from Karan," Mauli said.
