(A/N Notes: 10/10 title, totally not joking about oathing shipgirls)

The commander was making a serious face as he made a thinking pose, he was coming up with the greatest strategy that only he could ever think of, he looked at the positions of his forces, and so he finally made his decision

The commander went back to thinking about another strategy that only he could think of, even more seriously than before, and once again he finally made his decision

And he went back to thinking, this time he kept alternating his vision from the table to something hidden under it

"Give me a sec"

"Sure"

The commander revealed what was under the table... His phone, as he watched a video about chess moves

"... ... ... This piece to here... ... ... Alright, that's my move. Now your turn!"

Amagi simply smiled as she swiftly made her move

"Checkmate, commander"

"Huh?"

Amagi had checkmated commander with that swift move

"... Well, shit"

"That was a good match, thank you for keeping me company *cough* *cough*..."

Having finished their chess match, and also having spent long enough time hidden to escape from his usual duties, the Commander made his way back to his office, as he made sure that he wasn't being followed

Some minutes later, he was back in his office, and the first thing he did was check one of his desk drawers

"Whew, it's still here"

Inside his drawer was an oath ring box, that he had bought some time ago due to Akashi's surprise 1% off sale. And he still hadn't used it, because he didn't know on which shipgirl he should oath first

"... I hope neither Akagi nor Taihou finds out about this"

" "Find about what, Shikikan-sama?" "

Hearing that exact line that could only come from the two, maybe three if I had Junyou, but I don't have her, so it's these two, classic Yanderes of his fleet. The commander started to sweat heavily as he turned pale while his eyes appeared that they were almost popping out of their eye sockets

"Akagi, Taihou, didn't I ask you two to always knock before entering?"

The commander simply lowered himself to get the oath ring box from the drawer

The three stayed in silence at their Mexican standoff as a serious atmosphere filled the office

*Zooms into the Commander's eyes*

*Zooms into Taihou's eyes*

Now imagine those close in zooms cycling between the three... You did it? Good, now we can continue

The Mexican standoff continued at a standstill until the commander made his move...

*CRASH*

He jumped out of the window, of course

With Akagi and Taihou also jumping out of the window as well. But this time, the commander wasn't going to jump outside, no... He was going to do Parkour!

"Hup!"

The commander grabbed the windowsill in the nick of time, changing his direction, and making him crash back into the building, as he broke yet another window as crashed inside the room directly below his office

"Uwah!"

But one of his feet got caught in the windowsill making him do a bad landing which caused him to drop the oath ring box in the middle of the room

"Ugh... Huh?"

When the commander looked around he saw that he had crashed right in the Sakura Empire's changing room, which some of the faction shipgirls were inside having come back from their commission

"..."

"..."

He looked at both sides before looking at the oath ring box, while the shipgirls who had surprised faces as they looked at the commander, followed his gaze to the oath ring box

"... Ladies..."

The commander got up, cleaned, and fixed his clothes, while keeping a serious look, he walked forward, picked up the oath ring box, and then continued towards the exit, where he opened the door

"Sorry for the commotion, arrivederci"

The commander made a very serious Jojo face as he made a two-finger salute, and then he closed the door, and then the sounds of him running away and of Akagi shouting "Shikikan-sama!" could be heard. The girls inside the changing room kept looking at the door for a few seconds before they looked at each other and nodded to each other

They were also going after the oath ring

The commander was running at full speed with Akagi closely behind him

*Looks behind him*

"SHIKIKAN-SAMA!!!"

The commander regretted looking behind him because Akagi was making a very terrifying smiling face as she chased after him

"Shi-ki-kan-sa-ma~"

Then to make his situation worse, Taihou had positioned herself right on his path, and this time he didn't have windows to escape to the outside. With Akagi right behind him and Taihou right in front of him, he only had one choice

"I can't stop, and I can't keep running, so my only choice is to..."

The commander jumped to his left, he kicked the wall pushing him to the right, he kicked the wall again pushing him to the left once again as he bypassed Taihou's blockaded from overhead, and then he kicked the wall on the left again, which brought him back safely to the ground

"PARKOUR!" *Goes back to running away*

The commander once again looked behind him

And he once again regretted looking behind, because now Akagi and Taihou were making very terrifying smiling faces as they chased after him. But then a shadow jumped over both of them and fast approached him

"Commander!"

"Oh hello, Shimakaze. You are after the Oath ring as well, ain'tcha?"

"Yeah!"

"I see"

The commander sped up, even more, outrunning even Shimakaze that was the fastest of the Sakura Empire

"Wha!?"

"Shitshitshitshit...!"

"Commander! Hand the ring or fight me like a true warrior!"

"Kii..."

This time it was Kii, blocking his path, and different from Taihou he wouldn't be able to jump over her to continue running away

"Very well, here I come! ORAAAAAA!!!"

"ORAAAAAAA!!!"

They both screamed their war cries, and then...

"Hup!" *grabs the corner and changes his direction*

"! HEY! Come back here and fight me like a warrior!"

The commander simply went in another direction since Kii was blocking him after an intersection of corridors, but by now, using his memory of the corridors, he was now on a straight path to the main entrance hall of the building, but there was one more challenger ahead of him

"And what if I don't?"

"I'll have to use force to stop you"

"Very well... Then let's see how much force you have!"

Kaga launched her blue talismans that turned into warplanes, but the commander still had some tricks up to his sleeve... Literally

He launched something to counter Kaga's planes, making them explode, thus creating a thick wall of black smoke which gave him the cover necessary to bypass Kaga

"*Cough* *Cough* How!? Huh?"

Kaga noticed that poker cards were laying on the floor, with a trail of more cards on the path that the commander had passed. Yes, the commander countered Kaga planes with normal poker cards

The commander arrived at the main entrance hall, but the area was filled with many of the Sakura Empire shipgirls, and he knew that they were all after the Oath ring, he stopped running as he stood in the very middle of the hall

Then the shipgirls who were chasing after him, appeared one after the other, closing the blockade around him, he didn't have a way out

"Well, well, well... It looks like I'm surrounded, with no means of escaping and no hopes of fighting back... You all want this right?"

The commander held the oath ring box high in the air, making sure all the shipgirls there could see it

"... Then... Go get it!"

The commander threw the oath ring box away from him, making all the shipgirls move, as they try to get it first, undoing the blockade around him

"Get away from Taihou's ring!"

"No! This my oath ring!"

"It's mine!"

The shipgirls ran and bickered for the possession of the ring, and then the winner was revealed to be... Akagi

"Ehehehehe... Ahahahahahahaha!!! Akagi is finally going to become one with shikikan-sama... Huh?"

When she opened the oath ring box, she saw that it was empty

"Looking for this?"

The commander revealed that the ring was with him all this time, the shipgirls seeing that tried to once again reach the ring first, but this time they would have to go against the commander, and the commander still had a trick up his sleeve

"... TAIMU STOPPU!!!"

Time stop SFX

*Piano sounds start playing*

Paaaaanpaaaaaanpanpanpanpaaaanpaaaaaaaaan

The shipgirls all stopped moving, frozen in time, the commander once again fixed his clothes, and his imaginary tie, with a serious face

"... It looks like my job here is done"

The commander turned and walked towards the main entrance door, and when he was about to open

BAM

Someone else opened the door as time started to flow back, making the commander throw the ring up

"Ha!Ha!Ha! Good day, my friends! Ah! Commander, what's wrong?" *Slips in her ring finger* "?"

The Oath ring neatly and perfectly landed on Mikasa's left ring finger, signifying that she was oathed

"... I guess, it's really true that whenever you appear a punchline happens"

"?"

" "Damnit!!!" "

Akagi and Taihou were on their four as they cried from losing the oath to Mikasa
