Kirika Kurenai didn't understand how she had gotten into this situation. A few hours ago, she was at school when she suddenly got a text message from an unknown number. It said, Meet me outside. Now.

Kirika was puzzled, but she asked her teacher for a bathroom pass. She felt bad for getting a bathroom pass when she didn't actually plan to use the bathroom, but hopefully whoever it was wouldn't take long.

Kirika went outside her classroom and looked around. "Hello?" she asked.

No answer. She walked a little, wondering what was going on.

Suddenly, a hand went over her mouth and she felt someone grabbing her. Before she knew it, she was tossed into a van.

Kirika struggled and screamed, though the hand over her mouth prevented much noise from coming out.

"Stop squirming, you brat!" said a voice.

"Let me out! Let me out!" yelled Kirika.

In a flash, the person holding her grabbed a syringe and injected something in her. Kirika screamed, but it only lasted a few seconds.

When Kirika woke up, she found herself tied to a chair. She tried to move, but her binds were tight.

"I wouldn't try if I were you," came a voice. Kirika saw a middle aged man looking at her. He had brown and white hair and blue eyes. "Who are you?" she asked.

"Have you not heard of me? I'm Theodore Glass."

Kirika gasped. "I thought... I thought... That you're in prison."

"Oh, you were right. I was in prison for a while."

"What do you want with me?" asked Kirika.

"Well, this is for revenge," said Theodore. "What will your big brother say when he finds that his precious little sister has been kidnapped by the same person who made him do bad things."

Kirika screamed again. "Let me go! I want to go home!"

Theodore smirked at her. "You certainly aren't like your brother at all."

"Shu will find me!"

"Maybe that's what I'm planning," said Theodore.

Kirika was eventually untied, though she was still locked in an empty room. Meals were pushed under the door three times a day. Kirika was unable to sleep due to fear. She had no idea how long it has been since she was kidnapped.

Theodore suddenly sprang a surprise on her. "Your brother is on the phone. Talk to him."

Kirika wasn't sure if it was a trick or not, but she talked on the phone.

"Shu?"

"Kirika! Did that awful man hurt you?"

"No," said Kirika. "I was tied up for a short while, but I'm not hurt. Please help me."

"I'm going to find you," said Shu. "Soon you will be safe at home."

"I don't know where I am," said Kirika. She was crying now. "Please find me soon. I... I want to go home."

"I'm coming," said Shu. "Don't cry sis."

The phone was taken from Kirika. Theodore said, "If you want to see your sister again, don't tell the cops."

Kirika was locked in her room again. She lay on the ground, sobbing. She felt terrified and helpless. But she didn't know what to do. She couldn't wish for a fairy godmother, pick the lock, or sneak out of a window. For the first time since she was kidnapped, Kirika drifted into a restless slumber.

Kirika woke up feeling weak and shivery. She tried to open her eyes, but something seemed to be forcing her eyes to stay shut. She heard the doorknob rattling.

"Kirika?" came a familiar voice. "Are you there?"

Kirika couldn't answer. Her whole body felt strange. Suddenly, she heard the door open.

"Kirika!" came two voices. She was drifting in and out of consciousness. She could feel someone carrying her.

"She's burning up," came a voice.

"I'll call an ambulance," said another voice.

Kirika tried to force herself to stay awake, but she lost consciousness again as she felt herself being transferred to another person.

The next time Kirika woke up, she found out that she was at the hospital. She could open her eyes this time, but she still felt weak.

A nurse smiled at her. "How do you feel?" she asked.

"Tired," said Kirika. "What happened?"

"You had a high fever," said the nurse. "Your brother kept asking if you were alright."

"My brother?" asked Kirika.

Shu came inside the room. When he saw Kirika, he immediately hugged her. "Kirika, I was so scared. I received a call from your school saying that you had disappeared. Then I got a call from that horrible man and he said that he had you."

According to Shu, since it was too dangerous for him to call the cops, he had called his friends instead. They had helped to figure out where Kirika was being kept and rescued her.

"And don't worry about that man," said Shu. "He will not be able to touch you again."

Kirika hugged her brother, thankful that everything had worked out.
