In Malik House

Naina's POV

My luggage was in front of me and my parents were standing in front me. My mum was silently crying looking at me and my dad was checking my passport and ticket

Mamma: Please... t..t.ake care of yourself, promise me. She forwarded her hand and I kindly accepted it and kissed it.

Naina: I promise I will take care of myself. I hugged her, she hugged me tightly, this hug was showering her love for me as her daughter and how much she cares for me. I broke the hug and went to my dad, who was standing at the main entrance of the house.

Dad: Beta take care of yourself. Focus on your studies and call us whenever you have time. Don't misbehave and...

Naina cut him off

Naina: Dad, dad I know I am 18 not 5. And I am going aren't you going to give me a hug?

My dad hugged me firmly. I started crying, my dad patted my back to calm me down. I broke the hug and went towards the car and sat down. I waved my mamma and dad bye and the driver started driving the car. I felt my eyes getting heavy, so I drifted off to sleep.

No one's POV

After an hour, Naina reached airport and she departed her way to the aeroplane. She sat down on her seat and started watching movies, but she was really missing her parents.

Naina's POV (the lines that are not straight that are the characters thoughts in their mind)

I am really missing mamma and dad. How will I live alone? I am travelling alone that's okay but I can't live alone. The nightmares may haunt me again and again. But I need to be strong and confident for my parents and myself. I shouldn't have done that. I am such a dumb head. I, being a 18 years old still can't understand my right and wrongs. It was all my fault. My life is miserable. If my parents didn't stop me that day I would've.... anyways leave that. I should be thinking about how will me college be and how will I make friends. I have no friends and I don't know how to make friends.

I didn't know time flies by and I arrived to Mumbai. Heard a lot about Mumbai from my parents. The country of dreams and a beautiful place to visit. Well I arrived. I stepped out of the airport and had a good view and looked around to see Mumbai
