I watched him, red hair splayed on the pillows. “What sounds good to do today?” I asked, his fingers entwining with my own.

“I just want to cuddle.” Almost like a reflex, my brain cued my mouth to spit something out.

“We could do more than cuddle. If you want.” His eyes lit up as he looked over at me.

“What? You mean like kissing?” I smiled, exhaling deeply.

“Sure. Like kissing.” He smiled, moving closer to curl against my chest.

“Sounds good.” My God, he's adorable.
