Dazai was excited to finally have Odasaku back in his life, and to know that he was well and okay. And working close to him was even better. Dazai finally had his best friend back. Dazai was currently kicking his feet back and forth as he had finished his paper work, and he sighed boredly.

"Odasaku!"

"Yes Dazai?" Oda said without even looking up as he was typing up a report.

"Can we go to the arcade after work? Like we used to."

"I can't today Dazai." Oda said, closing his laptop. "It's my son's birthday today, maybe we can go another day." He smiled.

Dazai's eyes widened. "You have a son?""

"I do. He's three years old today."

"He's really small then..."

"He is." Oda smiles. "He should be here soon with my daytime sitter Hana. You'll get to meet him." He smiles.

"PAPA!!"

"And there he is." Oda chuckled.

Chuuya ran into the office and he ran over to Oda, Oda picked him up and spun him around before kissing him. "Hey buddy. Have fun with Hana?"

"Yeah! We made cupcakes!"

Oda gasped. "You did?"

"Mm! We brought you some."

"I can't wait to try them." He smiles. "Thank you so much Hana for bringing him."

"Oh no problem." Hana smiled. "Anytime you need me to bring him I'm here."

Chuuya took the box of cupcakes from Hana and he gave her a hug. "Bye bye, Chuuya~"

"Bye Hana!" He waved excitedly. Chuuya opened the box and he started giving members of the agency cupcakes. He started with Oda first ofc. "Thanks buddy, Wow! They look beautiful." Oda commented. Chuuya then ran over to Ranpo and gave him the biggest cupcake. "Ranpo-san! For you!" Ranpo took it from Chuuya and he patted his head. "Thank you. I had quite the sweet tooth." Chuuya grabbed another one and handed them to Kunikida and Tanizaki. They thank the sweet child and start eating their cupcake. Chuuya then gave one to Naomi and Kenji. Chuuya saw somebody new. He wouldn't forget him, he wanted to make him smile too. Chuuya ran over to him and he held out the cupcake. "Here you go!" Chuuya smiled. Dazai looked over at Oda wondering if it was okay to even take it. Oda nodded. "Go ahead Dazai." He confirmed.

Dazai blushed as he hadn't experienced much kindness and affection. Only from Odasaku. Seemed his child had the same kind soul he did. "T-Thank you..." Dazai said, taking the cupcake. "I-It looks good..."

Dazai's eyes widened as he felt tiny arms around him. "Nice to meet you Dazai-san! I'm Chuuya! I hope we can be friends." Chuuya says honestly and excitedly.

Dazai smiled. "Me too..."

"Oh!" Chuuya said, grabbing the box. "Be back!"

Naomi giggled. "He sure is full of energy."

"Everyday until bedtime." Oda chuckles as he's eating the cupcake. "Now that he's left the room, I am going to step out really quick and head to the store to get his cake."

They nodded. "While you're gone I'll get the food all arranged." Naomi said happily.

"And I'll work on decorations with Tanizaki!" Kenji said excitedly.

"And me and Ranpo will go pick up the gifts from the warehouse."

"Okay, sounds good. I appreciate you guys helping me do this." Oda walks over to Dazai and kneels down. "Dazai could you just play with Chuuya for a bit while we get this arranged?"

Dazai nodded. "You can count on me."

Oda smiled. "Thanks buddy." Oda said, ruffling Dazai's hair. Dazai whined as he was being treated like a child.

"I'm not a child! I am a man!"

Oda chuckled. "Yes, yes. How could I forget?" Oda said before he left.

Chuuya was running down the hall and he opened a door he knew all too well. Chuuya walked up to the standing figure and he lightly tapped the woman's leg. She turned around. "Mrs. Akiko, I brought you a cupcake." She smiled happily and she kneeled down and nuzzled Chuuya. "Ah, Chuuya you're so sweet! Thank you!"

She waved goodbye as Chuuya still had two cupcakes to deliver. Chuuya saw Haruno in the hallway and he gave her one and she smiled and thanked him. Chuuya ran to the last office he knew well. "Mr.Fuku?" Chuuya runs over to him. "Cupcake. This one Hana helped me make a kitty in the frosting."

Fuku's eyes sparkled. He picked up Chuuya and hugged him. Chuuya giggled and then he put him down. "Thank you, this is special. I'll eat it later."

"Okay!"

Chuuya went back out of his office and he bumped into a tall figure but he was soon caught by his arm.

"Ah I'm sorry! I didn't mean to startle you. Are you okay?" Dazai asked the toddler.

Chuuya nods. "I'm sorry too! I wasn't looking."

Dazai takes the cupcake box from Chuuya and he smiles as he shows him a ball. "I was thinking maybe we could play catch in the hallway?"

Chuuya laughed. "Sure!"

Dazai and Chuuya started to play with the ball in the hallway while downstairs in the meeting room, the members of the agency were getting things prepared for Chuuya's birthday. All the decorations were up, Kunikida and Ranpo had all the presents on one table, Naomi got all the food on the table. Oda with the help of Kenji got the three layer strawberry cake with fruit inside of the room. Yosano had snuck down and she pushed in the bike she had bought for Chuuya. And lastly the best present, Oda tied a bow around the puppy's neck loosely and the puppy woofed lightly. "Shush, shush pup. We don't want to ruin the surprise." He chuckled.

"Thanks for picking up the puppy Hana."

"Of course. It was my pleasure." She smiled.

Oda went to the top of the stairs and yelled. "Dazai! Chuuya! Come on! Food is here!"

Both the boys responded. "Okay!" They ran down stairs and Chuuya when he opened the door to the conference room his eyes widened as confetti was all in his face, and he saw a big cake lit on the table.

"Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday dear Chuuya~! Happy Birthday to you!" Chuuya's eyes started to fill up with tears and he busted out crying.

"Eh?!?"

"Chuuya what's the matter?" Everyone came over worriedly. Chuuya shook his head and he smiled at everyone, with a face full of tears. "I'm happy...! Thank you...!"

Oda smiled and he picked Chuuya up. "Make a wish buddy." Chuuya thought for a moment and then he blew out his candles. Everyone clapped and said Yay.

"And we have a big present for you."

"For me?"

Oda nodded as he put Chuuya down and Hana brought over the puppy to Chuuya.

"I- Is it mine...?"

Oda nodded looking at Chuuya and he kneeled down holding him. "He's your dog. You can name him whatever you want."

And for the second time that day. Chuuya cried out of pure happiness.
