The next day, she woke up, got freshened up, and took her coffee when she heard the calling bell ring... Yamini Prakash as promised, sent the saree and jewelry... 

Krishna asked the man who brought them for a coffee or water, but he politely refused and went away... and she called Yamini to inform her that she received the jewelry and saree, Krishna detailed about the jewelry that she received, to make sure she returns everything of it... She took the picture of the jewelry too since it's about Gold, it's better to be careful... 

Yamini sent a green pattu saree with a contrast pink blouse with a simple gold neckpiece, earrings, and bangles... and Krishna draped the saree slowly, but since the saree is of tissue, it's getting so difficult to put steps, so she wore it putting a single step... she simply braided her hair and adorned them with Jasmine flowers, Swapnika bought the previous night despite her refusal... All in all, Krishna looked ethereal in the attire... 

She woke Swapnika too, and she got ready faster and applied some minimal makeup to Krishna...

"Wow... Krishna, you look so pretty, if Viraj sees you like this, all the thoughts of not touching you will fly out of the window... Woman, ask him to wait till your traditional wedding at least...", teased Swapnika...

"Shut up... and call that idiot... otherwise, we'll leave in my bike...", Krishna said...

"Krishna... please, not today, let's use Ashwin's father's car today, we can't go on your e-bike in these attires", Swapnika said and she agreed...

After half hour, Ashwin came in his father's car, and the girls got in and he drove off...

Viraj informed his friends after everything got finalized the previous day... They cursed him for not informing them prior but nonetheless, all three of them and their wives are more than happy as their husbands won't be sitting in Viraj's home and drinking all night every time they had any major encounters anymore...

Viraj wanted to wear normal pants and a shirt but on Yamini's and his friend's insistence, he wore a blazer looking very dapper... They wanted him to wear a pink blazer since Yamini knew it would match Krishna's blouse but Viraj just wouldn't agree, he said that's too bright for his taste...

Ashwin stopped outside the registrar's office, and both the girls got down... Krishna got sad and teary-eyed thinking about her grandfather... She called him once again, but he didn't take her call. She kept calling him since morning but he didn't accept her call, she wiped her tears and adjusted her pleats, and that's when Viraj spotted her... 

She looked beautiful, no doubt about it, he never saw Ojaswi in that angle, he always saw her as a fighting, belligerent and irritating woman but in saree, she looked like a calm woman which she is definitely not... Maybe he would have fallen in love with her if he saw her like this the first time, but now it's too late, he hates her and that feeling is there to stay... he thought...

Swapnika saw Viraj and his friends, she showed him to Krishna, and both the girls started walking towards them...

"Krishna... you are damn lucky, girl, look at him, such a beautiful piece of meat... damn, he is so handsomely hot...", Swapnika gushed and Krishna glared at her...

"What would you do with the external beauty if you were a devil from inside ??", Krishna asked her...

"That means, you agree he is handsome...", Swapnika said

"You are unbelievable...", Krishna said rolling her eyes...

They reached the group so she shut Swapnika up... Krishna greeted Dhiraj, he introduced Tejas and Harsha to her, they greeted her, she greeted the wives of the friends, she knew Uma (Tejas's wife) and Ratna(Dhiraj's wife) and now she met Harsha's wife Swati too...

"It's time for the marriage, come let's go inside...", Dhiraj said and all of them moved inside... 

Yamini and Ravikanth made their way inside, and the procedures started, Krishna want to wait for her grandfather, but she isn't sure if he had read her message or not... She messaged him the previous night about her marriage with Viraj Subramanyam and how she wants his blessings... but he didn't reply to anything...

Viraj and Ojaswi exchanged the garlands...

"Tie the 'Thali' (main mangalsutram for south Indian people)", Tejas said... Yamini Prakash handovers the beads mangalsutra instead of 'thali' 

"Aunty, you didn't bring 'Thali' ??", Uma asked

"No, my son will make her wear that in their traditional wedding, I want both these weddings to be memorable for them, so I brought this for my daughter-in-law...", Yamini said and handed it to Viraj asking him to make Krishna wear that... It's a beautiful Mangal sutra and Krishna really liked the design...

"I don't know if you liked it or not, if you didn't, you can change it later... there's an exchange...", Yamini started but Krishna cut her off...

"It's beautiful atte(mother-in-law), thank you", Krishna said... Yamini Prakash smiled at Krishna patting her head... She really liked when Krishna addressed her as 'atte' instead of 'ma'am'

Viraj tied the mangalsutra around her neck and filled her hair partition with vermilion... Everyone clapped for the couple and hooted as well... 

Later, Viraj and Krishna signed the papers, and Viraj's friends burst the paper bombs... Yamini Prakash and Ravikanth Prakash signed as witnesses from Viraj's side, and when Ashwin is gonna sign from Krishna's side, Viraj stopped him...

"Her family will sign it for her... they will be here in a minute", Viraj said...

"They are not coming Viraj...", Krishna said sighing deeply...

"They are coming, just 2 minutes...", Viraj said surprising all of them...

And after 5 minutes, Nithin and his grandfather, Ramaswamy Dikshitar made their way inside...

"Tatha... You said you wouldn't come", Krishna said hugging her grandfather tightly...

"I didn't come for you, I'm here to see the man whom you chose over me", He said keeping an angry face...

"Don't pull that angry face, what did you say ?? You don't want any relation with me, ha ?? How dare you say that ?? I'm your only granddaughter, who loves you dearly, rest all love your property...", saying this, she beats him with her fists...

Viraj is amused to see a new Ojaswi today...

"Will you kill me or what ??", Mr. Dikshitar said and Krishna hugged him tightly... 

Ashwin and Swapnika went and took Mr. Dikshitar's blessings greeting him...

"Ashu... you are here, even after knowing I'm against this marriage ??", Ramaswamy asked sternly...

"Sorry tatha, you know I can't leave Krishna alone", Ashwin said...

"And that's what is the beauty of your friendship but I'm still angry with you, I'll see you later, for now, let me sign the papers for my grandchild...", Ramaswamy said signing the papers...

"Nithin, sign it", Ramaswamy said after he signed it...

"tatha, why him ?? Ashu will sign it or Swapnika will do", Krishna said...

"Because I said so...", Ramaswamy said strictly...

"No tatha, he will not sign for me", Krishna is adamant...

"I'll only sign the papers, you can't stop me, Krishna, I'm your elder brother and you can't erase this fact", Nithin said before signing the papers and Krishna glared at him...

After the procedures are done, they left outside the room, Ashwin brought a chair for Ramaswamy Dikshitar... 

"Won't you introduce your husband to your family Krishna ??", Nithin asked...

"Family ?? Oh please Anna, only tatha is my family here...", Krishna said angrily...

"Now, why are you angry with me, what did I do ??", Nithin asked perplexed

"You defended amma and Appa last time, and I didn't like it... you should only support me because I am right, they are wrong...", Krishna said with tears in her eyes...

"ohww... Krishnuuu... don't cry... sorry, Okay fault is mine... I'm sorry, I will not defend amma again, appa is at fault too... I'm sorry", Nithin asked holding his ears but Krishna didn't budge...

Viraj is surprised to see this soft side of Nithin Dikshitar who is so fierce and arrogant toward the outer world, he understood Nithin's weak point then and there...

"Your one sorry won't wipe out my years of pain Anna, leave it, thanks for bringing tatha here... I know what all you might have faced just to bring him till here...", Krishna said...

"No, this time, I didn't do anything, Tatha himself did everything... Appa tried to stop but you know Tatha threatened to kick Appa out of the house if he tries to stop us... can you imagine the reaction on Appa's face... I wish I could have clicked a picture for you", Nithin said and Krishna laughed imagining the whole scene...

She realized that she is not alone and people are actually staring at her, but thankfully, the elders got busy talking to Ramaswamy Dikshitar, former chief justice of the supreme court, India... The man is an epitome of knowledge, he carries such an aura that anyone would want to only respect him...

"How did you know they were coming ??", Krishna asked Viraj breaking the awkward silence...

"He messaged me...", Viraj said pointing at Nithin...

"He messaged you, he had your number ?? wait, you both knew each other ??", she asked, by seeing the glares they are passing each other...

"Yes... we know each other...", Nithin answered before Viraj could say anything about the animosity between the two, worrying his sister, Nithin passed glares, clearly warning Viraj to keep his sister out of their rivalry and Viraj's smirk only irritated Nithin...

"Krishna, look, I know I didn't stand up for you in front of Appa, and you know why, but I always kept tabs on you, and till now, I knew you are at a safe place... I know you will be at a safe place from now on too, but please please call me, if you face any problem... please, I beg you Krishu... Don't punish your Anna too much...", Nithin told Krishna and she nodded seeing her brother's vulnerability...

Later, Krishna was called by Yamini and she went away followed by Swapnika...

"You really thought I would torture your sister, keeping our fight in mind ??", Viraj asked and Nithin just glared at him...

"I won't because that's not me, but if you push my buttons too much, that's what is gonna happen", Said Viraj...

"Don't you dare, Viraj Subramanyam, keep my sister out of this", Nithin warned...

"Depends on your behavior Nithin Dikshitar", Said Viraj...

After talking for some more time, Ramaswamy Dikshitar decides to leave considering his age...

Viraj and Krishna take his blessings...

"Don't wait for the marriage certificate, take the copy of the application, some photocopies of today's marriage pictures, and apply for the custody", Ramaswamy advised Viraj and Krishna...

"But why tatha, we'll wait till the marriage certificate comes, it would be a solid proof, we'll get the certificate till tomorrow right ??", Krishna said and Viraj looked at her as if she has gone crazy...

"It takes a minimum of 21 days to get the marriage certificate, also we need to inform about the marriage, 30 days prior, the sub-registrar is Appa's friend, so I managed everything for now but we need to send the documents one more time", Viraj said explaining the process... Most of which went out of her head...

"This is why your Appa calls you a black spot in the family... Our family is full of lawyers and judges, and yet you lack basic law knowledge", teased Ramaswamy...

Everyone thought Krishna would be hurt hearing the word 'black spot' but she playfully fisted him since he keeps teasing his granddaughter like that...

"And whose fault is that old man  ?? You made me like this... Huh", Krishna says...

"Yeah... I am regretting", he says...

"Go home and regret, it's so hot that if you regret here, you will burn too along with your regret... Go... ", said Krishna pushing Ramaswamy who in return hit his granddaughter on her head before leaving...

Nithin hugged his sister before leaving... She didn't understand why is her brother so worried... She waved it off thinking that she would be living with a man who is her husband now in a different house but she knew nothing about...

Huh... And that's when it sank in... She took deep breaths to calm herself...

She cleared her throat and everyone looked at her... She shook her head and they started talking, after some time, she again cleared her throat, this time only Viraj turned to her, yes... That's what she wants... She signed him to come to a side...

"Can I stay at my place till Adi gets back", Krishna asked

"Yeah you can stay there permanently if you don't come with me now, as Adiyansh won't be coming to you if you stay there... ", Viraj mocked her...

"What  ?? Why  ??", Krishna asked panicking...

"Oh god, are you really this dumb  ?? We are married and even after marriage if you live separately, do you think Rajendra Narayan's lawyers will stay quiet ?? They will get a point against us... Look I know we can't tolerate each other but you don't want them to get Adiyansh's custody, do you  ??", Viraj asked and Krishna shook her head... 

"Then come and stay with me", he said and she nodded in an 'Okay', they went back, Viraj's friends left after congratulating the couple once again...

"Ashu... I'll be staying with DCP sir from today... you come home in the evening after you finish your work, Help me and Swapnika with the packing", Krishna told Ashwin...

"But, Isn't work going on at his place, you said the contractor would start work from today, no ??", Ashwin asked...

"Yes, We are going to our parents' ", Viraj answered...

"What ??", Krishna and Yamini exclaimed at a time but Krishna with shock and Yamini with happiness...

"Everything is ready, I'll get your room cleaned... Just give me some time", said Yamini controlling her excitement...

"Amma, Amma, you have enough time till evening, We both need to pack, Right now, I have to leave for work", he said walking towards his car, Krishna followed him to ask him something...

"What ?? I can't drop you, I have more important things to do", Viraj told her arrogantly...

"Why are you so full of yourself ha ??, I don't want to go with you either, I am here to ask you till when I need to be there ??", Krishna asked him...

"Get ready by 7, I'll pick you up, and we can leave together", he said before settling in his car...

"That's not needed, I can come on my own", She said with attitude...

"I know you can, but my mom will skin me alive if I didn't pick you up, otherwise I don't have any interest to be your chauffer", He said and drove off...

"Arrogant b**t**d", she muttered... 

Ravikanth Prakash and Yamini saw the newly wedded couple's bickering... Krishna's irritated frown changed into a smile seeing Yamini's smile... She walked to her in-laws...

"Ma'am, thank you so much for whatever you and sir are doing for me and Adiyansh...", Krishna said...

"Ma'am ?? Call me Atte, Ojaswi... I just didn't want this marriage solely for custody purposes, I honestly liked you for my son, I don't know about your relationship with my son, it's not my place to talk about it, but for us, you are more than just our daughter-in-law for namesake... We would love to know you and have you as our family member, so from now, behave like my family, not an outsider... Understood ??", Yamini said cupping Krishna's cheek, she nodded with a smile in response... 

Krishna genuinely liked Yamini Prakash and she would love to have Yamini Prakash as her mother-in-law, the only issue is her son that is the very arrogant Viraj Sbramanyam whom she hates with a passion... Ravikanth bid bye to his wife and daughter-in-law before leaving for work...

"come, I'll drop you home", offered Yamini...

"Umm, it's fine Atte, Ashwin will drop me and Swapnika, please don't bother", Krishna said

"Okay, take care", Yamini said with a smile before leaving for her office in her car...

Ashwin dropped Krishna and Swapnika at Krishna's before leaving for his work, he said he couldn't come in the evening as he had very important meetings at the office and Krishna nodded saying she and Swapnika would manage... 

Krishna went to change into pajamas, did all the packing, and also cleaned the house... Swapnika helped Krishna with the chores, and they didn't realize when the clock struck 7, and Krishna panicked...

"Oh sh*t sh*t sh*t, it's 7 already, Oh that arrogant DCP will kill me, I'm gonna freshen up and change", Krishna shouted from the room, throwing the dusting cloth to the hall... "Swapnika, please clean the rest... don't leave it like this....", Krishna added... 

"Krishna, I'll do it, but have some food idiot, you didn't have anything from morning", told Swapnika but Krishna rushed into the washroom, took a bath, and washed her hair too since Viraj instead of filling just the hair partition, dropped hell lot of vermillion in her hair and it needs a wash... she cursed him, wore her pajamas thinking to drape a saree in the room...

"Krishna, come here...", Swapnika called her outside thinking she is all ready, as Viraj is here to pick her up...

Krishna came out and is shocked to see Viraj...

"I'm dead", muttered to herself glaring at her best friend...

"Wow... you are looking like a new bride, so beautiful and traditional, come let's leave", Viraj mocked giving her a once over...

She looked damn pretty and hot in that, Viraj thought, he cursed himself for thinking so... the shirt reached just above her knees... 

"Sorry, got late in cleaning", Krishna muttered before rushing inside to change herself...

Swapnika went inside to help her friend, Viraj is beyond pissed, he hated waiting and here he is doing the exact same thing... Krishna quickly draped the saree while Swapnika dried her hair and braided it...

"Krishna, why are you wearing this saree, this was your engagement saree... Why recollect bad memories ??", Swapnika asked... 

"I bought this saree with so much love Swapnika, just because of a man like Karthik Iyer, my love for this saree won't die... I still love this saree so much, it won't remind me of my broken engagement but my Adiyansh's happiness when he saw me in this saree... He jumped in happiness and went on telling everyone about how pretty I looked, that's what matters to me", Krishna said and Swapnika nodded...

Krishna filled her hair partition with vermillion and walked out with a small trolley...

"I have packed only a few clothes since we'll be moving to your place in a week, is that fine ??", she asked and he nodded looking into his phone...

"Krishna, wait, put these flowers...", Swapnika said and Krishna nodded...

"We don't have time for all these...", Viraj said looking at Krishna but what he saw made his jaw drop, but of course mentally, he is quick to control his outer expressions... He felt she is drool-worthy but she didn't have to know about it...

"Oh hello... This is not for me, but for you, all these are signs of marriage, we got married just today, and adorning with flowers will only safeguard you...", She said, he is about to say something but she interrupts him again... "I know what you would say, though this marriage is not wanted by both of us, still marriage is a marriage, so please stay put", she said, taking the flowers Swapnika brought and adorned in her hair before moving out... 

If he is honest with himself, he liked those flowers in her hair... It's their tradition and she looked like a complete married woman... Swapnika clearly saw the admiration in Viraj's eyes for her friend, a small smile formed on her lips, Viraj walked out bidding bye to Swapnika...

He took the suitcase from her and put it in his car, and sat in the driver's seat, and Krishna cursed him for spoiling her mood before getting into the passenger seat...

"And one more thing, don't pull that stunt again", Viraj said

"What ??", She asked with confusion...

"The night shirt stunt, don't wear that at my parents' place, dad would get uncomfortable... I don't care how you will be at my place because honestly, I don't care", he said but inside, he cares deeply... He doesn't want any other man to see his wife like that... 

"Oh hello... I don't wear that usually, I was about to drape a saree after taking a bath, I didn't know you were there outside, if I knew, I wouldn't have come out, and I don't wear that in front of anyone except for Adiyansh, so stop with your lecture...", she said angrily... 'controlling and arrogant b**t**d', she muttered inside...

Well, she is pissed hearing him but he sighed in relief hearing her... God, if Krishna hears his thoughts, she would definitely kill him...

They reached his parents' place... Yamini welcomed them according to their traditions... 

"You are looking so beautiful Ojaswi", Yamini said hugging Krishna...

"Thank you Atte...", she said and all the four sat in the hall...

Yamini asked the helper to put the luggage in Viraj's room...

"Mom, ask him to put her luggage in another room", Viraj said and Krishna sighed in relief...

Yamini didn't like it but she didn't say a word, she is not one of those mothers who would meddle with her son's marriage... 

"Okay", Yamini said and asked the helper to put Ojaswi's luggage in guest room 1 and the help nodded...

All the four had their dinner, Yamini and Krishna enjoyed each other's company, Viraj and Ravikanth liked their bond, Yamini joked on Ravikanth and Viraj with Krishna, she just chuckled if it was about Ravikanth but if it was about Viraj, she laughed out like crazy pissing him...

Krishna wanted to return the jewelry and saree but Yamini Prakash didn't take it, she said she purchased the set exclusively for her daughter-in-law, and she didn't want it back... Krishna insisted but Yamini again used her 'mother-in-law' card and Krishna had no option except to keep it...

After hours of talking, everyone dispersed to their rooms...
