Yeah... So school was okay with me these days, and I just want to tell you something that I've decided when this school year started.
If you don't know, my family is not rich. My father is, if I can say, the only one who works for the money of all members. One month, he gets paid 160$ (that's 4,000,000 VND if I take 1$ = 25,000 VND in Vietnam). And since the school I am studying is an all-day school, the fees for me to study there for a month is 140$ (That's 3,500,000 VND)! That's nearly all the money gone. I don't know if my dad has other salaries as well, but basically, he has to save up the money for like 2-3 months, might even 4, to pay for that school fees!
I fell really pity for him. Like, I can't have any personal money. I don't own a bicycle, I can't go out with my friends in the weekend, and I can't even afford myself a switch keyboard!
Look around at my friends, I feel even more depressed. Their family are so rich that they can have like unlimited money, expensive phones and awesome stuff like that as well! Meanwhile, I can't even buy a selfie stick!
I'm not jealous, but that makes me really sad. My family is not rich, I told you. I always feel sad and sorry for my father. I hardly ask for something expensive. This is why as I mentioned in the first chapter - About me - I want to study well this year to get a 80$ scholarship (2,000,000 VND), then father will add money for me to change my phone. My laptop, my tablet, everything that's expensive all came from other people (my aunt, uncle, etc.). But I always feel like that's not enough, so I want to help my family even more. By the most simplest things.
And I've decided.
I will change school after this school year.
I will transfer to a half-day school which the school fees is only less than 3$ a month (70,000 VND)! I know that I will have to take outclass lessons as well, but in order to pull my family out of puberty, I have to do it. I'm a Grade 10 Student. And I know what the members are going through. To say the truth to you, I am currently thinking of doing work experience when I'm in college.
But no matter what happens, the school I'm currently studying will always be a good memory I will never forget in my lifetime.
