A cloud looms over my head
No one notices, nor pays attention
A mental disorder I dread
A disorder that's a misapprehension

Time to show my face in public
Time to put on my mask
Time to fake who I really am

A cloud looms over my head
No one notices, nor pays attention
A mental disorder I dread
A disorder that's a misapprehension

Depression at age 12
It's not okay
A book shelved away
Never to be touched again

A cloud looms over my head
No one notices, nor pays attention
A mental disorder I dread
A disorder that's a misapprehension

I look around my room
Nothing interests me anymore
I crawl into my bed
To cry the pain away

A cloud looms over my head
No one notices, nor pays attention
A mental disorder I dread
A disorder that's a misapprehension

I talk to my brother
I ask him to watch a video with me
He refused
Pushing me away

A cloud looms over my head
No one notices, nor pays attention
A mental disorder I dread
A disorder that's a misapprehension

I hold back my tears
And watch the video myself
Silently weeping
The pain away

A cloud looms over my head
No one notices, nor pays attention
A mental disorder I dread
A disorder that's a misapprehension
