"What?" He spat.

"I'm pregnant." You looked him in the eye.

"WHAT!?! W-when-how!?" He looked at you in shock then he glared. "Who's the father?"

"Idiot. I'm kidding. I'm barely nineteen! Waaay to young to have a kid!" You hit his shoulder playfully.

"I hate you." Akutagawa looked away. "What did you really need?"

"I need you to remember that I love you when I say this, ok?"

"Yeah yeah whatever!"

"Aku, I'm serious."

"Ok. Go on."

You breathed in sharply. "I'm joining the Agency."

Akutagawa said nothing.

"Aku?" He turned and punched you in the gut.

"Why the hell would you do that!?" He screamed.

Instead of answering, you gave him a look. A determined look. A look that said "what do you think?"

"No." He dropped you and fell to his knees. "Not you too..." he fell on his hands. "Please Y/N! Not you too! Please don't leave me here all alone! Please..."

You kneeled down next to him. You gently picked up his face to see tears falling off his cheeks onto your lap. You hugged him. As tears fell onto your shirt, he held you tight.

"Aku, you know why I'm leaving, don't you?"

You expected a reply, but instead got more choked sobs. You hugged his head harder, your hands petting his soft dark hair. "I don't think I could handle taking another life. You know? Your stronger than me. You'll do fine in the Mafia. Who knows? You might even be the boss one day."

"Your still gonna live with me and Gin?" Aku asked trying to force back more tears.

"Duh! I'm too lazy to find my own place. Besides, I love you. Why would I leave?" You smiles and Akutagawa relaxed a bit.

"Y/N? I love you too." Akutagawa hugged you.

In complete shock, you didn't react or move. Instead you smiled and relaxed in Akutagawa's embrace. It was by far, the best moment of your entire life.
