Om- shivaay ,the operation is fixed in 2 days from today.

S- om,we have our exams in 2 days .

Om- what are you even telling shivaay ,exams se jyada tera operation important hai .

S- par(interrupted)

Om- I'm sorry shivaay ,we aren't postponing your operation and that's final.

After sometime

A- om?

Om- hey annika ,come inside .

A- uhh vo ,I wanted to ask you something.

Om- yeah tell me .

A- shivaay is hiding something from me right ?

Om was shocked .Did she come to know about shivaay's condition?But how ?(he thought )

At the same time in shivika's room

Suddenly shivaay felt a strangling pain in his chest ,when he was checking through his cupboard for some books .Soon all the books were on ground lying beside a person who seemed to struggle from immense pain.He placed his palm on his chest and tried to breathe,but he couldn't help himself at that second .He caught hold of the bedspread with his fist and crushed it to push some of his pain .

In Om's room

Om- I don't understand,why would shivaay do something like that (he tried to convince her)

A- Om plss,I know everything so don't hide anything now,tell me the truth. (She demanded)

Her steady voice ,made him startle.

Om- you know everything?

A- yes.If shivaay does something,it would definitely be known to you ,so plss.... atleast you don't hide anything from me .Tell me everything from the beginning.

After a long pause he spoke .

Om- Ok, when you already knew it. I'm not supposed to hide this from you anymore. I told him to tell you everything ,the doctor said ....the other day itself but.....(annika was looking at him confusedly)

Before Om could continue ,they both heard a shrieking voice .

Pinky - shivaay .....

She shrieked standing near the door of shivaay's room witnessing the terrifying sight .Her son was lying down unconsciously surrounded by a totally dishevelled room.Hearing the noise the whole Oberoi clan rushed there including Om and annika .At once there prevailed a sensuous silence throughout the place .Each of them were trying to register the scene infront of them .While annika stood numb ,with fresh tears initiating to well up in her eyes.It was Om who rushed to shivaay first .

Om- shivaay,shivaay....(patting his cheecks)

Soon the whole family members surrounded him .

P- shivaay,kya huwa beta .(taking his head on her lap)shivaay ....(crying )

R- baiya ...baiya ,plss don't play with us baiya .Plss get up ,(crying seated beside om )

Annika who still stood near the door didn't dare to enter inside ,her cheecks were already locked with tears but her face showed no reaction.

Om made shivaay lay on the bed and immediately called the doctor.(the same Dr who knew shivaay's condition )

The family waited outside the room while the Dr checked shivaay .When he came out ,at once everyone shooted him with questions .

Daadi- Dr , shivaay kaisa hai .Vo teek haina ?

Shakthi who was supporting an extremely devastated pinky spoke.

Sh- Dr ?What happened to my son?

The Doctor then saw annika who was already looking at him keenly waiting for his positive answer ,then he looked at Om.

Dr- Mr.Oberoi ,We have to operate him soon.It is good for us to make it as soon as possible (he admitted bringing a big shock to everyone present there)

P- Dr ,kis operation ki baath kar rahe hai aap?Mera shivaay bilkul teek hai .(jolting out from shakthi's hold)

Dr- she doesn't know? (to Om,to which he nodded in negotiation with tears in his eyes )

A- Dr ?what ...happened to ...shivaay ?(she stammered between her sobs while looking at Om in suspicion)

Dr- I'm really sorry Mrs.Oberoi ,I didn't inform the whole truth to you , the other day. Your husband requested me to hide it from you .I denied him ,but ....

A- just ....tell me what happened to him ?(she daringly demanded the answer with a terribly shaking voice which clearly showed her broken state )

Dr- your husband has a atrioventricular block in his heart, he has just suffered his first attack .Immediate operation is needed,because complications jyada hai.

Annika gulped through her dry throat ,soon she felt the land beneath betraying her feet .The next second Omru moved forward and caught her from falling down and held her shoulders supportively .

Indeed it was an horror grown news to the oberois ,each and everyone were still in the shock as the Dr's words didn't leave their ears still.

P- kya bol rahe aap?shakthiji ,ye kya bol raha hai .(she rushed to the Dr and held his collars )mera beta ko kuch nahi ho saktha nahi...(crying hysterically)mera shivaay ko kuch nahi ho saktha .....

Jhanvi held pinky ,and tried to console her but pinky was totally dejected listening to the Dr's words. Only her son shivaay can make her silent now.

The big luxurious OM seemed to witness a sorrowful day ahead as everyone in the house just did nothing than crying. The Dr had informed that to prepon the operation the next day,he added that shivaay would gain conscious the next morning .

At night

Annika was seated on the bed beside him ,with her gaze on him which didn't move from him even for an instant.She gently placed her palms on his cheecks and rubbed his beard.

A- kyun shivaay? ,why everything is happening only with me ?I don't want to loose you ,I'm very sacred shivaay .I'm scared ,dekho mein ro rahi hoon but you aren't even pacifying me.(she complained while holding his hands )Everyone are telling ,ki tumhara condition serious hai .But I know ,tumhe kuch nahi hoga(nodding definitely)tumhe kuch nahi hoga na ?(hiding her face into his hands )Tumhe pata hai,after madhu's death I just hated men ,and I was afraid to trust anyone.But when you came into my life,everything changed completely. I don't know what would have happened if I had married someone else ,because tum jaise koi nahi hai jo meri itni kayal rakh sakthe hai.Plss , get well soon and be with me .(she bent down and placed a soft tenderly kiss on his forehead and gently ruffled his hair)Just be with me ,plss .

After a long session of ruffling his hair ,she thought to move as she didn't want to disturb him.When she got up ,the thread strings in her stole was entangled with his wrist watch .Seeing this ,a small smile covered her lips.

A- I know ,you will never leave me.

Saying this she pinned out her stole and placed it beside him .

The next morning

Shivaay slowly gained conscious ,his eye balls moved alternatively bringing some relief to the people present around him.Opening his eyes ,he witnessed his whole family surrounded there ,but...but where is she ?(he thought )Pinky rushed to him.

P- shivaay...ab kaise ho (cupping his face )

S- mom ,I'm fine .Aap plss rohiye mat.(wiping her tears )Aap sabko bol raha hoon ,don't cry ...mein teek hoon.

R-baiya ...(he ran and hugged him )

S- Rudy ,it's ok...it's ok(rubbing his back )I'm fine .

R- mujse chupaaya na aap ,mujse ..(he cried)

S- isliye ,isliye mein ne aap sabse ye baath chupaaya .I cannot see my family like this .

Sh- and do you think ,we could see our son in this condition?

P- shakthiji,chodiye na.Why are you scolding my son?Go and fresh up shivaay ,I'll bring you breakfast .We have to leave to the hospital.

S- mom,stop treating me like a patient .Don't bring the breakfast here ,I'm all fine to walk.

Jh- but shivaay ....

P- teek hai ,vahi hoga jo mera shivaay chahtha .Now come let's go ,he will come after freshing up .

Everyone left the room.

Shivaay noticed her stole beside him .

S- kahan hai aap ?(with the stole in his hands )

Shivaay came to know that annika had gone to the temple with daadi .He was desperate to meet her ,how is she ?Is she fine ?or is she worried ? He saw her approaching the dining area with daadi .Her eyes didn't meet his's making him go more desperate.

D- shivaay ?ab kaise ho beta ?(seated beside him)

S- muje kuch nahi huwa daadi .....(he continued consoling  his daadi but still his eyes were thoroughly witnessing her actions )

She served the food for everyone and stood behind Rudra quietly still not daring to look at him.

It was noon,when everyone were getting ready to go to the hospital.Dr had informed that the operation was fixed at 7 PM ,and he must be admitted afternoon at 1.30 PM to carry out some tests .

Shivaay who had still not spoken to her ,just rushed inside his room .Annika who came out from the washroom saw him there ,without speaking anything she turned to leave.Feeling this ...

S -annika ek minute ...

She stopped .

S- why are you avoiding me annika ?

A- why would I avoid you shivaay .(she still didn't face him)

S- I can feel it annika ,

A- it's nothing like that shivaay ,I'm just disturbed.

S- annika ...

A- shall I ask you one thing ?why didn't you tell me about this shivaay?Is it that I didn't deserve to know this ?Are we just two people who live together but doesn't share any emotional bonding with the other ?I didn't know that our relationship didn't have this right even .

He felt her shaking voice through each word .He immediately pulled her and made her face him to witness continuous tears flowing from her eyes.

A- answer me shivaay ?Was everything just ...just.....(her words died in her throat as she already started crying )

S- annika annika ,rohiye mat .Aisa kuch nahi annika.I didn't want you to get worried ,that's why I didn't tell you .

He tried to hold her but she jolted which made him move back and he hit the wall. Immediately,she went and held his hands .

A- I'm sorry ,I really am.I can understand ,why you would have done it .I just overreacted. I'm sorry

S- I can never see you in pain annika, the other day you were already scared with my health status as I was injected poison so I didn't want you to get worried .Mein aapko kabhi parishaan mei nahi dekh saktha hoon ,isliye ...

He stopped seeing her hand which indicated him to halt .

A- tumhe kuch kehne ka koi zaroorat nahi hai .I know you ,could you just do me a help .(wiping her tears )

He blinked his eyes in acceptance.

A- hug me....could you hug me for a second,haan?

Shivaay looked into her eyes for a second and then forwarded .He wrapped his hands around her and pulled her close .She stood still without reciprocating but her inner heart could feel extreme relief the very next second she stood within his arms.That's what she needed ,that's what she demanded .Anything might happen, but it would always be her husband who could pull out her pain.Soon she placed her fingers on his hair with her chin resting on his shoulders ,she hugged him tightly.

A- bolo ki tumhe kuch nahi hoga ,(she spoke while hugging him)

S- Shivaay Singh Oberoi ki jaan itni aasaani se nahi jaayegi.

He told while caressing her head ,which gradually brought a smile on her face.

No other place is more comfortable for me than your arms my lovely husband 💞
