The next day AniShivOmRu were having their breakfast. It was weekend.

R- so babhi,what's the plan for today?

A- matlab?

R- college leave haina aaj,

A-leave hai, but I have lots of assignments to complete.

R- common babhi,everyday your busy with your work .Atleast ek din,

A- teek hai baba,tell me what shall we do?

R- Koi game kelthe hain(he told excitedly)

A- wow Rudy,superb idea.(while Rudy smirked lifting his collar)

ShivOm who were listening to the duo's conversation all this time just shook their heads in disbelief .

S- guys are you serious .

A- tum chup raho(she ordered him , which he actually obeyed immediately).Rudy ,you tell me kya game hai?

R- hmmm,(thinking)haan Hide and seek?

O/A- Duffer /Great Rudy.

A- Om , what yaar?common na let's play. It's been so long since I've played.Do you know I used to play with aju but after coming here...(she created a fake sad face which didn't go unnoticed by shivaay)

S- Om , we are playing and that's final.

Om gave a glared look which shivaay royally ignored.

Om- fine kelthein hain,(he spoke while patting shivaay's shoulder harshly )

R- who's the catcher now?

A- wait ,I've an idea .

She made them stand in circle .

A- each peach plach pum choose your best plum(she started doing it childshly making shivaay already go in "aww" of her )

And at the end ,she became the catcher.

A- ok ,I'll count upto 50 times .And you all know the rules right?You shouldn't go out of the house,not even the terrace hmm?

Om nodded obediently. The scene actually seemed as they were small kids who used to complete their homework soon ,to ask permission from their parents to play.

And annika started counting with closed eyes ,Rudy already ran towards the kitchen. Om was about to run when he saw shivaay standing right behind annika.

Om- oi shivaay,ye stupid idea tum kabi chodoge nahi na(he whispered and pulled him from there)hide somewhere else .

Om went upstairs and shivaay reached his room and hid behind the curtains.

A- 48...49 annnnnnnd 50. I'm coming.

She scanned the room fully , and she thought to check the storeroom first .

A- yahan tho koi nahi hai,let me check in the kitchen .

She reached the kitchen and looked around .Rudy was actually hiding in the cupboard below the sink .Annika was just standing close to that place .And due to the dust ,Rudy felt a sudden urgency to sneeze .

R- oh God,isko bhi abhi ana tha...aaaaaachoooo.

He saw someone opening the door so he shut his eyes as he thought he was caught by annika .

Pinky- Oh my mata ,Rudra ?yahan kya kar rahe ho?

R- choti maa?Where's annika babhi?

P- I saw her going to her rooms.Why?

R- thank God! Ok choti close this door .We are playing hide and seek ,babhi is the catcher .Close the door na (he pulled the small cupboard door and closed it)

P- ye bache bi na,

Here,annika came into the room and tiptoed to maintain silence .As she came forward she saw someone's shadow visible on the screen and she was somehow convinced that it was none other than shivaay.

On the other hand as soon as he knew that she was inside ,he stood still with finger on his lips to make no motions.But poor shivaay,didn't realize that his wife had already caught him .

She moved slowly close to him ,and wrapped the curtain around him .

A- yeah ,I caught shivaay (she shouted holding him tightly who was actually packed inside the curtain ).Shivaay is the 1st rise .Yeahhhh

She was jumping in excitement when suddenly the curtain clip got removed and ,brought an imbalance to the both due to which both fell down on the floor.Shivaay's face was still covered with the curtain .Annika who was on top,slowly removed the cloth to find him lying with his eyes tightly shut but his hands catching hold of her securely.

A- shivaay,you can't hide yourself by closing your eyes man ,common open it.You are out .

He opened his eyes slowly with a puppy face making her chuckle at him.Their moment didn't end soon as it prolonged little longer until OmRu came there.

R- O,I think only baiya and babhi were in the game .I was a mad to hide in the kitchen for all this time .

Om- not only you Rudy,even I was hiding below daadis bed .

They looked at shivika who had still not recovered  from their moment , and they were sharing an eye lock.

R- let's go O,I don't think they are going to ...(nodding negatively)

And soon ,shivaay realized what was happening and and stood up and made her stand with him.

R- baiya ?kya ho raha tha?

S- kuch nahi.

R- babhi kya ho raha tha?(he teased)

A- kuch nahi ,shivaay is the catcher now.Come shivaay ,go and count upto 50,we all will hide.

R- babhi ,As far as I know you both are playing a different game haan? (he asked with a mischievous smile)

A- Rudy...chup,shivaay?go ...

Shivaay went and started counting .And everyone rushed to find their places .Annika climbed through a table and settled herself in the top shaft in her room .She felt something poking her from behind ,and it was nothing but a box which a neatly wrapped up.

A- ye kya hai?

She opened it , and there was a peach coloured duppata inside it.She was viewing it being confused but suddenly something striked her mind. It was her's ,the one which she had lost before few days in the bus.

A- ye kaise yahan? My peach shawl ,shivaay ke paas kaise?I remember losing this before meeting shivaay .Then ?how this is possible ?....Annika,you are overthinking.It must be pinky mummy's. But why is it kept here? Oh God,leave it.

Her thoughts were broken when she saw shivaay there shouting pointing her "annika ,aap hai 1st rise,I caught you "

A- shit.Ok fine ,wait.

She tired to get down but halted immediately.

S- what happened annika?

A- I don't know how I climbed here ,but now ...(she hesitated)

S - kuch nahi annika,jump down.Mein hoon na.

A- ok ,ok ,shivaay careful haan.1...2....3

She jumped from there and the next second felt herself landed in his arms .She was still closing her eyes ,clutching onto his neck tightly.

S - annika,you can't hide by closing your eyes .(he whispered in her ears making her open her eyes immediately)

A- so ,badla le rahe ho mujse?(she complained)

S- nahi. I was just saying (he said with a smile)

This was witnessed by 2 people who stood at the doorway.

R- I told you right Om?They both are playing their own game.

Om- chodo yaar.

R- Chal teek hai, come let's play .

Om- No I ain't. (He left from there )

R- O..Om .....(he followed )

Evening

A - mummy?

P- annika ,come inside why are you standing there ,come.

She came in and settled beside pinky

P- what happened annika?

A- nothing mummy,bas aisehi.

P- kya huwa tumlog ka  hide and seek bhi bore hogaya hai kya?

And they both started laughing .

Then annika noticed ,pinky busy in her embroidery.

A- aaj kya design kar rahi hai aap?

P- it isn't any design beta,ye letter S hai.(she showed it to her).Actually vo kya haina? Shivaay and Om use the same type of lab coat ,colour bi same hai ,so to avoid confusion I do this embroidery in their respective coats .S for shivaay and O for Om.

A- hmm, good.

But soon her reactions changed when she remembered something .

A- mummy I'll just come.

P- ok beta.

Annika dialled to Karunya , and asked her to check whether there was an embroidery named S in the lab coat which was placed in her wardrobe. And to her shock, her mother told that there was one with the letter S stitched on it near the pocket .

A- (thinking)what's all this?First my duppata and now this labcoat. This means ,it was shivaay's labcoat which I had used that day.Am I leaving  something?

Then annika remembered about the mysterious Mr.X who had gone idle from the time shivaay came into her life.She even remembered when gauri told that it was shivaay who carried her to the aid room when she fainted on the sports day.Knowing all this something was really pricking her ,she immediately went to her room and sent a pic of shivaay's handwriting to gauri and asked to check whether it matched with the note which was written with the gift(shoes) which she received before the sports day.

(Annika had kept those things carefully)

She was thrilled when her eyes witnessed the message from gauri stating"it matches perfectly annika"

A- iska matlab? Shivaay...but ,why would he?I was not even aware that there was a student named shivaay in my college during those days,then why would he do all this?

At the same time she saw shivaay and Om discussing about something seriously .

A- I should ask Om about this.(she thought)

The couples that are meant to be are the ones who go through everything that's designed to tear them apart and come out even stronger 💞

Precap

A- Om,I know everything so don't hide anything now,tell me the truth. (She demanded)

Om- you know everything?

A- yes.

Om- Ok, when you already knew it. I'm not supposed to hide this from you anymore. I told him to tell you everything ,the doctor said ....the other day itself but.....(annika was looking at him confusedly)
