The next day

Gauri returned home after visiting her parents,while she was entering the living room she saw karunya running here and there being in a hurry...

G-aunty,what happened you seem to be very happy today?

K-gauri beta acha huwa tum aagayi,it's a big day for your friend and she'll feel happy if you're with her(smiling)

G-matlab?

K-annika didn't tell you...acha teek hai,aaj ladke waale aa rahe hain annika ko dekne ke liye! (her face was glowing in contentment)

G-acha(happy but still somewhere confused)

K-haa haan,I have lots of work to do,jaldi jao tum breakfast kao aur annika ko tayyar hone mein help karo.I want my daughter to look beautiful today ,samje tum?

G-jii aunty(smiling)

Gauri went to annika's room.She saw annika sitting in front of the dressing table where her clothes and all her accessories were kept aside.Annika was lost in her own thoughts as she didn't even realize gauri standing in front of her...

G-Annika(shaking her shoulders)

A-(coming out of her trance)gauri...

G-kaisi ho tum ?and aunty told me about your marriage.Did you agree for this marriage?

A-haan gauri,Manzoor hai muje (she said with blunt reaction)

G-annika,are you really happy in this marriage?(suspecting)

G-bolo annika?

A-honi chahiye gauri(she said this and turned the other side)

G-don't hide anything from me annika(pulling her to face to face)

Annika couldn't hold more,she instantly hugged gauri and cried her heart out and told her why she had agreed for this marriage ...

G-Shall I speak to aunty?

A-nahi gauri, mummy kush hai.And she's not doing anything wrong ,mere liye kya sahi hai usko pata hai.So just leave it.

G-(lifting annika's chin to meet her eyes)par teri kushi ko kya?

A-(smiling subtly)you know right,already di ne mummy ko bahut hurt kiya and I don't want to repeat the same .

Without telling anything gauri just pulled annika into a tight hug.

G-sab acha hoga(caressing her back)

After sometime

The groom's family had arrived and they were waiting for annika...

K-gauri...annika ko leke aao beta.

Then annika came there with gauri

Everyone were impressed with annika and they decided to confirm the alliance ...

K-sushmita ji,why didn't your son come to meet us?

Su-He's busy with his schedule ,and not only that he must return to states by this week .So I just want ki ye shaadi jaldi ho.

Su-tho teek hai karunya ji,you finalize the date and inform us.And plss be sure ki marriage date is hafte ke andar andar ho.Aur shaadi ki saare rasam ham nahi kar sakte hain kyunki time nahi hai,so are you fine with it?

K-it's ok,bas is shaadi se meri annika ki new life mein achi shuruvaat ho.

At evening

Annika was searching for aju ,but he was nowhere to be found .But suddenly something striked her and she hurriedly ran to her room and opened her cupboard to find him sitting inside and crying...

A-aju...(carrying him and placing him on bed)how much times I've told you not to do this (angry)It's not safe inside.

But he didn't reply to her rather he just cried more...

A-acha teek hai,I'm not angry. Ab bathao kya huwa tumhe ?

Aj- tum chali jaaogi?shaadi karke?(figeting her duppata while crying )

And that moment annika faced the reality like the fact that she was ahead of leaving her family after her marriage was really painful for her...

A-aju rona mat ,(wiping his tears with her duppata)I'm not leaving anywhere.Ok(cutted by him)

Aj- joot mat bolo si,muje pata hai shadi ke baadh girls apne gar mein nahi rehte hai.Kahi dhoor chali jaathi hai.

Annika was not able to answer him,she just looked at him with teary eyes and pulled him into a tight hug...

Aj- mat jaao na ?(he said while playing with her hair)

A-kahi bahar chale?

Aj- no ,first answer me.

A-why should I ask your permission,(carrying him )come let's go.

Aj- si ,hamesha cheating karthi ho tum(slightly hitting her shoulders)I don't want to go anywhere.

A-Arey aao na(taking him forcibly)

She took him to a park nearby and they both were playing in the swing...

Aj-enough si ,you are only swinging here for the past half an hour.Utto na ...(pleading)jaao tum mein push nahi karungi(backing out)

A-Arey aju ruk jao ,sorry sorry haan(running back and pacifying him).Ok come sit here.

Then she helped him swing by pushing him.On the other side shivaay who had come to the same area for some work was walking past the park.Annika saw him but he didn't notice her...

A-shivaay(loudly)

As soon as he heard her voice his eyes travelled the whole place to get her sight and instantly a smile crept his face when he found her.She immediately signalled him to come inside the park and he did so...

A-tum ,yahan kya kar rahi ho?

S-Actually I had some work, and aap yahan?

A-iske saath aayi hoon(pointing aju)

S-hai aju(waving hands)

Instantly aju turned the other side without responding him...

A-aju...(angry)aise nahi karni chahiye. Sorry bolo.

S-It's ok annika,ek din mein itna bada remote car leke aaungi(stretching out his hands)

Aju watched it through the corner of his eyes but acted as thought he didn't care...

A-chodo shivaay,he's always like this .Oi ,you play here aur mein vahan hongi(pointing a bench )teek hai?

Aj- hmm(nodding)

A-be careful.

Then they both went and sat on the bench and they chatted on random things when...

A- haww (shocked)vahan dekho na(pointing a couple)

S-why what's wrong?

A-I've seen the same person with two different girls within this week.And today it's the fourth one.Is this love?(disgusting voice)love is just betrayal and nothing else.

S- aap galat hai?(smiling)

A-mein galat hoon?(shocked)jab ek relationship mei sachayi nahi hoti tho vo kaisa pyaar hoga?(arguing)

S-no it's not like that,you always look only at one side of the coin.

A-matlab?

S-matlab....(thinking)hmm...haan vahan dhekiye(pointing)that is love...

There was a old aged couple ,where the husband was helping his wife in wearing her slippers while the wife was adjusting his collar.And after that they both started walking hand in hand through the park.Watching the scene instantly annika's lips curved up to grab a smile .

S-what will be their age ?

A-around 60's maybe.

S-Age is just a number annika,(smiling)aisa pyaar bhi hota hai. Beyhadh pyaar(looking at her for a moment and turning again),when you are ready to do anything to bring a smile on their face, when you are ready to sacrifice everything for their happiness .When you feel that you can never live without them,if you truly care for them . This is love annika...

They were lost in each others eyes.

A-maybe ...tum sahi bolrahi ho(maintaining eye contact)par muje aisa pyaar kabhi nahi mila.

S-zaroor milegi.

A-its not Possible (nodding negatively)

S-kyun?

A-kyunki meri shaadi...(paused)

S-what did you say?

A-kuch nahi...

Before he could say something,a cricket ball flew through the air and hit on annika's arm hardly...

A-sss....ahhhh...(wincing in pain)

S-annika...kya huwa(scared) dikhayiye muje .(pulling back her sleaves)

S-ye tho blood clot hogayi,let's go to the hospital chaliye.

A-arey tum pagal ho,its not a very big wound .Leave it ...

S-no,let's go(pleading)

A-chup rahogi?(ordering)sss...(rubbing the spot)

Instantly her reaction changed when she found him blowing on her arm.His lips were brushing her skin slightly which created a new havoc in her which she had never felt.Her lips curved up watching his concern filled eyes as she somewhere liked it.Her gaze slowly travelled through him ,from his eyes nose ,lips and when she saw his hair there were some small dry leaves fallen on his hair .Without speaking anything she gently held his neck with one hand and dusted away the leaves with the other hand.Feeling her fingers on his neck he stopped blowing and slowly looked up and that is when they both realized that there was null distance between them.But still they didn't break their eye contact when...

Boy-sorry di.

Instantly they both came out of the trance and moved away...

A-its ok,here's your ball (throwing it to the boy)

Boy-thank you didi.(he went from there)

A-ok shivaay ,I'll leave.

S-Wait, I'll drop you.

A-no ,I came by scooty.

S-how will you be able to drive,your wounded(insisting)

A-shivaay...I'm telling you right ,I'm totally fine.Bye

S-teek hai (defeated reaction)bye.

A-(chuckling)bacha ho tum.

To which he just cutely frowned.Then she went and took aju with her and left the place,while he stood there watching her until her scooty moved from his sight.

I fell in love with  the way you touched me  without using your hands💞
