Kageyama woke up realizing that he was alone in bed. He stretched his arms in the air and yawned. The raven-haired boy quickly got up and changed, then he started to search for Hinata. Kageyama wasn't sure what preparation he was supposed to do for this afternoon. His nerves quickly returned and butterfly's filled his stomach when he realized he would be up on stage in front of everyone in just a couple hours. Hinata wasn't on the roof and there was no conference going on at the moment. Kageyama checked with lev but Hinata wasn't on patrol either. Kageyama was continuing his search for Hinata when Yachi came up to him. "Hi, are you looking for Hinata," she said in a sing-song voice. "Yeah, actually I am" Kageyama replied. "I saw him go into the medical emergency room down the hall there, late last night I think he's still in there," she said pointing to a room on Kageyama's left. "Thanks" Kageyama called already jogging over there and carefully opening the door. He gently closed it behind him. Hinata was sleeping peacefully by the side of Nishinoya's hospital bed.

The thing that surprised Kageyama the most was that Nishinoya was awake. "Uuuuh hi," Kageyama said scratching his chin. "Hey, Newbie" Nishinoya replied a little too loudly. So loudly in fact that Hinata woke up. "Noya!" he said hugging his underling with tears in his eyes. Wow he's got a heart of pure gold I'm lucky to have him Kageyama thought a small smile creeping up on his face "I'm so glad you're okay" Hinata replied happily. "It'll take more than a couple of bullets to take me down" Nishinomiya exclaimed dramatically pointing a thumbs up at his chest. "hey how long have I been out" Nishinoya suddenly said with a frown on his face. "Just one night you don't have to worry about that" "umm this dudes ceremonies gonna start in 30 minutes" Nishinoya said pointing to the clock mounted above the door.

"Crap" Hinata huffed standing up and grabbing Kagayamas wrist he pulled him along and down the corridor. "you get your uniform today I had it made for you" he said. Kageyama had barely registered what Hinata had said when he had a stack of folded clothes thrust into his arms. "th-thanks" he spluttered utterly shocked and appreciative of the gift hed been given. "hurry up and put it on" Hinata said stepping around the corner so that he was out of view. Kageyama changed gingerly into the uniform. He could feel Hinatas presence and it felt strangely intimate. The feeling was soon over though m as he pulled down the shirt to the uniform and clasp the belt buckle together. He felt proud, something hed never felt wearing the government's grotesque black. The greens and browns of this uniform were a much better fit. "You ready" Hinata said jerking Kageyama back to reality. "yes" he said rushing over to Hinata who gave him a once over and then smiled playfully before leading him back out to the courtyard on the first floor, which was set up with a stage. Kageyama gulped.

The ceremony wasn't as bad as Kageyama thought it would be. He was called up and given Daichi as his mentor. Daichi was a warm man with equally warm brown hair and eyes. Kageyama looked forward to learning from him, unlike with Oikawa. Kageyama almost grimaced on stage in front of everyone but kept it together as Daichi walked back off the stage. Nishinoya was also promoted to lieutenant which was a happy surprise for everyone. Kageyama was thankful at least some of the attention had been diverted away from him. After It was over, everyone had a little celebration, there were drinks and good food that the hunting and foraging parties had brung back. People laughed and the room seemed to be bright with the color of happiness and for Kageyama new beginning.

Afterward, he held Hinata's hand as they walked back up to their room h..he meant Hinatas room. Both boys were smiling and laughing, and bickering sweetly back and forth. "You should take a shower," Hinata said as he plopped down on the bed and started to struggle out of his shoes. "Yeah, I probably should," Kageyama said sniffing his armpit and then pretending to almost faint dramatically. "Just go shower you idiot," Hinata said chucking his shoe at him. Kageyama dodged and hurridly skittered into the bathroom and started to change out of his sweat-soaked clothes.

Kageyama stepped into the shower and turned on the hot water letting it run all over his back and arms. He had that feeling again like he could sense Hinata in the other room and it was strange and intimate. "K...kageyma" Kageyama jumped and pushed himself up against the shower wall Hinata sounded as if he was just outside the shower door. "y..y....yess" He could hear Hinata take a deep breath and then blurt out "c..can I shower with you" Kageyamas heart actually stopped beating or maybe it was beating so fast he couldn't feel it anymore. All Kageyama managed to get out of his mouth were a few weird noises and huffs which just made Kageyama even more flustered.

Before Kageyama could actually answer, Hinata pulled open the door and stepped inside closing it behind him. They looked away from each other blushing. Kageyama could see Hintatas perfectly flawless skin and delicate attractive curve of his waist. They looked at each other at the same time and in one fluid motion met in a single deep and oh so passionate kiss. They pulled apart for a second to catch their breaths but it did not last long and soon enough they were kissing again Kageyama brought his hand up to gently cup Hinatas face. Hinata moaned and Kageyama took advantage of this snaking his tongue into Hinata's mouth and exploring every crevice. Kagayama pushed Hinata up against the side of the shower pressing their bodies together. he started to trail kisses down the side of Hinata's face to his neck. Kageyama wanted to kiss every inch of skin, to claim it as his own.

"Are you sure about this?" Kageyama whispered seductively into Hinatas ear. Hinata spoke strongly and passionately and Kageyama could tell he was sincere when he said what he said next, "Yes Kageyama I want you" "all of you" he added. Kageyama continued to kiss Hinata's neck. Hinata, in turn, tangled his hands in Kageyama's hair. Kagayama inched his hand down Hinatas thigh and picked up his leg pining him against the wall. He picked up his other leg so that he was holding Hinata in the air still pressed up against the shower wall. "I want you inside me Kageyama" Hinata moaned softly. Kageyama did not need to be told twice he slowly entered into the orange-haired boy. They both gasped a little and Kayama just stood like that resting his head on Hinatas shoulder. "You can move now" he whispered encouragingly and a bit desperately into Kageyamas ear. he started to move slowly at first but then faster. Hinata moaned and made tons of other utterly adorable noises as Kageyama made sweet passionate love with him deep into the night.
