Walking down the toy aisle of Walmart, Addilyn spots a brunette standing by herself at the end of it with an air horn in her hand.

Grinning mischievously and abandoning her task of finding her cousin a birthday present, Addilyn happily sprints towards the lone girl.

"I'm Addilyn and I have a feeling we're going to be good friends," she states, grabbing a can of silly string. "What are we doing?"

Jumping back to avoid being caught by passersby, the girl turns around and smirks.

"I'm Aurora," she answers. "And we are going to attack Caramel when she comes this way in just a moment."

Not questioning who Caramel was, Addilyn pops the lid on her can and gets in position behind Aurora.

Mere moments later, another girl who appears to be slightly younger than Addilyn, rounds the corner, calling for Aurora. In reply, Aurora and Addilyn give loud battle cries, followed by the shrill blast of an air horn and purple silly string.

Caramel shrieks, jumping away from the chaos. "Aurora! You can't get us banned from Walmart too!"

"Says who?" Aurora asks, her smirk growing. "My new friend sees nothing wrong with it."

Addilyn smiles and waves as Caramel notices her presence. "I quite like the idea of getting kicked out. I've been trying for years and nothing seems to do the trick."

"Fine," the girl gives in with a sigh. "At least I tried. I'm Carmen, by the way."

"Addilyn."

"Are you single?" Aurora randomly asks, sipping on her frappe as she, Carmen, and I walk into the Walmart parking lot after being escorted out.

Addilyn hesitates, rubbing the back of her neck nervously. "Yeah. Why do you ask?"

Aurora simply winks in response before skilling over to the red Corvette I'm parked next to.

Carmen shakes her head. "It's best not to ask questions."

"We need to go, Caramel!" Aurora exclaims, laying on the horn. "Jonah and Zach are going to have heart attacks if we leave them alone much longer."

Carmen bids Addilyn a goodbye and climbs into the passenger seat as Aurora climbs back out of the car.

Hugging Addilyn tightly, Aurora steps back and hands her her own phone. "I grabbed this earlier to get your number. You should consider putting a password on it."

Addilyn stares at the girl, slightly taken aback by her straightforwardness.

"Also, clear your schedule for tomorrow."

Addilyn's smile broadens. "Only if you promise to get us kicked out of wherever you're dragging me."

"Of course!"
