The letter had finally arrived, and Kageyama was anxious. She wanted to get in, of course, but what if they rejected her? Thoughts like that couldn't help but swim up to her brain. "Hey Touko, don't be so nervous! I'm sure you aced the test!" Emalf told her with a smile. Over the few days, the mauve haired demon had warmed up to the setter and the shifter. He was actually pretty fun to be around.

"Thanks Emalf." she smiled before opening the envelope the letter was in.

"Dear Miss Kageyama:
A week ago, you had taken the transfer exam.
We are happy to tell you that you have aced the entrance exam with flying colours.
We are more than honoured of having you attend our school.
We have sent your new uniform in the box.
Tomorrow you will start your new life in Shiratorizawa Private Academy.
Our warmest welcome
Shiratorizawa Private Academy."

Kageyama's eyes started watering. "I passed... I really passed..." she sobbed. Emalf brought her into a hug, gently rubbing her back. Kurai smiled, watching the scene from a far. Sure, he still doesn't fully trust the demon, but he's starting to.

"Come on, let's unpack the uniform and then go out to celebrate." the shifter suggested, jumping down from his seat. The other two nodded.

"Can I try it on?" the setter asked, fidgeting with her fingers.

"Of course! I bet you'll look wonderful." Emalf beamed, giving her a thumbs up. The girl nodded before carefully picking up the box and going to her room.

"I'm so glad she passed." the mauve haired demon smiled "She deserves to have something good happen to her." the shifter couldn't agree more with him. Kageyama had gone through a lot. She unfairly got kicked out of the team, she found one of the few people she respects laying half dead, she found out her world was getting invaded... She deserved to receive some good news.

The girl adjusted the pastel blue blazer to her liking. It was a bit tight around the chest area, but she could live with it. What troubled her was the bow. Unlike Karasuno's uniform's red bow, this one was a bit more complex. But she managed to not mess it up. She looked at herself in the mirror.

Her skin was still pale, but at least her hair wasn't as messy as a few days ago. Her eyes were still the same. It made her wonder why they were like that. Maybe they had always been like that. Or maybe...

She shook her head. She didn't want to think about what happened in middle school or at Karasuno. Not today. "Touko-san! Are you finished?" she heard Kurai yell from the kitchen. Putting on the gray jersey, she sent one glance to the mirror before smiling. She slowly walked down the stairs, unintentionally adding a little dramatic effect.

"Waaah! You look gorgeous!" Kurai awed, happy for his best friend. The setter couldn't help but smile at the compliment.

"Purple really does suit you." Emalf pointed out, eyeing the uniform closely. The raven just shrugged, not really caring about that.

"Alright! Let's go and celebrate!" Kurai cheered, making the other two smile. Kageyama couldn't have chosen better people to be with.

"Iwa-chan, why did you do that?! We both knew how dangerous it was!" Oikawa questioned. Both him and Iwaizumi were in the setter's home, as the training camp had finally finished. He sounded like a d. The ace just looked down.

"I... I didn't want you guys to get hurt..." she mumbled, her hand slowly made it's way to her bandaged arm. Oikawa sighed, pulling her close to him. In normal circumstances, the girl would have punched him or pushed him away, but right now, that warmth and comfort was exactly what she needed.

"Even so, you knew you weren't going to be able to beat him. And yet you decided to risk your luck and try to fight him." the setter stated, making her nod.

"The worst part is that I haven't fought him before. You know, before I was born again. I never saw him. The only people I fought from the Flame World were Poemi, Emalf, Rieta and Ivlis." she commented, and Oikawa could practically feel the confusion and panick in her voice. As if she was scared that Ivlis had recruited stronger people.

"I know. But I'm sure you and Touko-chan will find a way to beat him again. You did it once, you can do it again." he tried to lighten the mood. However, Iwaizumi wasn't buying it.

"As much as I would want to think that, I doubt it. You saw how the fight left me. Cormac would have killed me if it wasn't for him getting sucked back into the portal." she let out, frustrated. Oikawa sighed.

"Let me see your wings so I can take care of them." he told her. The girl flinched. She didn't know how he knew her wings were also injured, but there was no point in hiding it. She slowly unbuttoned her shirt, only staying in her bra. Then, she spread out her wings, which were full of cuts and blood.

"Please be careful." she asked, looking away. The brunette couldn't help but smile when he saw her cheeks were slightly pink.

"I will!" he sang.
