"Do you have everything?" Kurai asked, nervous. Kageyama let out a small laugh.

"Kurai, I have everything. My books, my notebooks, my pencil case..." she numbered, trying to get the shifter to relax. Because, honestly, he sounded like a troubled parent when their child was going to start school for the first time.

(Doesn't it remind you of a certain mom? One that goes by Inko? No?)

"Sorry... I'm just-"

"Nervous, right? Don't worry Kurai, I'll be fine." Kageyama cut him off. The shifter remained silent. The setter waved both him and the demon goodbye before she left her home.

"Come on dude. I'm sure she'll be fine. She isn't a child." Emalf commented, rolling his eyes. Kurai shot him a glare.

"I know that!" he huffed "I'm just... worried for her. I don't want her to suffer through the same thing she did with Karasuno." he admitted, looking to the floor. Emalf couldn't help but stare at him. He had all the rights to be worried.

"I doubt that would happen." the demon started, making the shifter look to him "I mean, why would they hate someone that just transferred there? Unless they're really dumb, or just egocentric, they would first get to know her." he explained. Kurai just blankly stared at him.

"You scare me. Go back to your dumb self." he deadpanned.

"HEY, COME ON!"

Kageyama finally arrived at Shiratorizawa. She had taken a train to get there, and it had been a long ride. But it was worth it. Her stomach started churning. She was nervous, very nervous. But could you blame her though? She didn't want to go through the same thing twice.

She shook her head, finally deciding to step inside. As soon as she did, she felt like if she was in a whole different world. This place was far more different than Karasuno. And she knew. Both her and Hinata had seen it from the outside. But they hadn't seen the inside. She felt like if she was in a castle.

The halls were spotless and shining, way more different than what she was used to. The walls were a porcelain white, with an occassional board with announcements.

'This place is... amazing...' she thought, amazed. She was then greeted by a man in his mid thirties. He had dark brown hair which was slick back and shaved on the sides, and dark orange eyes. He wore a black suit. "You must be Kageyama Touko, correct?" he asked politely. The young girl nodded.

"My names is Shiragiya Kaito, and I'm the principal of this school. I am honoured to have such a brilliant student like you transfer here." he introduced himself, bowing down. Kageyama felt her cheeks burn at the compliment.

"O-Oh, uh, I-I'm more than happy to have transferred here." she stammered, bowing down too. Kaito chuckled.

"Don't be so nervous, young one. I don't bite." he joked. The setter didn't find it funny. There were a few seconds of akward silence before Kaito fake coughed.

"A-Anyways, I'll show you around the school." he said, starting to walk. The raven haired girl trailed after him.

The tour in question wasn't very long, it only took them 10 minutes, since Kageyama knew some parts of the school when she had visited it with Hinata.

Hinata. At the thought of the energetic ginger, she felt her eyes watering. Probably, one of the people who hurt her the most when the team turned their backs, was most definitely Hinata. Luckily, Kaito didn't notice. "And that's really it. Any questions?" speaking of Kaito. She watched as he turned around with a smile on his face.

"Not really." she answered. The principal nodded.

"Alright! Here's your dorm key, your class and your schedule. I really hope you enjoy your highschool year here." he said with a smile. The teen nodded. The two then started walking towards her new class. Oh boy, this was going to be rollercoaster.

Goshiki just played with his pencil, bored. He wasn't paying attention in class. His mind was only focused on volleyball. Since the Interhigh was close, he wanted to train his hardest. "Mr. Goshiki, could you solve problem number 12?" the teacher asked, making him flinch. Everyone's attention was on him.

"Uh- I... Uh-" he stammered, trying to find something to answer. The teacher just raised his eyebrow, waiting for him to say something. Luckily for our future ace, they heard a knock on the door. The teacher went to answer it.

"You got lucky man." his seatmate whispered. The volleyball player just nodded. His heart was beating very fast. Guess that's what happens when you don't pay attention.

(Learn from Goshiki and pay attention in class everyone. Don't want to be failing ;-;)

"Alright everyone, settle down. I have an announcement to make." the teacher called, getting everyone's attention. Not wanting for the same thing to happen again, Goshiki straightened up, ready to pay attention this time.

"We're having a transfer student joining us this year." he started, and almost inmediately, everyone started whispering "Quiet down." they did as they were told "So, I want you all to give her a warm welcome and make her feel accepted." he said in a serious tone. A girl walked inside when the teacher did a hand motion. She wrote her name on the chalkboard, everyone having their eyes on her.

"My name is Kageyama Touko. A pleasure to be your classmate." she spoke before bowing down. Goshiki just watched as she was told to seat next to a girl whose name he doesn't remember.
