Gina's POV

I sighed for the umpteenth time now.

Ugh!, I hate this place.

Nobody had told me anything since I woke up now, my memory hadn't even glitched for a second since the last time, which has been one week ago now.

I can't believe it, two weeks gone and I've done literally nothing since then, not even a bath!.

'Well.....we could go check for a lake or river so you could take a bath. That would be the very first step for our escape if you think about it, at least you'd have an excuse to scout this area....what do you think?'.

Well what other choice do I have?.

I took a sniff of my shirt and nearly puked.

So that's the rotten fish I've been smelling all day.
God!....I stink so bad.

I immediately stood up and made to the nearest person I saw, a woman who looked to be in her mid thirties.

When I met up with her, she scrunched her nose with distaste and pushed me a little bit farer.
She looked at me in disbelief and scrunched her face in distortion along with her nose.

"Goodness!, don't you know what a bath is?."
she looked dreaded as I took a step forward.

"Well ma'am if you don't mind, I would like to know where I can get some clean clothes."
I began walking towards her, smiling wickedly.
Finally, I had a blackmailer.

"W..What are you doing......don't come closer, my nose feels like it's about to-"
I immediately cut her off, I already knew what she wanted to say.

My nose is about to burst...ha! Just say you don't want to help.

"Well if you'll be so kind, as to show me where I can get them, I'll go as far as I'm able too."
I moved closer to her.

I could see from the corner of my eye the others closer to us held their nose to block out the smell.

I had to admit I felt bad for them, because even though I was supposed to be able to smell, my nose was nearly blocked or stenched perhaps. And I was hardly breathing properly so yeah, I do pity them.

"Okay!, Okay!.....God! get away, you can met Jason or sir Caleb, one of themwillhelpyoupleasegetaway.."

She was beginning to turn green from holding her breath too long and was on the verge of choking..
Nah..I'm just joking.
One of her hands on her lower face and using the other, she pointed to a grander and more sturdy tent with....a door?.
An actual wooden door held by cloth....Wow!.

Well done creativity...

When I turned back to the woman, I saw her run behind the rows of other tents with both of her hand on her full mouth.
I had to bite my self from laughing out loud and merely nodded and turn to leave.

I went towards the tent. While walking I looked around the other houses....uhhh tents.....and yes they were tents with doors.
Why then was mine without doors?....
What a nice way to show hospitality don't you think?.

I was still marvelled by this strange combination. The doors did look quite heavy, how then was it done?.
I leaned fort to touch them but reminded myself of my great stink as of now and it seeming ability to grab attention. So I withdrew my hands making a measureable distance from each of them.

When I reached the tent, I heard sounds from within.

"Sir, the packs scouts are much more closer to our hideout since the last time."
A sharp shrilly voice came out.
A woman I guess?.

"I suggest we... divert their attentions from our base."
A familiar voice spoke out.

"Why the hesitation Jason, that's a good suggestion?."
The shrilly voice sprang out.

"Because, we might...lose someone."
A deeper voice this time. Deeper than the rest and I noticed, was laced with authority.
That voice rang in my brain, sending shivers down my spine.
If anything, I'm pretty sure this one is the leading figure.
I guess somebody 'volunteered' to lead the rogues.

There was silence for a moment and I took it as my cue to move forward before they spoke the dreaded word

"Hey......what smells?."
The familiar voice of the man rang up.

The more frequently he spoke, the more likely he sounded like Greenie...uh I mean Jade eyes.
So he's Jason Huh?.
I still, on the other hand, prefer Greenie.

"Yeah..... I picked it before but dismissed it when no one said anything about it."
The shrilly voice mumbled.

"Goddess, It smells even worse than a dead pigs!.."
The familiar voice this time was a bit more mild than before, it must be because he was holding his breath.

Okay, at this point I was getting ashamed of my smell.
Come on, worse than a dead pigs?'.
I mean there is a reason a pig symbolizes a dirty person and I just won that award.
Imagine that!

Sigh.

I stepped out from behind the tent side and gave an awkward smile and a very weird wave, might I judge.

When they saw me, their nose picked up the smell I suppose because their eyes dilated and they muttered excuses, leaving the tent covering their noses.

The only left was a broad man with tan skin, no doubt handsome and trilling but.....nah....I just wanted a bath at this rate.

I was already embarrassed staring at him when I saw him wiggle his nose and held a handkerchief to it.

I cleared my throat and began.
"I'm looking for a certain someone... Caleb to be precise."

"And to what may I have this unpleasant visit?."

That voice, the deeper one that sounded like an Alphas'

"I need some clean clothes as you can see and a lady pointed this place for assistance."

I held back a giggle in my throat when I remembered the poor woman.

"Oh I doubt a set of clean clothes or even a bath can fix your problem, and I'm not about to waste out resources for a wannabe escape rogue."
He frowned, his gaze scrutinizing my every move.

Wait....what's his problem?...

"That's a vague thing coming from you."

"What....who do you-"

I rudely shut him off intentionally.
"We both know who has the problem here.....unless you're not aware."
I faked a gasp.
"oh....poor guy."

He clenched his fist, and a vein rose in anger.
"How dare you speak to me in that manner?."
His tone rising in anger.

"Why, it's not like you're an Alpha or anything?.
As far as I'm concerned, there is no Alpha here."

"Well little lady, I am the leader here....and if I say you leave, believe me you leave."
He stopped and glared at me.
"We should have left you for the real rogues to kill you, saving you was a mistake on our part."

As I closed in on him, a throb pulsated in my head.
My stomach felt hollow and empty, my heart thumped audibly in my ears.

That's strange.

Since when do rogues have Alph...I mean leaders?.

"Excuse me......you saved me?!...this is not saving."
Using my hand to point at myself from head to toe and back up
"This is not saving. Besides it's not like I asked you to save me anyway. Maybe you should have left me with the real rogues, at least if I would have died, I would have died simple and short. Not like here where I might either die from germ infections or an arrogant make believe leader.
Not only your credibility is to be questioned but also your persona?.
Some leader you are.... "

I know I should be grateful for the save but I'm not going to give him that benefit, this guy doesn't seem like someone that just sees and just save them. I mean look at that face, so handsome yet so deadly.
What?!....don't judge me people. And seriously don't judge a person by their features.....wait not....that doesn't sound right......is it a person or a personality.....well it's either of them...
Besides, I get an ominous chill from his demeanor. His aura seems full?.

He banged his fist on the table that squeaked under the pressure then he pointed to me and then to the door, indicating I get out.

I restrained a flinch that nearly showed on me and narrowed my eyes darkly, standing my ground. If this guy thinks he can order others like this, well not me!.

I rested my weight on my left hip and crossed my arms on my chest, raising an eyebrow.

"I need clothes....I've said this before, I wouldn't be here otherwise. Your presence is certainly not as pleasant as you think."
I shielded the meekness that was growing in my voice to a deadpanned. I wanted him to feel shaken...and to do that I had to be as tough and impassive as possible.

"Well since you're as sure as a stone, why don't you stay dirty?, it doesn't seem to bother you."
He commented in a huff.

"Well, if you haven't noticed, it does too...so much for a leader.
Or are you just saying this cause you're too stingy to give?...."

Sure as a stone......I mean what leader speaks like that.

"How could I?, how could you differ the smell of your body from that of your personality?, so if you don't mind I'd very much like a clean breath of air, you stink as hell."

Sigh!, sigh!, sigh!.
This guy doesn't give up does he?
I need to up my game!!

"Unlike you my sense of smell works perfectly fine. Gosh, enough of your blunders, just give me those damn clothes!."
I sighed, massaging my temples. He growled.
"Is it the language I'm speaking?, Is it foreign to you?. If you want I could give you some leading tips, because trust me sweetheart, you suck at this. And this is my first day of meeting you, Geez."

"Why you!" He reached out to hit me which I dodged in time for him to stumble, almost falling face down.

I let out a hysterical and mocking chuckle
"Tsk... What a leader, can't even defend himself, how then his very own people, I'd even make a better leader than you don't you think?."

He growled as his shoulders shook vehemently and I laughed maniacally.

"Gotta go......your highness."
Then I let out a loud maniac and mischievous laugh.

Ohh Goddess...., finally something interesting.

I took a few steps away from his tent, and realization dawned hard on me.
I facepalmed hard.

Gosh, still no clothes!
