Angel very reluctantly becomes Rin's second dad and grows to care for him very slowly. Angel and Lewin get together. Now Rin has gay dads and a boyfriend. What more could he want?

Rin has a hard time dealing with it, in all honesty. It's always been just him and Lightning, training, always getting stronger. He didn't have a childhood and Lightning wasn't exactly a normal Dad. Or a Dad at all, for that matter. Having Angel care about him and  letting the Tool of an Arc Knight date his dad was hard. Rin, unlike Lightning, tended to care about people even if they didn't care about him.

Why Angel signed himself up to probably have his heart destroyed by Rin's heartless maniac of a mentor, the half-demon had no clue. But maybe things could be different. Maybe Angel couldake Lightning feel something. Maybe that was why the man had said yes to dates with the blond.

Maybe Rin could have actual parents. It was never too late to fix things until something unforgivable happened. Rin didn't blame anyone but his mother for his screwed up life. Lightning was simply doing his job raising Rin to be a weapon.

Maybe things could be better than okay. Maybe they could be nice.

Rin really hoped Angel knew what he was doing.
