Wolfpaw's pov

The day after Ackleyfire had become a warrior was havoc. Mayhem. Mayhem. Mayhem. No one was agreeing with each other. Wirepaw and Branchgaze and the others still weren't back and they promised they'd be back in one or two sunrises and by moon-high. And it was just passed moon-high and they weren't back. The crispy cold air was running along Wolfpaw's spine and she cuddled up to Cinderpaw who was in a little ball next to the nursery. Wolfpaw was happy hearing that Lindsaystream was expecting her first litter. Phoenixclaw was already hanging out with the older warriors. Cinderpaw's warmth rippled through Wolfpaw's pelt. He licked her head as he got up. Smiling he padded out of the camp, beckoning Wolfpaw to come with him. She slowly got up, anxiety creeping in her stomach.

Go away. Wolfpaw shooed away her anxiousness as she got out of the den.

What? Someone responded in her head.

She had just remembered that she hadn't said it in her own head. Uh, that wasn't to you Honeypaw. She bit her lip and padded out of camp.

"Come back for battle training later, you'll be getting assessed sometime in the next few sunrises." A mew startled Wolfpaw and she turned around to see Acaciaseed, her mentor, padding to the fresh kill pile. Wolfpaw nodded as she raced out of camp. Billyshiver has come back with a patrol consisting of Tilleypaw, Ackleyfire, Tulipvine, Droppaw and Sunriseflow. Billyshiver and Sunriseflow were padding with their heads down, still sad from all the loses of their friends and clanmates. Wolfpaw sympathised for them as she ran out of camp and followed Cinderpaw. He ran towards the river on the left of the camp. Wolfpaw struggled to catch up to him and when she did, she jumped onto him and bowled him over, batting her sheathed forepaw at his head. He laughed and breathed in hard as he looked up. The two had got close since the battle with The Assassins. They had gone out most days together and just sat near the river for a while. Cinderpaw heaved her off with a big effort and she fell on her back. They both snuggled up together to watch the clouds.

"That ones you, small and cute." Cinderpaw mewed and stretched his paw to point at a small puff in the sky. Wolfpaw giggled and looked for a cloud that was like Cinderpaw. her eyes trailed the sky as she looked for one, but she found herself frown. A stench wafted in the air. She sat up and looked around. All was quiet, water was rushing from the stream, water sprayed from the river and fell onto the mossy ground, gurgling of cats struggling to get out, cats were stuck in the river!!

"C'mon, come help." Wolfpaw ran to the side of the river and looked into the freezing water. it took a while for Wolfpaw to register who they were.

Oh, no, Branchgaze, Yinpaw! Ombrépaw. no. Wirepaw.... she trailed off. She heard a splash and looked to see Cinderpaw getting in himself.

"What're you doing?!" Wolfpaw screeched softly as she didn't want to alert anything or anyone.

"I'll push them up while you grab their scruff." Cinderpaw, who was already chattering, started to swim over to the others.

Hazelpaw's pov

Hazelpaw sat in camp next to Wrenpaw. Cedarpaw was sitting near Wrenpaw too, her tail flicking nervously. Hazelpaw could tell someone liked someone. Hazelpaw smirked as Cedarpaw smiled cutely at Wrenpaw. Tilleypaw and Ackleyfire were yet nowhere to be seen. Same with Wolfpaw and Cinderpaw and Honeypaw and Sparrowpaw.

Everyone likes someone here! We'll have to go back to FallenClan soon, right? Hazelpaw shook her head, finding herself muttering random words. She got up and bumped into Cinderpaw who had just come back with herbs.

"Sorry." She muttered and padded into the apprentices' den. Islandpaw, Unitedpaw, Lunarpaw, Colouredpaw and Droppaw were in the den, sharing tongues. Hazelpaw could see Simmerpaw, Briarpaw and Brackenpaw by the nursery, going in and out of it with herbs and cobwebs. Lindsaystream has moved into the nursery as her kits were expected earlier than everyone thought. They were due anytime during the next few sunrises and she was freaking out a little. Hazelpaw saw all the apprentices except for Lunarpaw - who were in the den - slowly back away and move away from her like she was a scary monster.

If you have a problem then tell me to my face, not to your head. Bird-brains. She huffed and lay her head on her paws and silently closed her eyes. Echos flew through the air. Hazelpaw lay her chin on her paws and looked out of the den. Drifting into a light sleep, Hazelpaw was tossed around like an unbalanced storm. Am i in the stars? What's this place?

The endless void of darkness made Hazelpaw feel uncomfortable. The tossing of the wind and the screeches of cats. Hazelpaw flattened her ears to try block some of the noise out. Her stomach tightened and she felt as if she'd been knocked to the head, woken up, knocked out again but barely woke up the next time. Through the pain and tears in her eyes, she managed to look at another cat that was doing something off in the distance.

Her muscles screaming, she managed to stand up and weakly head over to the cat. It turned around to reveal its face, it's brown and black striped body. It's hazel eyes were clouded with an unreadable expression. Trying to register the cat in front of her, she heard it speak in an uneven tone.

Y-you left us! H-how could y-you! I always thought that you would go with Starlingpaw, Almondpaw, Sparrowpaw and Cinderpaw and get lost in the forest to be found by AuroraClan! Why did you though! I trusted you. Did you leave because you didn't think you belonged in FallenClan. Oh what have Duskstar and i done! Cherrybriar, Hailmask, Cedarshine and Crowleap tried to go out and find you. Willowpaw, Mallowpaw, Ashenpaw, Webpaw and Sableleap went out with Pineflight and Yewsong to try and find you. Why didn't you come and see me earlier. The brown she cat with black stripes turned her head to the right so she was facing away from her. Look down there. This is what's happening now. What's happening because you aren't there. Because you left. The she cat pointed her tail down to the cats. Hazelpaw instantly recognised her clanmates, Willowpaw, Yewsong Cherrybriar, Duskstar, Bearkit, Jaywind and Turtlekit. They were on the ground, panting with effort, panting like they'd tried to outrun something.

"I don't understand?!" Hazelpaw wailed silently.

The she cat turned and sneered at her. My apprentice, Hazelpaw, you see, it's just another river of blood......the rains going to fall soon, you know, destruction. Fear, torn apart, morning won't come no longer, night will take over, do something about it, and don't come back until you have! Now go!

"I still don't get it......" Hazelpaw looked at the ground as the world vanished and AuroraClan's camp appeared. She sat up abruptly.

"Come quick!"

"I'm coming!"
