I rubbed my temples as I kicked the front door shut behind me. I hadn't slept well the last few nights, my mind racing to try and figure out how Jimin and Yoongi know each other. It was making me anxious to even invite Jimin to visit me on his lunch break, in the fear that he might run into Yoongi on his way over.

I had hardly even seen Yoongi the past few days. I would see him cleaning up sometimes in the mornings or evenings as I was arriving or leaving. It was unusual for him to work more hours than me, but his tattoo business is probably picking up. I was happy for him. He seemed to have a rough time in his life, despite him not telling me any details. His eyes displayed sadness, anger, desperation, heart break.

He had told me as I was paying him for the tattoos that he doesn't believe in love. It made me curious as to what, or rather whom, ruined him enough to make him not believe in something as magical and wonderful as love. It saddened me. I knew I had to help him realize what it is like to at least love something, or someone. It became a sort of goal of mine. But I hadn't talked to him since, too nervous to find out about his past with Jimin.

"Hoseok! You're home early."

I shrugged at my roommate. "I didn't sleep well, so my head hurts."

Jin instantly grabbed my shoulders and guided me to the couch. "Oh my poor baby! Why aren't you sleeping?"

I debated whether I wanted to tell him about what happened. It shouldn't bother me as much as it is. I love Jimin. I trust him. But why am I questioning him so much lately?

I broke down and told Jin about their awkward interaction, the older listening intently, nodding his head every now and then to acknowledge that he was still listening. After I finished, I looked at him as I nervously bit my lip. He nodded his head without looking at me, obviously thinking.

"Jin? What do you think I should do?"

After a moment, he sighed heavily and clapped me on the shoulder. "You need to talk to him." He stood up from the couch, making me panic. ! At the Disco. "I will head over to Joonie's while you and Jimin discuss here. He's supposed to be here in a few minutes anyway. It's movie night at our place like it is every week."

"Shit. I forgot about movie night." I dropped my head and shoulders onto the back of the sofa, closing my eyes. "Do I really have to?"

I heard the front door close, making me frown. I opened my eyes and got up to search the apartment, only to find that Jin had left me alone.

"Baby! How are you?" Jimin greeted me like always as he walked into my apartment.

I smiled and answered. "I'm tired."

His eyebrows furrowed together. "Why?"

I motioned for him to sit down on the couch, and he did with the same look on his face. I took a minute to collect myself before opening my mouth to speak. "I need to know how you know Yoongi."

Jimin's eyes grew wide as he shook his head, his body growing stiff. "You don't actually. It's in the past."

"It's driving me crazy Jimin! And I hate to say this, but if you don't tell me what happened, then I'll just have to ask Yoongi."

Jimin shrugged. "I doubt he would tell you either." His tone was sharp, but his posture and voice softened after a moment. "It's really none of your concern, babe. Now, shall we get started with our movie? You can pick while I heat up the popcorn!" He hopped off the couch before I could react and skipped off to the kitchen.
