3 months later:

Anika was grocery shopping with Kiara.

K- Mom, can we buy these chocolates too?

Kiara made a puppy face and Anika chuckled at her.

A- okay, my lil princess.

When Kiara called Anika 'Mom' for the first time after their surgery, Anika and Shivaay were overwhelmed with happiness. Kiara told them that no matter what, Shivaay and Anika were her real parents. Shivaay and Anika legally adopted her as their daughter.

A- Okay. We are done here.

Anika announced to Kiara as they were done shopping. Kiara's eyes widened and she started thinking of a plan to stop her Mom from going home as her dadda was planning a surprise for her mom.

K- Mom, I'm hungry. Can we go to McDonald's?

A- Aww. My baby is hungry. Cmon lets go.

Anika paid the bill and took her to Mcdonalds. She ordered two burgers and two chocolate milkshakes for themselves.

K- Mumma, do you love dadda?

Anika was stunned by her question and blushed a little.

A- yes baby. I love your Dadda very much. Why do you ask?

Kiara smiled widely.

K- Because Dadda loves you too.

Anika blushed and chuckled.

A- And how do you know that?

K- Because Dadda said so.

Kiara said with a chuckle and Anika chuckled too.

A- Oh really! My angel has become so naughty.

Kiara blushed and Anika turned aww on her cuteness.

Kiara saw time on Anika's watch and her eyes widened.

K- Mumma, I want to go home. I'm not hungry anymore.

Anika frowned at her.

A- But angel, you haven't eaten anything.

Anika said and Kiara started pulling Anika with her.

K- Let's goooooo.

A- Okay. Okay.

Anika made Kiara sit on the backseat and she herself settled on the driving seat and drove towards home.

When they reached home, Anika helped Kiara out of the car and they went inside.

It was totally dark inside the house.

A- Arey! Where is Shivaay? Why is it so dark here?

Anika was confused and switched on the lights and was shocked to see the sight in front of her.

The house was decorated with red and white balloons and roses with a big banner of "Will You Marry Me" and Shivaay was sitting on his one knee with a ring in his hand.

A- Shivaay?

S- Anika, I know our first meet wasn't very happy and we suffered a lot. I thought that you're a rich brat and was unfair to you. Our wedding was also not ideal and happy but I can say that our marriage was perfect and lovely. You are the best wife a man can have. I was a fool to not to realise it earlier but I love you. You were there for me when I had nothing and Kiara had noone. You were always my backbone. I couldn't even think of a life without you. So will you marry me, please?

Shivaay made a puppy face and Anika chuckled at him with teary eyes.

A- Yes, you idiot. I thought you'd never ask.

Anika chuckled and Shivaay laughed too while Kiara was beaming with happiness.

Shivaay was about to her wear the ring when anika stopped him.

A- Shivaay, i can't take off this ring. This was your mother's blessing for us.

Anika said and Shivaay Smiled at her concern.

S- I know. That's why I bought this wedding band so that you can wear them both.

Shivaay made her wear the wedding band and Anika admired it.

A- its beautiful.

Suddenly, Kiara jumped on them and Shivaay scooped her up in his arms and Kiara wrapped her one arm around Shivaay and another arm around Anika's neck and brought them closer.

K- Yaay! My Mumma and Dadda are getting married.

Kiara squealed in happiness and Shivika just admired their little munchkin.
