Next day, Anika went to her Raizada mansion to had a final talk with her 'so called' parents.

Anika rang the doorbell and their 60 year old maid, Maria opened the door. As soon as Suzy looked at Anika, she smiled widely.

M- Anika madam, you? It's so good to see you. You are glowing.

Maria said with excitement and Anika smiled.

A- Maria aunty, how are you?

M- I'm good. How are you?

A- As you can see, happy and glowing.

Anika said and Maria smiled.

M- Sir and madam are waiting for you.

Maria said nervously and Anika nodded her head.

A- where are they?

M- Backyard.

Anika nodded her head and went to the backyard where she saw her parents sitting and having tea.

A- So why did you call me?

Adhiraj and Sangeeta exchanged looks and looked at her with a smirk.

Ad- Just wanted to have a little chat with our daughter.

Anika looked at him with a frown.

A- If you're forgetting then let me tell you we don't chat, like ever.

Sa- But this is important. For you. For us. For your good for nothing family.

Sangeeta said with a smirk and Anika glared at her.

A- Don't you dare speak ill about my family. I'm warning you.

Ad- Okay. Calm down. Sit.

Anika sat on the chair, opposite to theirs.

A- Can you make it fast? I've to be somewhere.

Anika said with a bored voice and Adhiraj and Sangeeta smirked at their plan.

Adhiraj forwarded two files to Anika and Anika frowned in Confusion.

Anika opened the file and saw pictures of Kiara, at school, at playground, when they went for ice-cream treat. It had all records of her since last 15 days.

A- You're following Kiara. How dare you? Why are you even doing this?

Ad- Check the next file.

Anika opened the next file and was shocked to see Shivaay's job termination papers which were not approved yet and another paper said that Shivaay will be banned from race track. This means he couldn't race ever or work in a racing sector.

A- You can't do this. Racing is Shivaay's life. You can't take it from him.

Anika said with teary eyes.

Ad- You're smart. So we had our men following your orphan kid everywhere so you could agree to our terms otherwise we won't take a second before kidnapping that kid and sending off to some orphanage or some worst place. And if you don't agree to us, we have the power to finish your so-called husband's career in seconds.

A- Why are you doing this? Can't you see your own daughter happy for once?

Anika said in a breaking voice.

Sa- You were a mistake. We never wanted a baby. You were harmful to both of our careers but still I gave you birth so that you'll be useful to us in future, if we face any business loss and today we are facing it. We wanted you to support us but you ran off to some broke racer, who is even paralyzed.

Sangeeta said bitterly and tears were continuously flowing from Anika's eyes.

A- I won't be a pawn in your hands. Finally, I'm happy in my life and I won't let you two snatch it from me. I won't let you harm my family.

Ad- You have to. My business partner wants his son to marry you and then only he'll invest in our company so you have to marry his son. These are the divorce papers. Sign them and get over with your stupid relationship. You're getting married in a week. I've already talked to a lawyer so your divorce won't take much time.

Adhiraj said calmly and Anika was seething in anger.

A- I SAID I WON'T DO ANYTHING LIKE THIS.

Anika shouted angrily and Adhiraj looked at her with a smirk.

Ad- If I remember your so called husband and that kid went out on a ice-cream treat. They are standing on the side of the road, buying icecream and accidents can happen everywhere. What if a car runs over them?

Anika looked at him with horror.

A- You won't.

She immediately dialled Shivaay's number and he answered the call after few rings.

A- Shivaay, where are you?

S- I and kiara are here to buy ice cream. Are you done with meeting your paren.... KIARA.....

Shivaay shouted over the phone and Anika got worried.

A- Shivaay.., hello..... Shiv.... Shivaay..... What happened?..... Hello....

Anika was asking frantically on the phone but there was no answer.

After few minutes, Shivaay answered again while panting.

S- Hello.

A- What happened? Are you and kiara fine?

S- Yeah, we're fine. Some mad driver was speeding his car towards the footpath and Kiara was in the way but soon it passed by us thankfully. Don't worry. We're fine.

Shivaay explained her the situation and she looked at Adhiraj, who was already looking at her with a smirk.

A- Please take care. I'll be home soon.

Anika said and disconnected the call.

A- You both are monsters. How could you?

Anika said Meekly as she didn't have any energy left to fight them.

Ad- We don't care what you think about us. We just care about our money and lifestyle and you're the key to that. So now be a good girl or you know the consequences.

Adhiraj kept the divorce papers to her.

Anika looked at them. She was remembering all the moments she has spent with Shivaay and Kiara. The love and care they shared with each other. She couldn't lose them, even if she has to stay away from them.

Anika took the papers and looked at it.

A- Okay. I'll do what you're asking but you have to promise me that you won't harm Shivaay and Kiara. Please.

Her heart was shattering into pieces in that moment.

Adhiraj and Sangeeta exchanged a smirk.

Sa- We promise. We expect you to shift back here in the evening.

Sangeeta said and Anika nodded her head.

Anika silently stood up and held the papers tightly in her hold. She started walking out of the house.

She settled at the driver's seat of her car and started sobbing loudly. Her cries of pain were echoing in the car. She was broken beyond repair.
