Adhiraj and Sangeeta were sitting in their living room Worriedly.

Sa- Adhiraj, what are we going to do? This deal is very important Otherwise we'll go bankrupt.

Ad- That's why I'm worried, Sangeeta. We have birth to our daughter, raised her so that when she gets older, she'll help us in making our business succesful. But this girl turned out to be so stupid that she got married to some useless car racer and raising his child.

Sa- I never thought that Anika would turn out to be so useless.

Sangeeta said while rolling her eyes and sipping her green tea.

Ad- We have to do something. That girl is an emotional fool and we'll take advantage of that. It seems that she's got really attached to that handicapped man and that orphan. Now we'll use her weakness and she'll come running to us.

Adhiraj and Sangeeta smirked at their plan.

Anika was helping Kiara with her homework.

K- Doll, why can we see sun only in day?

Anika smiled at her.

A- Because the earth rotates and when it faces away from the sun, it turns dark and it is night, when the earth faces towards the sun, it becomes day.

Anika explained her calmly and Kiara nodded her head in understanding.

A- okay baby. Your science homework is done. Now complete your art homework. I'll go and make dinner.

Anika said while caressing her head.

Anika walked out of Kiara's room and was  about to go to kitchen when Shivaay pulled her inside their bedroom.

Anika was shocked for a while and then her eyes got locked with Shivaay who was looking at her with admiration.

A- Shivaay, what are you doing? I've to go and cook dinner.

S- Don't worry. I'll help you with that. For now, I've to say something.

Shivaay pulled her with her waist and Anika gasped.

S- Anika, when I met with that accident, I lost hope for my life, for Kiara's life but you came for us like an angel. You gave us hope, love and care. I know that you caused that accident but trust me, it wasn't your fault. I think it was just fate, which brought us together. Let me tell you, I never hated you. I tried, very hard but failed miserably. I thought that you were some spoilt brat, but the more I got to know about you, the more I realised that you're also broken like me, like kiara. And then I realised that you're the missing piece of our incomplete puzzle. Anika, I want us to be a family. Like real family. Will you give us a chance?

Shivaay confessed his feelings towards her. Anika's eyes were now filled with tears.

A- You both complete me. How can I leave you both? You both filled the space in my life which I never knew existed. Shivaay, you don't have to ask me, you and kiara are my family.

Anika said and Shivaay Smiled widely. He pulled her in a hug and Anika hugged him back.

Their moment was broken by Kiara, who came running into their room with a paper in her hand.

K- Doll, Look i completed my art homework. Teacher asked me to draw a picture of me and my mother. Look what I did i draw?

Kiara showed a hand painted drawing to Anika.

Anika sat down on her knees to match Kiara's height and looked at the beautiful painting.

K- This is me and this is you. I never saw my mumma but i know that She would've loved me like you. You always love me like my Mumma.

Kiara said and Anika's eyes got filled with tears. Shivaay's eyes welled up as well at their bond.

Anika immediately hugged kiara.

A- It's very beautiful, baby. I'm very lucky to have you in my life. I love you, my princess.

K- I love you too, doll.

They both hugged and suddenly they heard gurgling sound.

Anika broke the hug and looked at Kiara as her stomach grumbled again.

They all burst into laughter.

A- Oh my baby is hungry.

Anika said while tickling her stomach and picked her up in her arms. Kiara giggled.

A- Let's go and feed this little tummy.

Anika said and they headed towards kitchen and Shivaay followed them.

Anika was cooking dinner with the help of Shivaay when her phone started ringing.

She looked at the caller ID and rolled her eyes as it was her dad. She ignored the call four times when Shivaay asked her to answer the call thinking if there was some emergency.

Anika finally answered the call.

A- Yes dad. What do you want now?

Ad- I want to meet you.

A- I'm not interested.

Ad- Look Anika. It's very important. Its about Shivaay and his kid.

Anika frowned and asked.

A- What about them?

Ad- You'll get to know. Meet us at our mansion tomorrow at 1 pm. Make sure you come alone.

Before Anika could say anything, the call ended.

Anika looked at Shivaay worriedly.

S- What happened?

A- He wants to meet me.

S- It's alright. He's still your father. I'm sure everything will be fine.

A- I hope so.

Anika said silently and Shivaay side hugged her.
