It was early morning when Anika's sleep broke. She felt some weight on her stomach. She turned to look at Shivaay, who was sleeping peacefully with his arms  wrapped around her stomach.

She smiled and pecked his forehead. Shivaay's sleep broke because of her kiss. He looked at her with a smile.

S- This morning seems to be really good.

Shivaay said with a smirk and Anika blushed.

A- I didn't knew that you were awake.

S- I'm glad that I was awake.

Shivaay said while wrapping his arms around her more tightly. Anika struggled in his arms.

A- Shivaay, leave me. I've to make breakfast. It's getting late for Kiara's school.

S- If you've forgotten, then it's Sunday today and Kiara is sleeping peacefully.

Shivaay stated as the matter of fact and rested his head in the crook of her neck. Anika smiled widely at his affection.

A- We've come a long way in our relationship.

S- Hmm. And I'm happy about that. You've really done so much for us in these 6 months. You've filled mother's place in Kiara's heart. Because of you, my condition is improving day by day and there is movement in my legs. Kiara loves you so much.

Shivaay confessed his heart feelings to her and Anika smiled.

A- and you?

S- What about me?

A- What do you feel about me?

Shivaay was startled for a moment because of her sudden question.

S- I..... I..... really adore you.

Shivaay said and Anika smiled. She knew that Shivaay was very weak at expressing his feelings and she knew his confession was a very big part of his feelings of his heart.

They laid there in each other's arms for some time.

After few moments, Anika sat up.

A- Come on. Let's get ready. Its already 9 a.m. I'll do the laundry and you go and get freshened up.

Shivaay nodded his head and went to freshen up and Anika went to wake up Kiara first.

Anika reached Kiara's room and she was sleeping cutely with her mouth little open. Anika smiled at her cuteness.

Anika sat beside her and started caressing her head softly.

A- Wake up little angel.

Anika said while pecking her forehead and  a small smile came on Kiara's lips.

K- Good morning, doll.

Kiara looked at her with a smile and Anika started peppering kisses on her face and kiara started giggling.

A- Good morning, my angel. Come on. Get freshen up and I'll make your favourite breakfast.

K- Yaaaayyyy... Pancakes.

She squealed in excitement and went to freshen up.

Anika walked towards the laundry and started putting clothes in the Washing machine. While pouring soap, she didn't realise that she dropped some soap on the floor as well.

She turned to walk towards the kitchen when she accidentally stepped on the soap and fell down with a scream.

A- AHHHHHHHHHHH...... SHIVAAAY......

She fell down and cried in pain as her foot got twisted.

Shivaay, who was combing his hair, heard Anika's scream and got extremely worried.

He tried to wheel his wheelchair but the wheel got stuck. He tried to free the wheel but all this attempts failed. He groaned in frustration and angry tears filled his eyes as he was unable to help his wife when she needed him.

He finally decided to take the matter in his own hands and try to walk.

He put his feet on the ground with much difficulty. He groaned in pain.

He stood up with the support of the chair but he couldn't balance himself and fell down on the floor. He hit the floor in anger.

He again tried and finally stood up again with the support of the wall.

He slowly walked towards the laundry with much difficulty. His legs were paining to the extreme. He reached laundry and saw Anika sitting on the floor while clutching her foot in pain.

S- Anika?

Anika looked at him and saw him standing on his feet and she forgot all her pain.

A- Shivaay, you're standing.

He then realised that he actually walked all the way to the laundry. Anika and Shivaay were looking at each other with happy tears.

At the same time, Kiara walked into the laundry room.

K- Rockstar? Doll? What happened?

Anika tried to stand up but groaned in pain and Anika stood with Kiara's and Shivaay's help.

Kiara then noticed that Shivaay was standing.

K- ROCKSTAR, YOU'RE STANDING.

She shouted in excitement and Anika & Shivaay burst into laughter.

S- Yes princess. It's because of your doll.

Kiara hugged Anika's waist and Anika caressed her head.

They walked towards the living room and Kiara made Shivaay and Anika sit on the sofa.

K- I'm calling doctor uncle.

A- baby, there's no need. I'm fine. Let me call him for Shivaay's checkup.

K- Shhh!

Kiara said while putting her finger on her lips and a frown on her forehead.

She dialled doctor's number.

K- Hello doctor uncle. Can you come and check chachu and chachi? They both hurt their three legs.

Kiara explained the situation and Shivaay & Anika were trying to control their laughter at her cuteness.

K- Okay bye. (To Shivaay and Anika) Doctor uncle is coming. Don't dare to move.

Kiara ordered them. Anika and Shivaay nodded their head in agreement.

A/S- Yes Boss.

Soon doctor arrived and first he checked Anika's foot.

D- Nothing to worry. It's just a small sprain. I've bandaged it and it'll heal in 2- 3 days but don't put too much pressure on it.

Anika nodded her head.

Doctor then started examining Shivaay.

D- Mr. Shivaay, can you please try to walk?

Shivaay nodded his head and Shivaay stood up slowly and walked slowly. His balance wasn't so good but he was able to move his both legs.

D- Come. You can sit now.

Shivaay nodded his head and settled down.

D- it's seriously an miracle. Such a fast recovery. I think everything is good. Yours legs are good to go. You might need crutches for first few weeks but then you won't even need them. You'll be as good as new. I advise some physiotherapy too.

Shivaay and Anika nodded their head. Soon doctor left.

Kiara squealed in happiness and jumped between Shivika and sat between them.

K- Yaaaaayyyyyyy.

Anika and Shivaay wrapped their arms around each other and trapped Kiara in the middle.

A- I love my family.

S/K- And we love you.

Anika Smiled and they all shared a happy family hug. They were finally Happy.

But what they didn't knew was that happiness isn't always permanent.
