lost words.

"you've got to be fucking kidding me" yoongi sighs as jimin told them yesterday's event.

"sadly, i'm not" he growls out lowly as he sees jungkook and his group of friends at the other end of the hallway. jungkook looks up, locking eyes with the other male before jimin breaks it away, leaning against the locker.

"what?" jimin blinks, looking up at his parents incredulously.

"these mens, they're from the palace and we know we should have told you this earlier but you have to get married to the crown prince"

"as in jeon jungkook? no this isn't funny okay i-"

"jimin" his father spoke up, sighing softly.

"your grandfather was a great friend to late king, and they had made a promise that his grandson will marry the crown prince of seoul" jimin runs a hand through his hair, jaw clenching.

"please jimin-ah, i know this is a lot to take in but the marriage is happening soon and you have to accept it or-"

"i can't do this right now, i'm going in my room" the silver haired stood up, walking up the stairs to his room and closing the door behind him.

he didn't get out of his room last night and jimin's parents just thought that he needed some time to comprehend things.

"but why you? for one, i know that you are fucking wealthy so i don't see a problem with that and secondly, shouldn't a crown princess be chosen instead of a crown prince?" seokjin asks as they walk down to class, passing by the black haired who stopped jimin, pulling him away form his friends.

"can we talk?"

"about what?"

"the marriage? i'm sure you've already know about it" jungkook raises a brow at him when jimin rolls his eyes.

"yeah, i do"

"well i just want to say that, you have to choose quick. when you've made a decision, i'll give you more details"

"you're such an arrogant asshole" he mumbled and jungkook glares at him, stepping closer to the silver haired.

"what did you just say?" jimin eyes him for a moment, mirroring the same look before turning around and walking away.

-

"jimin, have you made a decision dear?" his mom asks during dinner, noticing that the male was silent the whole time.

"do you know that he proposed?" the silver haired suddenly asks, frowning up at his parents.

"you're suposed to love each other if you're married but if this crown prince has feelings for another person, how is that going to work out? what if i fall in love with him amd in the end i get the heartbreak because he'll just go to the guy he loves eventhough i know it will happen" jimin grits his teeth, fury in his blood as his parents looks at him in shock.

"but, mr. jeon had told us that the prince had already accepted the wedding?" his mother furrowed her brow, setting her glass down.

"what?" jimin looks away in disbelief, that jerk, he thought.

"jimin please, you have to make a choice" the oldest male in the room said, rubbing his temple as he closes his eyes.

the male sighs in defeat, knowing that his parents really wanted him to get married to the prince and jimin doesn't have the heart to ever disappoint his parents even in the worst situations.

maybe he'll cope it in the castle? he's been a civilised person as up to now, of course he knows that life in the palace will be much difficult, having to take classes, having duties while still going to school with a silver band on his finger at a young age, and also joining in a royal family and having a royalty status in his life.

"fine, when is it?" he says dejectedly, looking up at his parents who looked at him in shock.

"really?"

"yes, mom" his lips tugs upwards a little to convince them and when he was pulled into a crushing hug, he knew he had this over with.

"it's in a week. i'll have to tell mr. jeon and his son first, i'm pretty sure they would like to meet up and talk to you too since you have already agreed to this arranged marriage" jimin nods his head before heading upstairs, falling back onto his king sized bed as he brings an arm over his eyes and groans.

-

"wow, getting married at nineteen, i wouldn't have thought"

"what?" jimin freezes in his steps once seokjin smirks up at him, waving a flyer at him. the silver haired male's eyes widen once he saw his face on the front cover, grabbing the paper away from the older male.

"you could have told us, minie" hoseok teases before pulling him into a hug. yoongi looks the younger skeptically, before his eyes trailed to a group of boys at the doorway of their class.

"park" the said male turns around, seeing jungkook standing there with his hands in his pockets while his friends lingered there waiting for him.

"a word with you?" jimin rolls his eyes at the formality but jungkook is someone from a royal family, it's a small wonder why he's so uptight and snobby.

he walks out with the other, jungkook leading them to a secluded part of the school.

"what do you want?"

"it's a surprise to see that you've accepted the marriage our parents setted up" jungkook smirks, crossing his arms as he leans against the wall.

"just so that they won't look depressed if i rejected it"

"you're coming with me to he palace after school, we need to have a talk with the king and queen" jimin hums before leaving, not even glancing back to see jungkook narrowing his eyes at him.

-

jimin huffs as students came rushing to him, asking about the news of the marriage that sparked like wild fire. some were nice, other's weren't, saying that both males won't even last long since they have barely known each other. namjoon managed to pull him away eventually, going out the school's main entry.

he sees jungkook waiting for him, that unreadable expression on his face as jimin bid his goodbye to his friends before walking off to the other male, both of them heading towards the first limousine at the front of the school, the students crowding around as the prince's guards tries to block them while both males get in the car, both vehicle driving away fast from the vicinity.

"i hope you know that this marriage is just papers and for the sake of politics. i don't know when you can divorce me, because i don't think you would like to be my husband for the rest of my life. clearly, we don't have feelings for each other so i do hope you don't start habouring feelings-"

"are you trying to tell me i will eventually fall for you? because i certainly won't" jimin glares at him, turning away to avoid anymore conversation with the male.

jimin huffs out a breath, annoyance fueling up his system as his fist clenched.

of course i won't develop feelings for him, just look at him, why would i? jimin lets his head fall back against the headrest, too tired to think about anything.

jungkook gives him a look but chose to remain silent on the ride back to the palace.
