Hey everyone and WELCOME to the SPECIAL episode of RWBY: (Genius Gamer Shadow) Ex-Aid Reader x Ruby Rose Volume 5 where we will be looking at Shadow and his short repeatitive melody sung by Isolde. So, just a recap of the disclaimer again, I DO NOT OWN RWBY AND I DO NOT OWN KAMEN RIDER EX-AID AND BUILD. RWBY is from RoosterTeeth and Kamen Rider Ex-Aid and Build is from Toei. So, enjoy the insert, sit back, and LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!!

3rd Person's POV:

It was a normal day in Mistral with the heores from the house they rented are doing their own routines of training, cooking, reading, talking and going out to shop or protect Mistral from any incoming threat.

As they were doing their routine as Huntsmen and Huntresses inside and outside the house, they hear this song coming from somewhere outside the house and this song kept repeating for some reason.

Jaune: Did you guys hear that?

Roland: Yes, Sir Arc. It sounded like....

Ren: A song?

Ruby: Wow~ this song is so smooth and soothing~ who's singing it???

Tenka: Not sure.... we just heard this when it just started.... a few seconds ago.

Mitchell: Yup.

Rachel: Diddo.

Wendolyn: Zzzzz...

Roland: Well..... at least someone is enjoying it in their sleep....

Lazarus: Well, me and Emily will check it out outside.

Rachel: Don't worry about that, Lazarus. Qrow is already on it.

Rachel implied as the small group see Qrow walking out of the house to check it out.

Tenka: Say, where's Shadow, Ruby?

Ruby: Yeah. He's out patrolling. He should be back by now but... typical boyfriend of mine will always overlook at small areas.

Rachel: That's certainly the Doc we know.

Outside the house,

Qrow looked around the house to see no one singing. However to his confusion, he kept hearing this song time and time again. Then, he thought that if he can't find the source down here, why don't go up on the roof to find it. In which he turned into a crow and flew up to the roof and searched for the source.

When Qrow reached the roof while reverting back to his human form to start searching, he hears that the song was getting louder. So, he walked on the roof slowly until--

Qrow: ... oh.

--he spotted Shadow kneeling on the roof with his aura and semblance radiating around him with none in the house to notice and feel his semblance as he kept singing in front of the sunset.

My POV:

My eyes were closed and I was on my knees as I sung a song that I heard countless of times when I slept when I was an infant. It had some benefits as this song lets me focus well and it calms me down better.

Me: Gatrandis babel ziggurat edenal~

I stopped as I sense another person standing behind me, causing me to smile.

Me: You know, it's rude to trespass while a Maiden is at his meditation-point, right... Qrow?

I asked the person who turned out to be Qrow that question which caused him to scoff a bit while smiling.

Qrow: Well, for a Huntsmen that can sing, that wouldn't call it trespass, Icepop. More like....

Me: Peeking?

Qrow: yyyyyeah????

Me: Sure you were....

I implied to Qrow.

Qrow's POV:

I went up to Shadow as I looked at him face-to-face while his aura and semblance are radiating around him.

Me: So, what made you come up here all alone, watching the sunset while si-

Just before I finished my question, I noticed something was up with Shadow as when I came up in front of him, I saw teardrops trailing down his face, to my worry.

Me: Hey! Icepop, are you o--

Shadow: I'm fine....

Shadow interrupted.

Me: But you- But you're-

Shadow: (looks up at Qrow) I know....

Shadow implied sadly as he looked up to me, tears rolling down from his eyes while showing no emotion. I squat to his level as I asked him questions on why he's crying and other questions.

Shadow: I'm crying. Heheh. What an idiot for a god to cry for no reason.

I placed my hand on his shoulder as I began to question.

Me: What's wrong?

Shadow: ....

Me: Kid, what's wrong?! if you want to talk, you have your teammates, your friends, my niece, your allies, your dad and myself to talk to...

Shadow: (Sighs) Fine... Well Qrow, I know that. It's just.... after getting Summer back to you, Ruby and Yang, in spirit in a special form.... it had me thinking.... will my mom ever come back to this world to see sister.... father.... and me again....???

After hearing Shadow's question, I was shocked that he brought that up, knowing that he didn't know what happened to his mother, even though Oz has told him everything before Beacon fell, well almost everything about his mother.

So, I sat down next to Shadow as I wrapped my arm around his shoulders and pull him close to me, comforting him. 

Me: Hey,.... I know what it's like.... when Summer didn't come back from her mission.... I was doing the same thing like you.... but.... in a drinking kind of way, well, without the singing....

Shadow: Well.... that makes two of us.... so, was your case a Oz secret?

Shadow questioned, in which I pondered for a bit. Then, I answered.

Me: Well,.... it's not a Oz secret. It's more of a Summer secret that you have to ask her yourself.... as after all, she's part of you now.

Shadow: I see..... well.... since my question back at Beacon was an Oz secret, which was already answered.... after hearing what Summer had to say.... let's say it's a--

Me: Mom secret?

I interrupted. But Shadow could see the point in this.

Shadow: Yeah.... A mom secret....

I nodded at Shadow when he saw through my point on what I was trying to say as I pat his shoulder while comforting him. Then, I asked.

Me: So uhhh, don't mind telling me what that song is?

My POV:

I hesitated a bit due to my saddness. But once I got my confidence back, I took slow breathes as I relaxed myself, finally ready to answer.

Me: My mom calls this song, The 'Swan Song'. This song..... always helps me to sleep calmly whenever I started crying or whenever I'm taking naps. Well, those were the times when I was an infant when she sung it smoothly and softly in my ear.

Qrow: Well... Now that's an interesting song I've never heard before. 

Me: However, while I sung that song, it somehow... Not sure how I can describe it but.... it's different from mom's as I can feel my aura and semblance being.... amplified. Something like Jaune's Semblance but...... in a different scale.

Qrow: I see...

Qrow implied while nodding to show he understands.

Qrow: So, any idea where she got that song from?

Qrow questioned.

Me: I..... I don't know..... I always wanted to ask mom where she got it from but..... when she left dad, sister and the infant me behind, that was the last time she sang to me.....

Qrow: Oh. Hey.... hey....

Qrow implied while turning and turn me to face him with both hands on my shoulders.

Qrow: Your mom is the best mom I have ever seen in my life back in the days. As best as Summer. Well, to tell you the truth, your mom and Summer are like a Power-Duo back in the day which your dad and I loved. Heheh. So, my point here is... what Oz would used to tell me, don't mourn for something that has happened in the past.... don't be like me.... look forward to the future. And if you want, you may sing all you want to remember the song your mother sang to you. Isolde will always be in your heart, always. Like how my niece always keeps her mom, Summer in her heart.

I nodded in response to agree with Qrow's pointers and some that were stated from Professor Ozpin which were implied to him.

Me: I see.... I will.... keep that in mind.

I implied.

Qrow: Thank you. (Pats Shadow's head) that's my Apollo's boy.

Me: Hey! Don't tease me in a situation like this!

I said annoyingly to figure that Qrow is teasing me at the time like this.

Then, he stopped patting my head as he got up from sitting down, beginning to take his leave but before that, he said something else.

Qrow: Hey, Dinner is about to start. Wouldn't want your food to become "cool" when you come down.

Me: Uh-huh.... real mature like Yang... but,.... I'll be down in a moment.

Qrow: Alright, Icepop. Whenever you're ready.

He implied as he made his way down. After seeing him gone, I looked at the the sunset again with a smile on my face.

Me: I wonder if....

I said as I have a short flashback when I was an infant, watching mom leaving us in front of our eyes. Then, what no one noticed but the infant me have was she was raising her withered weapon, while disappearing in a flurry of snow, while singing the same song.

After that small flashback, I wield All-Maiden Key-Slasher as I raised it up high in the air with my eyes closed. I suddenly shed a tear as I began to sing before making my way down for dinner.

Me: This is for you mom....

I implied to myself knowing mom can hear me from the Winter Maiden World.

Me: Gatrandis babel ziggurat edenal~

I sang to complete the song one last time with my aura and semblance to radiate one last time before they disappear back inside of me when I'm finished singing.

I then opened my eyes and lowered my weapon to see that the sun has set. So, I immediately made my way down to join the rest for dinner.

Ruby (In the house): Welcome back, Shadow!

Rachel (In the house): Welcome back. Come on, you're about to be late for some goodness food right here.

They said cheerfully.

3rd Person's POV:

Shadow looked at everyone who just started eating, with Shadow's teammates and Ruby looking at me.

Tenka: Come on, Shadow.

Mitchell: It's time to have a meal, bruuuh.

Shadow looked at Qrow, in which he gave Shadow a slight nod, for Shadow to sigh in relief as he made his way to an empty seat next to his girlfriend as he said something to everyone.

Shadow: Yeah, Rubes... Good to be back.

He then sat down next to his love as he began to eat with the others, unbeknowst to him, that he was being watched by someone inside the window, giving on a reflection of not just everyone having dinner, but a woman holding a spear, watching everyone with no emotion at all.

???: How does he know about the swan song??
