Hey everyone and WELCOME to the seventh episode of RWBY: (Genius Gamer Shadow) Ex-Aid Reader x Ruby Rose! So, just a recap of the disclaimer again, I DO NOT OWN RWBY AND I DO NOT OWN KAMEN RIDER EX-AID. RWBY is from RoosterTeeth and Kamen Rider Ex-Aid is from Toei.

*hits gong real hard until a glass of water shattered to pieces*

A/N: aww...I was going to drink that...

At Beacon Cliffs, Professor Ozpin is watching the students on his Scroll, overlooking the Emerald Forest when Glynda Goodwitch walks up behind him, holding her own tablet

Glynda: The last pair has been formed, sir.

She taps the screen to show a pair of Rachel and Mitchell fending off a King Taijitu, then to where Nora "boops" Ren

Glynda: Nora Valkyrie and Lie Ren. Poor boy... I can't possibly imagine those two getting along. Still, he's probably better off than Miss Nikos. (the video changes to Pyrrha and Jaune Arc's trek through the woods)

Ozpin: Mmmm...

Glynda: It's quite interesting that Ms. Claws and Mr Striker decided to help Ren, and this actually never happened from the last few years of initiation. And lastly, I don't care what his transcripts say. That Jaune fellow is not ready for this level of combat. (deactivates the tablet, walking back a little) I guess we'll find out soon enough. At their current pace, they should reach the temple within just a few minutes. (turning back to Ozpin) Speaking of which, what did you use as relics this year? (silence) Professor Ozpin?

Ozpin doesn't answer, watching his tablet with a contemplating interest as it shows a footage of Ruby Rose sitting in the grass and picking stray leaves while her "partner" Weiss Schnee walks in random directions, much to Ozpin's amusement.

Ruby's POV:

In a small clearing inside the forest, Weiss is seen walking left and right as she tries to decipher where the temple is, while I am sitting cross-legged on the ground picking leaves every now and then.

Weiss: (walking right) It's definitely this way. (stops and starts walking left) I mean... this way! It's definitely this way. (stops in front of Ruby) Alright, it's official: We passed it.

Me: (stands up, slightly annoyed) Weiss, why can't you just admit that you have no idea where we're going?

Weiss: Because I know where exactly where we're going! We're going... to... the forest temple!

Ruby, utterly frustrated, sighs.

Weiss: Oh, stop it! You don't know where we are, either!

Me: Well, at least I'm not pretending like I know everything.

Weiss: What is that supposed to mean?

Me: It means you're a big stupid jerk and I hate you!

She sighs to herself, spinning around and walking in another direction.

Weiss: Just keep moving!

Me: (in a faux imitation of Weiss' voice) Oh, just keep moving! Hurry up! Waaaah! Watch where you're going! (in her normal voice) Why are you so bossy?

Weiss: (turning back around to face Ruby) I'm not bossy! Don't say things like that!

Me: Stop treating me like a kid!

Weiss: Stop acting like a kid!

Me: Well, stop acting like you're perfect!

Weiss: I'm . NOT . Perfect! Not yet... But I'm still leagues better than you.

And with that, she continues to walk away.

Me: (to herself, dejectedly) You don't even know me...

---MEANWHILE---

Yang's POV:

From the forest, me and Blake Belladonna step out into a clearing that reveals the circular stone temple, broken and decrepit but for the podiums around its inside, holding several black and gold objects.

Me: Think this is it?

In response, Blake gives me an incredulous look and heads down the hill. They perceived the temple's surroundings and finds a small crater, much to their bewilderment but continued ahead. They walk across the floor and observe the items on each podium. Blake walks over and begins looking at a Black King, confused.

Blake: Chess pieces?

Me: Some of them are missing. Looks like we weren't the first ones here.

Just as I finished my statement, Rachel and Mitchell are seen stepping out of the forest, meeting up with Shadow and Tenka.

Shadow: Yo! (raises a hand)

Rachel: Yang!

My POV:

After calling out for Yang, in an instant, Yang is seen hugging the air out of me.

Yang: Oh, it's good to see you're here and alive.

Me: And... I... Can't... Breathe...!

Rachel saw how my face turning into a deep shade of purple, before Yang finally releases him out of her bear-crushing hug as she begins apologizing to me nonstop.

Me: It's alright, Yang. Anyway, Yang, I guess you should pick one.

Yang then begins approaching one of the relics

Yang: Hmmmmm...

Yang studies the golden knight, then picks it up and shows it to Blake.

Yang: How about a cute little pony?

Blake: (smirking) Why not, sure.

After Yang claims the relic, they walk towards each other to the centre of the temple floor.

Yang: That wasn't too hard!

Blake: Well, it's not like this place is very difficult to find.

Me: True. Right guys?

Mitchell, Rachel and Tenka: Yeah.

3rd person's POV:

And then suddenly, a feminine scream is heard all the way from the temple, where Yang turns towards the direction of its source.

Yang: Some girl is in trouble! Blake, did you hear that?

Rachel begins cracking up at Yang's remark, and Mitchell looks up and sees something, his jaw felt like it's going to touch the ground any minute now. Blake doesn't answer, as she begins to stare at something in the sky as well. Shadow and Tenka noticed something in the forest, prompting them to go into their battle stances for safety precautions.

At a cave entrance, Pyrrha rushes out right before the monster crashes through the hole, roaring and waving its grass-encrusted claws as Jaune hangs from the stinger, calling for help and continue screaming

Jaune: (sobbing) Help! Whoa-ah-ah-ah-ah! WHY?! Pyrrha! He-e-e-elp! Pyrrha, this is not the relic! It's NOT! (continues to cry and get shaken around) Do something!

Pyrrha: (wielding Milo in front of the creature) Jaune! Whatever you do, don't let-

Before she can even finish, the Grimm hurls its tail back and launches a still-screaming Jaune across the forest as she watches in dismay

Pyrrha: ... go.

Pyrrha turns back to the scorpion as it continues to snap its claws at her, and she smiles embarrassingly before turning and rushing away in a burst of green leaves.

Back at the temple, Blake and Mitchell are still staring at something above them, but Yang is focused on the forest.

Yang: Blake? Guys? Did you hear that? What should we do?

Shadow: I got an idea... (using his aura and semblance to summon a snow horse and rides it while holding his Parablagun) Let's shoot some Grimm when they emerge...

Tenka: (sheathes his Tri-Sector Sparrow) I couldn't agree more with the doctor.

Finally, the faint-but-growing-louder scream of "Heads uuuuuuuuup!" is heard when Ruby falls from the sky and presumably crash lands to the ground.
