Hey everyone! It's me, ONCE AGAIN, Shadow 264 and WELCOME to the second episode of the SECOND VOLUME of RWBY: (Genius Gamer Shadow) Ex-Aid Reader x Ruby Rose! So, to recap once again, I DO NOT OWN RWBY AND I DO NOT OWN KAMEN RIDER EX-AID!! RWBY is owned by RoosterTeeth and Kamen Rider Ex-Aid is owned by Toei. So, now sit back, enjoy and LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!!!

*hits gong real hard that tonnes of airships flew by*

My POV:

Just outside of Beacon, a large and unnerving ship as it descends upon a landing pad. Two Bullheads fly by as swarms of people on the paths walk around Beacon.

Rachel: Uh.. Cap? You may wanna take a look at this..

We had gone back to our own dorm after the food fight to get cleaned up with the rest of the team when Rachel saw something outside the window.

Me: What is it?

Me and the rest of my team began huddling up around the window Rachel is looking out of. Outside, me and the others saw a massive fleet of Atlas ships that had began landing on Beacon.

Me: Those look like Atlas ships, don't you think so Team?

Mitchell: Um.. What are they doing here?

Tenka: No clue. But one reason I'm putting my money on is that these fleets are for the tournament as extra protection.

Me: Yeah, Maybe. But I guess we'll find out about it eventually.

Rachel: Yeah.

Mitchell: Extra security huh? Well, like back in C.R.

Me: That's right, Mitch... but different. Much more different.

Tenka nodded at my statement.

---MEANWHILE---

3rdPerson's POV:

Meanwhile, at the top of a tower veiled behind clouds, Ozpin and Glynda are seen through the window into Ozpin's office

Glynda: Ironwood certainly loves bringing his work wherever he travels.

Ozpin: Well, running an academy and a military makes him a busy man. 

Just then three more bullheads fly in.

Ozpin: But yes, those are a bit of an eyesore. 

A chirping beep sounds repeatedly. Ozpin turns to see a hollow-message "Access Requested" on his desk.

Ozpin: Come in.

Ozpin looks beyond his desk, facing the doors as they slide open to reveal General Ironwood. Ozpin approaches to greet him.

Ironwood: (cordially) Ozpin!

Ozpin stands at attention.

Ozpin: Hello, General.

Ironwood: Please, drop the formalities.

They both approach each other and shake hands as Glynda also approaches.

Ironwood: It's been too long. And Glynda! It has certainly been too long since we last met.

Glynda: Oh, James!

She gives a personable wave and then literally drops all pleasantries.

Glynda: I'll be outside.

With that, she begins walking away.

Ironwood: Well, she hasn't changed a bit.

Ozpin: (As he turns to his desk...) So, what in the world has brought you all the way down from Atlas?

He picks up a mug and a kettle, pouring as he speaks.

Ozpin: Headmasters don't typically travel with their students, for the Vytal Festival.

He turns and offers the cup to Ironwood.

Ironwood: Well, you know how much I love Vale this time of year.

Ironwood then takes out a canteen from his inside coat pocket and pours its contents into his mug.

Ironwood: Besides, with you hosting, I thought that this might be a good opportunity for us to catch up.

Ozpin walks around to his desk, kettle and a new mug in hand. He sits down and pours himself some coffee.

Ozpin: I can certainly appreciate the quality time between friends, however, a small fleet outside my window has me concerned.

Ironwood: Well, concerned is what brought them here.

Ozpin: I understand that travel between kingdoms has become increasingly difficult.

Ironwood: Oz, you and I both know why I brought those men.

Takes a drink and sets down his mug.

Ozpin: We are in a time of peace. Shows of power like this are just going to give off the wrong impression.

Ironwood then sets his mug down as he continues to speak.

Ironwood: But if what Qrow said is true...

Ozpin: If what Qrow said is true, then we will handle it tactfully.

Ozpin emphasizes this as he holds up an index finger.

Ozpin: It's the Vytal Festival. A time to celebrate unity and peace. So I suggest that you not scare people by transporting hundreds of soldiers halfway across the continent.

Ironwood: I'm just being cautious.

Ozpin: As am I. Which is why we will continue to train the best Huntsmen and Huntresses we can.

Ironwood: Believe me, I am.

Ironwood turns and walks away. He stops near the door and looks back at Ozpin.

Ironwood: But ask yourself this: Do you honestly believe your children can win a war? Much more this student, Shadow Wrath you spoke off? Speaking of which, how's the he doing?

Ozpin: He's been doing much pretty well, I dare say. But I still have to fulfill the promise I had made with his father, most especially his mother.

Ironwwod: Does he know about her already? His mother I mean....

Ozpin looks down and slowly shakes his head side to side. Ironwood sighs in downcast.

Ironwood: Look, you might as well tell Shadow the truth now, Ozpin. No secret is kept for too long.

Ozpin: I am just trying to find the right time to tell him. But as for now, 'now' is not the proper time.

---MEANWHILE---

Ruby's POV:

Inside the Beacon Academy library, Team RWBY are shown playing Remnant: The Game.

Me: Hmmmmm.... All right... All right! (Points at Yang.) Yang Xiao Long, prepare your kingdom for battle!

Yang thrusts her elbow down as she balls her fist.

Yang: Bring it on!

Me: I deploy the Atlesian Air Fleet!

I slap my card down on the table. Yang feigns a look of shock.

Me: Looks like I get to fly right over your Ursai and attack your walls directly!

I proceed in making noises like airplanes flying and bombing as I made a bird with my hands.

Yang feigns indignance as she points at Ruby.

Yang: You fiend!

Me: And since Atlas is part of Mantle, my repair time is only one turn.

I peak my head up. I gave a look of surprise as Yang laughs arrogantly as she raises a card.

Yang: Pretty sneaky, sis, but you just activated my trap card Giant Nevermore! If I roll a seven or higher, fatal feathers will slice your fleet in two!

Me: But, if you roll a six or lower, the Nevermore will turn on your own forces!

Yang: That's just a chance I'm willing to take.

My POV:

Me, my team and Team JNPR are sitting together as Yang and Ruby banter on about the game with Weiss and Blake sitting with them. Ren and Pyrrha are studying, and Nora is drooling as she sleeps, while Jaune reads a comic book. Mitchell is sitting beside me with his chin on his arms that are rested on the table, delightedly gazing at the miniature ice armies waging war before him. I have created them, as well as a tiny version of myself and Mitchell, who were leading the troops into battle. And Tenka and Rachel were having a game of chess beside me.

Ruby: Nooooo!!! My fearless soldiers!

Ruby, unfortunately, had evidently fallen for another one of Yang's traps. Rachel and Tenka are being disturbed due to the noisy ruckus Ruby and Yang are making, which I noticed.

Rachel: You girls.... I don't know if you know this, but aren't you supposed to be quiet in libraries?

Tenka: Leave it as that, Rachel. It's hopeless reasoning with them when they're totally into it.

He says as he takes Rachel's knight piece on the chessboard with his queen piece.

Yang: Eh, most of them were probably androids.

Ruby: Goodbye my friends, you will be avenged.

Yang: Not until I draw my rewards! Which are double this round thanks to the Mistral Trade Route!

Ruby: Bah!

Nora: (snores and talks in her sleep) Oh. Have pancakes.

Yang: Oh, and what's this? The Smugglers of Wind Path?

Pyrrha clears her throat and then confiscates a comic book Jaune is reading, trading it for a textbook. Mitchell turns towards their direction and giggles when she saw Jaune got scolded.

Ruby: Bah! Bah, I say!

Yang: I say, it looks like I'm taking two cards in my hand!

As Pyrrha reads Jaune's comic, a Nevermore player piece is tossed over Jaune's shoulder. Another piece bounces off of his head. Suddenly another board piece came sailing towards Mitchell. I caught it with ease before it could even hit him.

Ruby: Have you no heart? (Ruby collapses on the table, crying.) Nooo!

I stood up from my seat and left Mitchell with his miniature ice battle, and walked over to the girls.

Me: You girls dropped this? (Holding a board piece)

I place the board piece on their table and was about to get back to my seat when someone grabbed unto my arm, preventing me to do so. I turned my head to see a currently weeping Ruby.

Ruby: Shadow! Yang is being unfair!

Me: Huh?! How so? I mean she won fair and square, right? Unless you're saying she's chea---

Yang: Shadow Wrath, Are you accusing me of cheating?!

Me: What?! Geez! Just calm down, will ya?! It was just a rhetorical guess, that's all!

Yang: Good enough. Well, Weiss, it's your turn.

I grabbed a seat from Team JNPR's table and sat beside Ruby, who still continues to cry, and watched how the game is being played well.

Weiss: I have... absolutely no idea what's going on.

Yang slides up beside her and puts her hand on her shoulder.

Yang: Look, it's easy! You're playing as Vacuo which means that all Vacuo-based cards come with a bonus.

Weiss: That sounds dumb.

Yang: (Yang starts looking through Weiss' cards.) See, you've got Sandstorm, Desert Scavenge... Oh, oh! (She pulls up a card to show Weiss.) Resourceful Raider! See, now you can take Ruby's discarded Air Fleet—

Ruby: Nooo!

Yang: —and put it in your hand!

Weiss: Okay.

Yang: And since Vacuo warriors have an endurance against Natural-based hazards, you can use Sandstorm to disable my ground forces and simultaneously infiltrate my kingdom! (Yang points a finger at Weiss.) Just know that I will not forget this declaration of war. (She pulls away and returns to her seat.)

Weiss: And that means...

Ruby: You're just three moves away from conquering Remnant!

Tenka: Oh dear. Here we go....

Tenka says that as he and Rachel began watching. Weiss then stands up and a thunder clap accompanies Weiss' overjoyed psychotic laughter.

Weiss: Y-Yes! Fear the almighty power of my forces! Cower as they pillage your homes and weep as they take your children from your very arms!

Rachel: Huh, she's really getting into this..

Yang: Trap card...

Weiss: Huh?

Me: Now that was short lived....

Yang begins shuffling the pieces on the board, Weiss' pieces disappearing in a puff of smoke.

Yang: Your armies have been destroyed.

Weiss then slumps in her chair as she begins tearing up.

Weiss: I hate this game of emotions we play.

Ruby suddenly hops into Weiss' lap, who is also crying.

Ruby: Stay strong, Weiss! We'll make it through this together!

Weiss: Shut up! Don't touch me!

Despite saying this, Weiss hugged her back. Yang puts her arms up behind her head, as she signals Blake that it's her turn.

Yang: Alright Blake, you're up!

Blake: Oh, um, sorry, what am I doing?

Yang: You're playing as Vale, trying to conquer the Kingdoms of Remnant!

Blake: Right.

Jaune: (Approaching the table.) Hey! Can I play?

Ruby: Sorry Jaune, we've already got 4 people.

Weiss: Besides, this game requires a certain level of tactical cunning that I seriously doubt that you possess.

Yang: Uhh, you attacked your own naval fleet 2 turns ago.

Rachel: And Yang just basically defeated you with a single card, somehow.

Weiss makes an annoyed sound at their statement.

Jaune: Bring it on, Ice Queen! I'll have you know that I have been told that I am a natural born leader!

Weiss: By who? Your mother?

Jaune: A-and Pyrrha!

Pyrrha: (waving) Hello again!

Jaune begins begging with both of his hands folded together.

Jaune: Come on, let me play your hand for a turn!

Weiss: I'm not trusting you with the good citizens of Vacuo!

Me: (Muttering) At least he couldn't do much worse that you already are now....

Weiss: Excuse me?!

Me: Nothing!

Jaune: Why not? You've trusted me with way more important stuff before. I mean, you told us all that Blake is secretly a Fa-

Ice suddenly forms at Jaune's mouth and they all turned to look at me, who just shrugged my shoulders, then everyone looks nervously at Blake who looks obviously annoyed that her secret is out.

Mitchell: Unfreeze him, Cap. I think he already got the point....

I rolled my eyes for a moment before waving my hand that unfroze Jaune's mouth.

Jaune: Right..... Ladies, enjoy your battle.

Jaune bows and the sound of footsteps approaching towards their direction are then heard.

???: 'Sup losers.

Tenka: I dare you to say that to my face, Sun.

Sun appears holding his fingers in a "peace" sign towards Tenka as he laughs sheepishly.

Sun: Sorry.

Ruby: Hey Sun!

Sun: Ruby, Shadow, Yang, Blake... Ice Queen.

Weiss: Why does everyone keep calling me that?

Me: You'll understand one day, Weiss. Don't worry.

Weiss: That... is not actually reassuring.

Sun: I never got a chance to formally introduce you to my old friend.

Neptune: Uhh, aren't libraries for reading?

Ren: (throwing his arms up.) Thank you!

Nora: (popping her head up.) Pancakes!

Sun: Shut up. Don't be a nerd.

Neptune: (shaking a finger at Sun.) Geh, geh, geh, geh! "Intellectual", okay? Thank you. (waving) I'm Neptune.

Weiss: So Neptune, where are you from?

Neptune: Haven.

Neptune begins approaching Weiss and continues....

Neptune: And I don't believe I've caught your name, snow angel.

Weiss: Um, I'm Weiss.

Jaune: Are you kidding me!?

Me: Now that's just sad, Jaune. Sad....

Neptune: Pleasure to meet you.

Sun: (to Blake) I never took you as the board game playing type.

As she speaks, she shoves Sun aside and starts to leave the room.

Blake: Right, well, I think I'm done playing actually. I'll see you guys later.

Nora: (shrugs) Women.

Mitchell: As if you aren't, Nora.

Sun: Sheesh... Whats up with her?

Rachel: Dunno, she's been acting weird all day.....

Me: Not just all day, Rach. She's been like that since the incident at the docks

Mitchell: Huh?

Tenka: I'll go talk to her...

Tenka stood up from his chair, gaining the attention of me, the rest of my team and my friends.

Mitchell: You sure, Tenka? I-I'll come with you if you want....

Tenka: It's okay, Mitch. I think I understand what Blake is feeling better than most of us right now. But I'm her boyfriend, it's just fitting for me to do so...

We all turned towards him, who caught up with Blake and began conversing with each other. Blake narrows her eyes at him for a second, as if she was glaring at him for something. She sighs and nods. With that, Blake and Tenka leaves the library together, while me and the others hope for the best for the two of them. 

---TIMESKIP---

Blake's POV:

Nighttime has came, and Tenka had been in Team RWBY's dorm room with me for a while. He wanted to wait for me to start talking since he didn't want to be too forceful. Because of this, it had become night until I have finally spoken, but not before recalling in my mind of what had happened at the docks.

Me: Brothers of the White Fang, why are you aiding this scum?

Roman: The White Fang and I are going in on a joint business venture together.

The sounds of battle including slashes, grunts, gunfire, and Torchwick's laughter were included in her reminiscence

FLASHBACK STARTS:

Ozpin: Well, this has certainly been an eventful evening.

Me: Hmph.

Another recall happens, showing me sitting in an interviewing office as Ozpin enters. Blake quietly acknowledges his statement.

Ozpin: I'm sure that after a night of thwarting attempted robbery, you probably just want to go home and take a nap. But, I was hoping that maybe we could have a chance to talk.

Me: Of course.

Ozpin: Wonderful. As you know, in order to enroll at my academy, students must first pass a rigorous entrance exam. Most applicants spend years of preparation training at one of the many combat schools around the world. You are one of the few that did not. And you passed the exam with flying colors.

Me: I was raised outside the kingdoms. If you can't fight, you can't survive.

Ozpin: Well, you have most certainly survived, Blake. I admire your drive. And I am proud to run a school that accepts individuals from all walks of life. Rich, poor, Human... (Sips his coffee.) Faunus...

I glare at him at the mention.

Ozpin: Why do you wear that bow, Blake? Why hide who you are?

Me: You may be willing to accept the Faunus, Professor Ozpin, but your species is not.

Ozpin: True, but we are continuing to take strides to lessen the divide.

Me: With all due respect, you need to start taking some larger strides. Until then, I'd rather avoid any unnecessary attention. I want people to see me for who I am, not what I am.

Ozpin: And what are you?

Me: I don't understand what you're asking.

Ozpin: How did you know the White Fang would be at the shipyard tonight?

Me: I didn't. I just happened to be at the right place at the right time.

Ozpin: You wouldn't have been the first. But what happened tonight was not an isolated incident. I may be your headmaster, but I am also a Huntsman, and it is my sworn duty to protect this world from the forces that conspire against it. Blake, are you sure there is nothing else you would like to tell me?

Me: I'm sure.

Ozpin: Very well. Thank you for your time, Ms. Belladonna. If you ever need to talk to me. Please, don't hesitate to ask.

FLASHBACK ENDS:

After my flashbacks, I had momentarily forgotten that Tenka was waiting for me to speak all this time. I felt remorseful at the fact of having my boyfriend wait for me all this time, but I was grateful on the inside. I sighed before I finally start to speak to him.

Me: What is it you want to talk about?

Tenka: You have been acting odd a lot lately, Blake. And, I think I know why.

I was slightly surprised at his sudden straight-to-the-point tone, but I recovered quickly and replied:

Me: I haven't been acting odd, Tenka....

Tenka: Really? Avoiding us ever since of what happened at the docks says otherwise, Blake.

Tenka paused for a moment for me to take in the words he had said as he sits in my bed, before speaking again....

Tenka: You're worried about that Roman Torchwick-guy aren't you?

Me: Wait. H-How did y-you----

Tenka: Look, I may not understand completely since I've never been actually a part of the White Fang, but I get what you're going through. So please, let me help you Blake. You know I can---

Me: I don't need your help!

Tenka was incredibly shocked at my sudden outburst. I was surprised at myself as well. I looked away from him out of regret and slight annoyance. Slightly pained from my outburst. He slowly sat up from my bed and left the room. Full of regret, I tried calling out to him.

Me: Tenka wai---

Team RWBY begins entering their dorm room before I could even complete my call.

Yang: Ugh, we should have never let him play!

Ruby: You're just mad cuz' the new guy beat you! See, if you had just attacked when I told you none of this would have happened.

As they enter, I quickly approached the door to leave, and hopefully catch up with Tenka on the hallway. But, just as I was about to touch the door nob to open the door and leave, Weiss stopped me.

Weiss: Stop.

Weiss points at me, my hand retracts from the door knob.

Weiss: Lately you've been quiet, antisocial and moody!

Yang: Uh, have you met Blake?

Weiss: Which I get is kind of your thing, but you've been doing it more than usual! Which quite frankly, is unacceptable! You made a promise to me, to all of us, that you would let us know if something was wrong! So, Blake Belladonna, what is wrong!?

Weiss is shown to be balancing precariously on a chair's back feet. She quickly puts the chair away and returns to stand near the girls.

Me: I just, I don't understand how everyone can be so calm.

Ruby: (approaching Blake) You're still thinking about Torchwick?

Me: Torchwick, the White Fang, all of it! Something big is happening and no one is doing anything about it!

Yang: Ozpin told us not to worry. Between the police and the Huntsmen, I'm sure they can handle it.

Me: Well I'm not! They don't know the White Fang like I do!

Weiss: Okay, between blowing up nightclubs, stopping thieves, and fighting for freedom, I'm sure the three of you think that you're all ready to go out and apprehend these ne'er-do-wells!

Ruby: Uh, who?

Weiss: But let me once again be the voice of reason. We're students! We're not ready to handle this sort of situation!

Ruby: Well yeah, but...

Weiss: We're not ready!

Me: And we may never be ready! Our enemies aren't just going to sit around and wait for graduation day. They're out there, somewhere, planning their next move, and none of us know what it is, but it's coming! Whether we're ready or not!

Ruby: (Ruby raises her hand and does other random gestures, while looking manic.) Okay, all in favor of becoming the youngest Huntresses to single-handedly taking down a corrupt organization conspiring against the Kingdom of Vale... say aye.

Yang: (Pumps her fist enthusiastically.) Yes! I love it when you're feisty!

Weiss: Well, I suppose it could be fun.

Ruby: None of you said aye!

???: Aye!

RWBY: Huh?

My POV:

Me: Aye!

RWBY: Huh?

All members of Team RWBY turns to see me and an Tenka standing in the corner.

Weiss: What are you doing?

Me: Eavesdropping....?

RWBY: Uh....

Ruby: Uh... How did you guys get here without getting through the front door?

Me: Well.....

FLASHBACK STARTS:

A minute after Tenka left the dorm room, I had been waiting for him in the doorway of my dorm.

Me: So, how did it go?

Tenka sighs as he held his head in downcast, shaking his head side to side. I stared at him in sympathy before my face instantly lights up, due to coming up with an idea.

Me: Let's go.

Tenka stares at me in confusion as I begin dragging him to someplace.

Tenka: Huh? To where?

Me: To Team RWBY's Dorm, of course, Tenka.

At the mention, Tenka dug his heels on the floor as he tries to loosen his grip on me.

Tenka: W-WHAT?! No! Stop it! Just, Shadow! Look I---

Me: Look, I don't want to stand around while Blake is in distressed. I know you don't want that either!

Tenka: Well... true! But--

Me: Trust me. We have to.

Tenka: (sighs) Okay. So, let's go.

Me: We won't be using the door.

Tenka: ???

Swirling my Gashat around my finger and activates it. Just before he could even get a glimpse of what is happening, the gashat shot out a portal and we jumped into it, making our way into Team RWBY's dorm window.

FLASHBACK ENDS:

Me: Okay, look. (Puts Gashat into my pocket) Tenka and I aren't going to let you take on a criminal organisation by yourselves.

Tenka: If this is the only to put Blake at ease then I'm totally in. And besides, we're Team STRM after all. You know that we've always got your back.

Ruby: What about Mitchell and Rachel?

Me: Did you forget who's been keeping an eye on you since day one of initiation? Tenka and I did. Mitchell and Rachel helped Team JNPR. We have to divide the burden of protection. That's why the half of us get to protect you girls, while the other could protect Team JNPR. They even seemed to have agreed with it too.

Tenka: Wait. They did?

Me: Uh, yeah. Just after we left for here. Although, Mitchell kept crying out about how they are about to miss out all the fun. So, I decided to take the them in just for this.

Blake: Alright then, we're in this together!

Ruby: (gesturing) Let's hatch a plan!

Yang: ("Double-guns" at Ruby.) Yeah!

Ruby: (gasps as she freaks out) I left my board game at the library!

Weiss: (Places her hand to her head.) We're doomed.

Ruby: (running out of the room and down the hallway) I'll be right back!

Ruby then ran out of the dorm room as she hurriedly makes her way towards the direction of the library. Blake shifted uncomfortably in her place as she kept stealing nervous glance towards Tenka. I nudged him on the shoulder and motioned my head towards Blake. I gave him a look of insistent, which he sighed at and began walking towards Blake. There was an awkward atmosphere for them at first, but soon enough they made up.

That night after Ruby came back from the library with her board game. I called Mitchell and Rachel from my dorm room to finally plan the things that me and the other's are about to do.

---MEANWHILE---

???'s POV:

???: Kaiden,expand our numbers and meet back at this spot by Midnight. 

Kaiden: Yes, Gemdeus-sama.

As Kaiden got the order, he smoke bombs his way out of sight, leaving the man behind. The man smiled as he looked over Beacon while fanning himself. While looking over Beacon from a far away place, he turns behind him as he talks to three figures he never seen before.

???: What business are you here for? The three of you?

Cinder: Cinder Fall, is my name. My followers, Mercury Black, and Emerald Sustrai. I heard you are extremely powerful... than Grimm... than all of us.

I smirk as they knew of my power, but not all of it yet. So, I spoke again.

???: As much as I wouldn't want to gloat but, yes, I am, Miss Fall, Mister Black and Miss Sustrai. I was wanting my men to come find someone who... heeds my word on things, but I think you three might just do.

Cinder: Very well. You see, I'm here to a--

???: Ask whether I want you to join up with you? Well, that could be arranged as I own a company, for I am, CEO of Machina Vision, Johnny Maxima.

Mercury: Maxima? Cool name.

Cinder: So, Are you in to overthrow Vale and Beacon? (Eyes glowing as she smiles in amusement)
