Hey everyone! WELCOME to the fifth and part one of the sixth episode of the THIRD VOLUME of RWBY: (Genius Gamer Shadow) Ex-Aid Reader x Ruby Rose! So, to recap once again, I DO NOT OWN RWBY AND I DO NOT OWN KAMEN RIDER EX-AID!! RWBY is owned by RoosterTeeth and Kamen Rider Ex-Aid is owned by Toei. So, now sit back, enjoy and LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!!!

*Hits gong real hard*

3rd Person's POV:

It was day seven of the tournament and with only a week of events left today was the last of the second round matches. After the events final matches of the days events the second round was complete and there was to be a day break before the singles round was to begin. From a distance, Shadow and his team have watched Yang and Weiss of Team RWBY beat Flynt and Neon of Team FNKI. After that, we all tried to make their way to Vale to hang out, but he was called by Glynda to head towards the Beacon Tower immediately. His team questioned it, but he dismissed it telling them that he'll be alright. After that, he went his way towards back the academy.

Ozpin's POV:

Meanwhle, within the headmaster's office at twilight, I am facing the window, my back facing the elevators when the doors open and Qrow steps inside, approaching my desk with a coffee mug in hand, instead of his usual flask.

Qrow: You know, he's making a fool of himself, right?

Me: His heart is in the right place. He's just... misguided.

Qrow: Sometimes, I'm not even sure he has a heart.

He takes a drink from his cup and shifts his weight before asking...

Qrow: So, have you chosen your guardian yet?

Me: I believe that Maidens choose themselves. I simply believe that we've found the right candidate. Ever since the day I met her, I had the feeling she would be the one. She's strong, intelligent, caring... but most importantly, she's ready.

Qrow: And Shadow is---

Me: Shadow is the exception. He inherited his mother's powers by birth. There are more things we absolutely don't know of how these things specifically work. Putting that aside, we all promised to Isolde not to make Shadow our guardian for this particular matter when it arrives, but a Guardian of the Winter Maiden's Power until we find the one who's ready enough to be the next Winter Maiden.

Qrow: But won't that be---

Just then, a chirping beep sounds repeatedly. I turned to my side to see a hollow-message "Access Requested" on my desk.

Me: Well, it appears our candidate has arrived early... And before Glynda and James it seems. Or even before Shadow.

Qrow: Then I'll wait at the back of the room out of sight.

Pyrrha's POV:

Qrow stated as he moved away from Ozpin's desk. Moments later, I arrived in Ozpin's office.

Ozpin: Thank you for coming Miss Nikos... Please take a seat.

Me: Thank you Professor.

I am more than happy to accept the Headmaster's offer as I sat down. Ozpin rested his cane to the side of his desk as he sat down before he spoke.

Ozpin: I'm been informed that you'll be taking part in the singles round. Well, it comes as no surprise that they've chosen you to move on to the final round of the tournament. Your performance was exemplary.

Me: Thank you, Professor Ozpin, but I would have never made it this far without my teammates.

I humbly responded to Professor Ozpin's complements.

Qrow: Personally, I think it's the other way around.

Qrow suddenly spoke out from his hidden position, with him leaning on a pillar with his arms crossed. I turned around and got up from my chair, trying to be formal...

Me: I'm sorry, but I don't believe we've been introduced.

???: His name is Qrow. He was my mentor back in Signal, and Ruby and Yang's uncle.

They all turned towards the sudden sound of a voice to see Shadow stepping out of the elevator.

Me: Shadow?

Shadow: You called for me, professor?

Ozpin: Indeed I did, Dr. Wrath, but I'll get right back to the reason why I called you here. So, Qrow is also a trusted colleague of mine.

Shadow turned towards Ozpin in confusion, but he just simply shrugged his shoulders. I remained silent for another moment before turning back to face Professor Ozpin.

Me: Professor, if you don't mind me asking, why have you called me here?

Ozpin smiled as he answered my question.

Ozpin: Tell me Miss Nikos... What is your favorite fairy tale?

Professor Ozpin's sudden question confused me as I struggled to respond.

Me: I'm... sorry?

Ozpin: Fairy tales, stories from your childhood. Surely you must remember some of them.

Me: Well, there's The Tale of The Two Brothers, The Shallow Sea, The Girl in the Tower.

I started to list off a number of fairy tale stories I was told as a child, before Professor Ozpin asked me if I remembered this particular one.

Ozpin: What about The Story of the Seasons?

I smiled as I easily remembered that story and began to tell the three men in the room of the version I was told growing up.

Me: Well, of course!

"A callous old man, who refuses to leave his home, is visited by four traveling sisters.

The first understands his reclusive nature and urges him to use his time in solitude to reflect and meditate.

The second brings him fruits and flowers, tending to his crops and revitalizing his garden.

The third warms the man's heart, convincing him to step outside and embrace the world around him.

And the fourth and final sister begs him to look at all that he has, and be thankful.

In return for their kindness, the man grants the maidens incredible powers, so that they may continue to help others all over the world.

They graciously accept, and promise to share their gifts with the people of Remnant 'til the end of days.

Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall. The four maidens. My mother loves that story."

Ozpin smiled as I finished my telling of the story.

Ozpin: Would you believe me if I told you that one's been around since I was a boy?

Me: You're not that old, Professor."

Ozpin: Well, would you believe me if I told you it was true?

Ozpin took a serious tone as he responded. I was nervous for a moment before I nervously asked.

Me: I don't understand?

Ozpin: What if I told you that there were four maidens existing in this world, that could wield such tremendous power, without Dust? And that one of them actually had an offspring?

Me: You mean... like a Semblance?

Shadow: No... Not a semblance, but magic, to what I've heard.

Me: And what about this "offspring" you are talking about, professor? Is it even possi---

Ozpin: The proof is standing right behind you, Ms. Nikos.

(A/N: Music starts at 15:19 to 17:17.)

I then started looking around the room in confusion, before my eyes landed directly on Shadow. He gave me a conflicted smile as he nodded slightly at me, making me widen my eyes in shock and astonishment.

Ozpin: May I properly present you, Shadow Wrath, the very first offspring of the Winter Maiden among all Maidens, and the current Guardian of the Maiden's Powers.

Qrow: Yeah. First time hearing this, it's pretty crazy. It took myself some time to understand it all ourselves.

Shadow: I guess the cat's out of the bag for her then......

Me: You're serious?

Ozpin responded to my question by looking at me with a straight face.

Ozpin: Do I look like I'm joking?

I struggled once more to find the right response.

Me: ... No. Why... why are you telling me this?

Ozpin: We are telling you this, Pyrrha Nikos, because we believe you are next in line to receive the Fall Maiden's powers.

Ozpin told me after Shadow and Qrow both nodded in approval.

Me: We?

I asked before I heard the elevator doors open. I then seen Professor Goodwitch and General Ironwood stepping out of the elevator.

Ironwood: Sorry we're late.

Me: Wait, what is this? Who are you?

Shadow: Pyrrha before I answer that question for you I want to re-ask you a question. But i'm gonna change it a bit. But in case you're wondering, there is no real wrong answer to this question.

Shadow softly informed me as he sat down in the seat beside me.

Me: What is the question?

Shadow: Imagine this. You are on a mission with three other huntsmen who you don't know. Now you are on a mission to defend a village that has hired you for about a month. Nearing the end of this mission a large horde of Grimm attack the village. The Grimm more or less are out numbering you and your team and have done a lot of damage to you and your teams aura levels. Do you understand what I'm saying so far?

Me: I understand so far, yes.

Shadow: Alrighty then. You get word that help is coming to evacuate the villagers and your team to safety. But a Grimm has injured one of your comrades severely and if he doesn't get proper medical attention he will die. When helps arrives they evacuate more or less the entire village but there is a problem, one situational problem. There are only ten children left and only one airship is left as well.

Shadow then paused once more as I realized what he was going to ask me.

Shadow: There isn't going to be enough room for you all and if your injured comrade is airlifted that means two children will have to be left behind along with your team. The question i'm asking you Pyrrha is: What would you do?

Me: Why am I being asked this question?

Ozpin: Because the very same thing happened to the last Fall Maiden and Winter Maiden, his mother. And I want to know if you would do the same thing.

Ozpin answered my question before waiting once more on the answer to Shadow's question.

I then was in a deep thought as I tried to find the answer I felt was the right one. The answer I felt was what needed to be done.

Me: The ten children leave and we remain. I want to become a huntress to protect people. And if I was the injured comrade, I would be demanding the children go instead of me as well.

Not only was my voice determined in my answer, my body language portrayed the same response as well. Shadow couldn't help but smile proudly at my answer as he nodded.

Shadow: Then you have just done the same thing Amber and my mother did. Now, you may be asking and wanting to know who they are? They're a select group of academy leaders who are protecting this world from forces unknown to the ordinary, but they are still our teachers and professors.

Qrow: But with an added "part time job".

Ozpin: And we are in need of your help.

Ozpin finished as he looked directly at me.
