No One's POV (Storytime):

A puff of turquoise smoke appears, revealing Salem staring from her window of the tower, her arms crossed, as Jinn starts to narrate.

Jinn (Narrator): Locked away by her cruel father, Salem was a girl who desired but one thing: Freedom.

Salem walks away with sadness as Ruby and Mitchell watched her do so when Salem passed by them unnoticed, as it is only a memory.

Jinn (Narrator): She lived in a time when kings and their kingdoms were plentiful, when men and women were capable of greatness, and magic was a gift from the gods that all could wield.

The lonely woman sits down and leans against the vanity. She lifted her left hand out, using her magic; four magical spheres with a magic circle in six basic colors appear over her hand.

(A/N: Salem using magic.)

Jinn (Narrator): And yet, there she sat within her tower.

As Salem looks down, the blue smoke reappears and envelops Salem to the next scene. It reforms the castle Salem resides in.

Jinn (Narrator): Until one day, a legendary hero came to brave the challenges within the tower's walls, accompanied by his mentor and trusted friend.

A young man in fancy armor and a cape wielding a scepter appears standing proudly in front of the tower wielding a long intricate staff. Qrow and Shadow can be seen walking up to him, but they both couldn't see each other within the memory.

Jinn (Narrator): The people of the lands knew them as Ozma.

Qrow waves his hand in front of Ozma's face, but the latter proceeds forward unfazed, simply phasing through Qrow's hand.

Jinn (Narrator): Unlike those who had come before, the warrior Ozma was not driven by the prize of the young maiden's hand. He fought only for righteousness, and his pure heart and courageous soul prevailed.

As Ozma walk up to the tower, other warriors are shown falling in battle. Blue smoke reforms the scene once again, this time showing Ozma using his scepter to blast down a dark-armored figure. After taking down his last enemy and all of the enemies in the tower, Ozma opens up a door leading to Salem's room, where she stands up and offers a grateful smile to him. The smoke pops in and reforms the scene of them battling side by side with their magic powers.

Jinn (Narrator): They escaped the wretched fortress, and yet something bound Ozma and Salem together.

Smoke reforms the scene showing Ozma and Salem running away from the tower holding hands together. Once at a safe distance, the Ozma and Salem stop to catch their breath before looking to each other.

Jinn (Narrator): Ozma had been ready to give his life for justice countless times, but now saw a woman worth saving it for. And Salem, to her surprise, found her freedom not in the outside world she had yearned for, but in the eyes of the man that had saved her.

Salem: So, where should we go now

Salem asked, her voice was sweet and innocent before she was who she was today.

Ozma: Wherever you'd like.

Ozma answered, offering his hand to her. Surprisingly enough, he almost sounded like Oscar.

Jinn (Narrator): They fell deeply in love, planned adventures around the world, and lived happily ever after.

Smoke envelops the environment around Ozma and Salem as the two hold hands. The two disappear into a bright light of white space.

Jinn (Narrator): Or at least that's what should have been.

Smoke then reforms the scene showing Salem kneeling at Ozma's bedside, with the latter's eyes closed and his body motionless. Salem holds Ozma's hand and can she can be heard sobbing.

Jinn (Narrator): Ozma, the infallible hero of legend, fell ill. And where all the beasts and blades of the world had fallen short, a single sickness prevailed.

Ozma enveloped by the smoke as he disappeared to depict that Ozma has passed and Salem is the only one at his bedside, weeping while holding his staff.

Salem: How could the gods let this happen?

Salem asked herself sadly.

As she continue to watch in pity, she looks up to notice two spheres - one bright yellow and the other a dark purple - circling above her head.

Jinn (Narrator): The gods, brothers of light and darkness, creation and destruction. Salem prayed they would see the injustice that had befallen her love and make things right.

The two orbs encircling above lower down, with Blake Belladonna and Kouta watching the two conjoin in front of her. A bright light and blue smoke transitions the scene, this time showing a brightly lit place with a stairway leading up the mountain.

Jinn (Narrator): The Domain of Light was a sacred place.

Salem is then seen approaching the stairway, offering flowers on the steps, Ozma's scepter still in her possession

Jinn (Narrator): It was here the elder brother dwells beside his fountain of life and creation. It was here... where mankind would fall to ruin.

Weiss and Tenka watched Salem walk up the stairs as smoke transitions the scene again, with Salem now at the top of the mountain as she looks upon the Domain of Light, valley filled with flowers with a pool of water and a tree at the center. Leaves blow from the tree and encircles above the water, and from it, the God of Light rises from the pool smoothly. As he walks forward to Salem, the blonde woman falls to her knees, begging.

(A/N: God of Light.)

Salem: Please.... Please, bring him back to me.

Tenka understood what Salem is going through, and knew her pain. When his mother lost his husband before, Tenka's father, his mother mourned for years. But there was a major difference. Tenka's mother accepted the death of her husband, knowing he died for a good cause before. Salem, on the other hand, couldn't accept that loss, wanting Ozma to come back to her.

God of Light: I understand your pain. But you demand of me that which I cannot make so. Life and death are part of a delicate balance.

Salem: So... you won't do it then?

Shadow: .... Salem had to ask,.... knowing that Ozma might not come back to her ever again.

God of Light: To disrupt the cycle of--

Salem: But that's not fair... That's not fair!

Salem cried out, her voice echoes throughout the Domain from her last exclamation. Everything falls  silent for a moment.

God of Light: Let. Him. Rest.

The God of Light strictly ordered, as the wind picks up, causing leaves to blow around Salem. Suddenly, she finds herself back at the bottom of the stairway leading to the Domain of Light. She looks to Ozma's scepter in her hands before looking up angrily. She wanted her Ozma back. She NEEDED him.

Salem: No.

She sternly whispered.

Blue smoke transitions the scene again, this time showing a dark, foreboding environment with a stairway leading up the mountain, similarly mirroring that of the Domain of Light's. Discord and negativity, it only meant one thing:

Jinn (Narrator): The God of Darkness...

As Salem walks forward, she approaches some skeletal remains at the bottom of the stairs.

Jinn (Narrator): ... None dare to enter his home, as men knew what monstrosities emerged from his blackened pools of annihilation.

Salem proceeds forward, approaching a blackened pool of tar-like liquid similar to that of which the Creatures of Grimm spawn from.

Jinn (Narrator): And so you must understand the Dark Lord's surprise when he found a lone woman kneeling before him.

Salem saw all of the death and darkness that surrounded the dreaded place. From the blackened pool, the God of Darkness emerges, his body cracked, twisted and contorted. Yang and Rachel are seen standing a few feet away from Salem, with Yang gasping in fear at the sight, while Rachel backs away in fear while cringing. The God of Darkness crawls toward Salem in an unnatural position as Grimm can be seen inching closer to her from all angles.

Jinn (Narrator): Salem understood it well. She told him of her loss and professed that she knew only he could answer her prayers, all while careful to make no mention of his elder.

Salem is seen telling her story to the God of Darkness before offering Ozma's scepter to him.

(A/N: God of Darkness.)

God of Darkness: Rise, child.

The God of Darkness ordered. His voice deep and menacing

God of Darkness: And let your faith in me be rewarded.

Salem does so. The God of Darkness held out his hand, conjuring a purple sphere of fire, and from it, Ozma's body appears, completely resurrected as he dropped down to the ground. Salem approaches him, and Ozma gasps back to life as he look at his surroundings.

Ozma: Where am I?

He frantically asked.

Ozma: What is this?! WHERE AM I?!!

Salem: It's okay!

Salem smiled, happy to see her lover again in her arms.

Salem: Everything's going to be okay!

Suddenly, the God of Light appears with a sound of thunder at the top of the stairs leading into the God of Darkness' domain.

God of Light: What have you done?

The God of Light questioned in anger, surprised at his brother's action.

God of Darkness: I have done what I please, brother. You may bask in the powers of creation, but you do not own them.

God of Light: This is not creation.

God of Darkness: Do not leCtUrRe mE!

The God of Darkness spat back, his voice becoming demonic as the Grimm can be seen slowly approaching the God of Light.

God of Light: I will do what I must, to maintain order.

The God of Light puts his hand out, and an orange aura surrounds Ozma's body, before he disintegrates into golden petals in Salem's arms.

Salem: No! No! What did you do?! BRING HIM BACK!

Salem demanded.

God of Darkness: You dare enter my domain and show such disrespect!

Mitchell watched in excitment knowing that an interesting battle is about to get on.

Mitchell: Holy crap... a god battle is about to get on!!

The God of Darkness threw out his hand and makes Ozma's body appear again.

Salem: Ozma!

Salem shouted.

God of Light: I am abiding by the rules we agreed upon!

The God of Light corrected.

God of Darkness: Rules that I now see are ever in your favor.

The God of Darkness retorted, walking up to his brother as he began to morph drastically.

God of Darkness: And yet the day a mortal comes to pray at my feet before your own, so do you arrive to lay your judgment upon me!

The God of Darkness finished morphing and transforms into a nightmarish, dragon-like form that snarls at the God of Light. The Grimm proceed forward and attempt to attack him, but a bright light emanates from him, destroying all the Grimm in the area. He transforms into a bright, beautiful oriental-looking dragon.

(A/N: God of Darkness - Dragon form.)

(A/N: God of Light - Dragon Form.)

Just as the God of Darkness in his dragon form was about to teach his brother a lesson or two, an object flew down and struck the ground, stopping him from lunging forward as he roared at the object. As the smoke cleared out, he realized that a huge hammer interfered with his objective. Then, the hammer flew back up for someone to grab it, to both God's shock.

(A/N: Ultraman King and his Hammer.)

God of Darkness: you....

The God of Darkness looked up and the God of Light looked to his right, face-to-face with a powerful being existed throughout the universe, causing Shadow to look in a deep shock, knowing who that being is.

Shadow: .... Ultraman.... King....

Ultraman King: Darkness, what you were doing will cause the life of Light and Dark to crumble by your hands. By resurrecting one's life to please someone's desire will tip the balance of right and wrong, causing the cycle of life to break. Understand that you, and your brother play a crucial role as gods. You both play apart to keep this world alive, and destroy it, in a way you both see fit. Which is why I urge you, Darkness. Do not fall into Evil, just like Ultraman Belial has, or I shall have my escorts to bring you to Space Prison, where Belial now lays pondering of his mistakes. (Looks at the God of Light) Light, you may speak.

The God of Light nods as he looks at his brother.

God of Light: Brother, I know we have our differences, but I have not come here with the aim to control you.

The God of Light tried to defuse the situation, his voice noticeably now way deeper than before.

God of Light: The same, however, cannot said for her. This woman came to you only after I denied her pleas – pleas that would have disrupted the balance that you and I created. Together. Ultraman King has a point on many things, brother. The cycle of life is fragile, we play a crucial role in keeping this world alive and dead in a way we see fit, and we both keep the balance of right and wrong.

The younger brother ponders this revelation.

God of Darkness: Then it seems I owe you an apology.

The God of Darkness stated.

God of Darkness: Allow me to correct my mistake.

Salem: No!

Salem pleaded, but it was already too late. The God of Darkness fires a purple beam from his dragon form's mouth, disintegrating Ozma once again. Salem watches as Ozma's ashes blow away out of her hands.

Salem: You... You monsters! Give him back to me! GIVE HIM BACK!!

Salem screams while activating her magical abilities, releasing and encircling herself with arcs of electricity. Suddenly, the God of Light rushes forward and devours her.

A moment later, Salem then wakes up falling from the sky. She is then submerged in the God of Light's pool, drowning as an aura-like shimmer covers her body. Suddenly, she finds herself on the surface of the water, catching her breath. She looks up and notices both of the God Brothers and Ultraman King standing side by side.

God of Light: When you first came to me, I did pity you.

The God of Light  started as Salem stared up at them.

God of Light: But it is clear now that your selfishness and arrogance have led you astray.

Salem: What did you do to me?

She asked, staring at the aura-like shimmer seen on her hands.

God of Light: To what the Ultra and my brother have agreed on doing. I have made you immortal.

The God of Light answered.

Salem: Immortal?

Salem gasped in disbelief.

God of Darkness: You cannot die. You cannot be with your beloved.

The God of Darkness had specified.

Gods of Light & Darkness: So long as this world turns, you shall walk its face.

Both gods finished in unison.

Salem continues to stare back at them in disbelief as the God of light continued to explain.

God of Light: You must learn the importance of life and death.

Ultraman King: Only then, may you rest.

Salem tries to reach out to them, but then finds herself transported to a vast open field with nothing but grass and light grey clouds.

Jinn (Narrator): Salem was a prisoner once again. Her fruitless attempts to reunite with Ozma eventually became nothing more than acts of spite and defiance against the gods.

Ruby, Mitchell and Rachel are seen back in Ozma's room, watching a shadow of Salem as she fatally stabs herself. Ruby covers her mouth with her hands in horror. Rachel, on the other hand, didn't take it too well, shrieking at the sight as she covers her eyes, for Mitchell to hug her tight close his chest, preventing her from seeing more of this gruesome suicide which failed. Salem's suicide attempt fails due to her immortality.

Jinn (Narrator): But perhaps the gods were not as powerful as they seemed...

Ruby, Rachel and Mitchell watched Salem walk to a window, who is still holding the sword she attempted to stab herself with.

Jinn (Narrator): She had lied to them, turned them against one another, they... were fallible.

Salem then sets her sights on a castle in the distance.

Jinn (Narrator): If she were to turn humanity against light and darkness, she could rid herself of their curse, or at the very least... she could make them suffer.

Salem then throws the sword toward Ruby's way. Ruby yelps in panic as she disappears in a puff of smoke just as the sword was about to strike her. Smoke transitions the scene again, showing a king standing up in surprise as a bloodied ax is thrown to the ground.

Jinn (Narrator): Salem travelled from one kingdom to another, telling tales of how she stole immortality from the gods, welcomed any swordsman to cut her down or sorcerers to strike her down, and demonstrated her powers.

Salem is shown speaking to various leaders of kingdoms, including the aforementioned king from before, an oriental-looking empress and her subjects, and finally to a savage-looking warrior king.

Jinn (Narrator): With the kings and queens in awe, she pulled them deeper into her scheme. She painted them pictures of a time when they would no longer have to watch their loved ones wither and die, when they could claim the powers of their creators for themselves, and in turn, perfect their own design.

As Salem finishes telling her story to the warrior king, she kneels before him. The warrior draws his weapon and let's out a proud battle cry, with his people cheering along with him. The combined forces of the kingdoms are then shown launching an all out assault on the Domain of Light.

Jinn (Narrator): All they needed to do was destroy their old masters.

Ultraman King is seen seated before the fountain of life and creation, his hammer settled beside him, overseeing the World of Remnant through via his vision while being in a deep meditation. As he meditate while overseeing the world, he is suddenly disturbed as he heard the war cries of an army coming from the entrance to the Domain of Light. He grabs his hammer and rises up to his feet. Sensing only malice and corrupted desire from the army approaching, he raises his hammer.

Ultraman King: Not one step closer! You are standing on Holy Ground!!

He bellowed, slamming down his hammer to the ground, creating a shockwave around him.

As the warriors run in, they are suddenly stopped by the loud shockwave the Ultra had conjured to stop them at their tracks. The leaders of the kingdoms Salem had spoken to stand in front of their people approaching the Ultra before them.

Female Leader: Stand aside, Ultra!

The female leader ordered.

Female Leader: We have no quarrel with you.

Ultraman King: I will not! You are ALL desecrating the God of Light's sacred domain, his sacred grounds, with your corrupted intentions, with your dishonor!

Jinn (Narrator): The gods had hoped that Salem would learn from her eternal curse, and she did. She learned that the hearts of men are easily swayed.

The God of Light then emerges from the pool in his dragon form, upon hearing the commotion. The God of Darkness, also in his dragon form, then appears alongside his elder brother.

God of Darkness: Who has led you down this path?

Salem is then seen walking through the crowds of warriors as she makes her way to the front of them. She glares at the gods, while Ultraman King is shocked at the revelation.

God of Darkness: You...

God of Darkness growled as she then roars at Salem.

In response, Salem launches a magical attack, and the warriors follow suit. A barrage of attacks are launched at the God of Darkness, but, with no effort, he catches them all into his hand, absorbing them into a purple sphere of energy. Everyone gasped and looks in shock upon seeing their attacks being stopped like that.

God of Darkness: My own gift to them... used against me..... my old friend, I'm sorry bit, it's time for you, and for us to leave, once this deed is done.

Knowing what the God of Darkness is about to do, Ultraman King nods at the God of Darkness and Light and looks at the army led by Salem, only for him to shake his head in dismay at what Salem has done before he transforms himself into a huge ball of light, flying far far away from the World of Remnant and immediately disappearing from it. The God of Light looks away in disappointment as the God of Darkness squeezes the sphere within his hand, creating a massive shockwave that envelops the world, smiting everything and everyone in its path. Humanity has been turned to dust, only Salem remains due to her immortality.

(A/N: Infinity War reference but in a different style, and different topic.)

Salem: No...

She breathed.

Salem: No.

The God of Darkness then slam his claw right in front of Salem, intimidating her and making her gasp in surprise as she is blown back by the impact.

God of Darkness: You thought there was no greater punishment we could bestow upon you?

The God of Darkness rhetorically asked.

Salem: I'll come back.

Salem threatened.

Salem: I'll tell the rest of the world of this massacre! Build a new army!

God of Darkness: You do not understand.

The God of Darkness interrupted.

God of Darkness: There is no one left. You are all that remains of humanity.

Salem's eyed widened in shock at this revelation.

God of Light: This planet was a beautiful experiment, but it is merely a remnant of what it once was.

The God if Light explained.

God of Light: We will learn from this failure. I hope that you will learn from yours.

The God of Light started to glow brighter and brighter until he disappears into a bright light of dust.

Salem: No! You can't leave!

Salem shook her head.

Salem: You can't leave!! COME BACK!

But it was too late, the God of Light had already disappeared. The God of Darkness, however, looked down on Salem.

God of Darkness: Still demanding things of your creators...

The God of Darkness also disappears into a beam of purple light that shoots up into the sky and out of the atmosphere. In the process, the moon is shattered. Moon fragments rain down like meteors back onto the planet's surface. Salem falls to her knees and lets out a scream of despair.

Jinn (Narrator): Once again, Salem was alone...

Salem is seen walking alone. She walks by a pair of deer eating grass, as well as abandoned villages that are now inhabited by Grimm.

Jinn (Narrator): She cursed the gods. She cursed the universe. She cursed everything, everything but herself. She wandered the face of the planet, awaiting a death that would never come...

Salem then stands on the edge of an overhanging cliff in the land once inhabited by the God of Darkness. She looks down at the blackened pool below her.

Jinn (Narrator): Until fate led her back to the Land of Darkness. This was it. This had to be it, the brother's Grimm, the pools of black that continued to give rise to horrific nightmares. If the fountain of life granted her immortality, then surely, the pools of Grimm will finally take it away.

Without hesitation, Salem falls forward and is submerged into the blackened pool, and hopes she would rid herself of her curse.

Jinn (Narrator): She was wrong. This force of pure destruction could not destroy a being of infinite life.

Salem is thrashed around by an unseen force, protected by a shimmering aura that surrounded her entire body.

Jinn (Narrator): Instead, it created a being of infinite life with a desire for pure destruction.

Salem crawls out of the pool, this time, her skin deathly white as well as her hair. She opens her eyes, irises red with black sclerae. Revealing how she became who she was today.

Jinn (Narrator): And in time, she would find her adversary...

Ozma opens his eyes, finding himself in nothing but a white landscape of emptiness. He takes a look at his surroundings. Everyone from Team RWBY and STRM all watch him walk around aimlessly, before a voice can be heard.

???: Ozma.

Ozma turns around to see the God of Light in his dragon form, before turning back into his regular human form.

Ozma: Where am I?

Ozma asked.

God of Light: We are... between realms.

The God of Light answered.

(A/N: God of Lught and Ozma in between Realms.)

God of Light: I'm afraid a tragedy has befallen your home at the hands of my brother. We have chosen to depart this world, but in our absence, I would like to offer you the chance to return to it.

Ozma: I... don't understand.

Ozma reluctantly replied.

God of Light: Mankind is no more, yet your world remains.

The God of Light explains.

God of Light: And in time, your kind will grow to walk its face once again. However, without our presence, they will be but a fraction of what they once were.

Suddenly, the God of Light conjures four objects: a staff, a sword, a crown, and a lamp.

God of Light: Creation, destruction, choice, and knowledge were the ideals upon which humanity was made. Now I leave them behind with the hope that you will learn to remake yourselves.

The four objects are conjoined together into a yellow sphere of energy.

God of Light: If brought together, these four Relics will summon my brother and I back to your world, and humanity will be judged. If your kind has learned to live in harmony with one another and set aside their differences, then we shall once again live among you, and humanity will be made whole again. But if your kind is unchanged, if you demand our blessings while still fighting amongst yourselves, then man will be found irredeemable and your world will be wiped from existence. Until your task is complete, you will reincarnate, but in a manner that ensures you are never alone.

Ozma falls to his knees as he comes to terms with this ultimatum. Oscar Pine watches him, realizing that a legendary warrior dwells in his mind.

Ozma: I'm sorry, but... that world just isn't as dear to me without her.

Ozma sighed, referring to Salem.

Ozma: If I may, I'd rather return to the afterlife to see Salem.

God of Light: You will not find her there.

The God of Light, informed.

Ozma's eyes widened in surprise.

Ozma: You mean she isn't gone?

God of Light: Salem lives, but the woman you hold dear in your memories is gone.

The God of Light specified.

God of Light: Heed this warning... where you seek comfort, you will only find pain. So, will you--

Ozma: I'll do it.

Ozma accepted, with the bravery that he always had. The God of Light looks in surprise at Ozma's immediate answer.

God of Light: Our creation rests within your hands.

The God of Light then disappears into golden leaves.

Jinn (Narrator): And so Ozma was reborn.

Ozma reincarnates into a man with a tanned complexion and pale blonde hair, who had just stabbed a Beowolf with a pitchfork, causing it to disintegrate. Ozma takes the time to come to terms in his new body and surroundings. He looks up and sees people screaming and running into the forest he is in away from a burning village in the distance.

Ozma: Where am I?

Ozma asked in the villager's head

Ozma hears a man scream, and looks over to see him flailing a sword at a Beowolf, which swipes at him to the ground, disarming him. With quick thinking, Ozma's previous soul takes over and runs forward, grabbing the man's sword and slaying the Beowolf. The man gets back up.

Person (Man): Thank you. Please, tell me your name. Who are you?

Suddenly, Ozma's newest reincarnate has trouble speaking, and throws the sword to the ground in horror. Oscar watches the scene before him.

Oscar: He didn't know...

Oscar whispered.

As Jinn continues to narrate, Ozma walks down a street, seeing along the way Faunus locked up in cages, and a pile of Dust crystals on top of a table.

Jinn (Narrator): Ozma had found himself in a world completely unfamiliar to him. Cities looked different. Creatures known as the Faunus bore fangs and claws and were locked away in cages. And without the blessing of the gods, no one could perform magic like mankind was once capable of, no one but himself, a woman named the witch.

During his years of travel, he heard the same frightened whispers that spoke of a terrifying sorceress who commanded dark powers in the wilds among the beasts and monsters. Ozma was convinced that this witch was Salem, and decided he needed to see what she had become.

Ozma stands at a distance from the cottage. The front door opens, and from the darkness beyond, Salem emerges, wearing black robes this time. She gives an angry glare while exiting the cottage as her eyes landed upon the man. Salem's expression softens upon seeing the man behind the sorcerer. Ozma likewise smiles back at her.

Jinn (Narrator): Call it magic or call it something stronger, but in that moment, the two knew exactly who it was that stood before them.

Ozma and Salem walk towards each other, the two hold each other's hands, interlocking their fingers affectionately. Ozma asked....

(A/N: Now that's romantic.)

Ozma: What do we do now?

Salem: Whatever we like.

Salem smiled, as she told him the same answer he spoke when he first saved her.

As time passes, the scene shows the cottage changing from its dilapidated state to a much better condition, following with Salem and Ozma conversing with one another at a table on the front porch.

As Salem and Ozma recounted the events which had brought them back together, each withheld parts of their story. Salem, fearing Ozma would reject her, blamed the end of the world on the gods. Ozma, still unsure of where the truth lay, kept his task and the Relics a secret. Though time passed and all seemed well, Ozma's conversation with the God of Light still lingered in his mind. He had found happiness, but humanity seemed more divided than ever before. Salem and Ozma head back inside the cottage, still talking to each other.

Salem: Are you surprised?

Salem asked.

Salem: This world is quite literally godless. These humans have no one to guide them. Perhaps that's all they need.

Ozma: What are you saying?

Ozma interjected, preventing a heated argument from happening.

Salem: We could become the gods of this world.

Salem suggested.

Salem: Our powers surpass all others. Our souls transcend death. We can mold these lands into whatever we want, what you want, create the paradise that the old gods could not.

Ozma is troubled at first, but then smiles in agreement with Salem, much to his mentor's distress, but decided to relent, knowing full well that the moment Ozma told him of his task and he needed someone to trust to, there was no way he could refuse. The only thing he could do now was make sure that Ozma won't stray far away from his task.

Ozma and Salem look each other in the eyes as Salem places an affectionate hand on Ozma's shoulder.

Jinn (Narrator): The hearts of men... are easily swayed.

A village is shown under attack by a Nevermore. Suddenly, a purple energy surrounds the Nevermore, causing it to be bent and folded into unnatural positions. The Nevermore disintegrates, and the villagers watch as Ozma, once again wielding his scepter and wearing regal robes, and Salem levitate into the air side-by-side above them. In here Salem and Ozma were seen as the new gods of light and darkness.

The villagers of the village all bow down to the two in reverence. Weiss, Tenka, Mitchell and Yang are shown walking up to two statues of Ozma and Salem that are then erected.

Jinn (Narrator): The two amassed a following. That following grew into a prosperous kingdom. And at the head of that kingdom blossomed... a family.

Four little girls dressed in pink, green, orange and blue surrounded Ozma and Salem, who watch their four daughters playing together The two of the four daughters were seen playing together. The Blue daughter is seen sitting on a chair peacefully reading a book. One of the four daughters comes up to the two of them, playfully tugging on Salem's robe. The two parents smile at her before smiling at each other.

This was the happily ever after they wished they could have had before things went wrong. Nonetheless, they all had their happy endings. At least, for Ozma and Salem, it was.

A few hours later,

Humanity was still fighting amongst itself, being observed inside a crystal ball by a smirking Salem. Ozma stands a short distance away from her looking outside the window.

Ozma: Are we sure this is right?

Ozma skeptically asked, clearly troubled.

Salem: You said we needed to bring humanity together.

Salem reminded.

Salem: In order to do that, we have to spread our word, and destroy those who will deny it.

Ozma gains a shocked expression on his face upon hearing these words. Ozma turns to see his reflection on the window, which suddenly talks to him.

Ozma: What are we doing?

Ozma reels back in horror seeing his reflection ask him that question, briefly becoming his original incarnation, before looking over to Salem.

Ozma: This isn't what he asked of me...

Ozma muttered under his breath.

Salem: What did you say?

Salem questioned. Then, their eldest daughter, the blue one, enters the room excitedly.

Blue-hair Child: Mother, father, look!

Ozma and Salem's daughter then conjures multicolored wisps that fly in circles in front of her.

Salem has a proud expression on her face, while Ozma looks on in surprise, before looking down with his troubled expression again.

Jinn (Narrator): It was a miracle, Ozma and Salem's children could perform magic. But what should have been a joyous occasion was short-lived.

Smoke transitions the scene again, this time showing Ozma telling what he knows to Salem in his study.

Ozma told Salem everything, the true reason the God of Light had brought him back, the Relics that they scattered around the world, and the day of judgement he had been told to prepare for.

As Ozma finishes his explanation to Salem, she didn't look to amused by the truth, and decided to share her own opinion about it.

Salem: Don't you see? None of that matters anymore.

Salem said.

Salem: Why spend our lives trying to redeem these humans when we can replace them with what they could never be?

Salem offers her hand out, but Ozma hesitates to take it, backing away in disgust as he was not on board with whatever she has in mind

Smoke transitions the scene again showing Ozma quietly escorting his daughters through the quiet halls. The youngest daughter looks down the hallway, noticing something.

Youngest Child: Mommy?

Salem stands at the end of the hall menacingly. Ozma protectively stands in front of his daughters. Salem, realizing what he is doing, angrily conjures a red ball of magic from her hand.

Shadow witnessing this became worried about what is going to happen, conjoured an ice sword and a flame sword at the same time.

Salem suddenly launches her beam of magic at Ozma, who used his scepter to counter Salem's attack, launching a green beam.

Shadow: NOO!!!!!!

Just before I lunged in, Jinn stopped me.

Jinn: You can't.

Shadow: Wha-?? Why???

Jinn: Everything... that you see here, is what happened, in the past.

Shadow: So I am just gonna watch this happen?!?

Jinn: Yes.

Jinn replied as Shadow watched on as their attacks clash, engulfing the area into a bright white flash.

Members of teams RWBY amd STRM watch in horror as Ozma, and Salem fight throughout the castle. Ozma and Salem's battle causes the castle to crumble, separating them from the girls. A few minute later, the castle crumbles down to the ground with all the rubble crashing down upon them.

After a long struggle, Ozma is seen weakly crawling on the ground, blood dragging from behind him. Salem then reappears behind him undamaged thanks to her immortality, and angrily walks over to Ozma. She kicks him over onto his back and holds him down with her foot.

Salem: We finally had freedom...

Ozma weakly looks up at her.

Ozma: I--

A blast of fire from Salem engulfs Ozma, killing him once again.

Jinn (Narrator): Thus began a long and painful cycle of death and rebirth for Ozma.

A montage of Ozma's various reincarnates are shown, including a frail man weakly walking by many gravestones, followed by a despondent man walking in the rain, who would rather drink his problems away.

Jinn (Narrator): Some lives were spent in mourning, many were spent attempting to forget it all.

Finally, Ozma reincarnates to a dark-skinned man with glasses who starts off slouching, but then eventually stands straight up and determinedly walks forward. But there were still no signs of the Ultra that he seeks.

Jinn (Narrator): But no matter what, his mind would eventually turn back to the task he had been burdened with. Unfortunately, no matter how much he tried searching for the Ultra, what Ozma didn't know was that he had already left this world. But yet he still tries his best to find them despite having a family in his newest reincarnate.

Ozma's newest reincarnate is shown serving a meal to his wife and two children, both of whom interestingly have silver eyes.

Jinn (Narrator): And as the centuries went on, Ozma began to learn the importance of living with the souls with which he had been paired.

Ozma then hears screaming outside. He opens the door and sees villagers running around in panic as Grimm attack.

Jinn (Narrator): But no matter where or how he lived, her presence was always felt.

Ozma looks back to his wife, who nods in understanding, before going out with The Long Memory, Ozpin's cane, into battle.

Jinn (Narrator): If humanity were ever to stand a chance at being united, one thing was clear...

Ruby, knowing the answer already, said.

Ruby: He had to destroy Salem...

Shadow: To save the world....

Shadow replied as well from a different point of view.

Smoke then transitions showing Ozma's reincarnation many years older now, tinkering with his cane in his workshop.

Jinn (Narrator): Knowing he could never rid the world of her through any mortal means, Ozma sought out the power of the Relics.

The elderly tinkerer then places his cane inside a metal cabinet, closing the door on it. The door opens again showing Ozma's newest reincarnation, a light skinned well-dressed man, picking up the cane where he last left it in his previous life. After reclaiming his cane, he began to walk away to begin his mission to find the relics.

Jinn (Narrator): Armed with my knowledge, he believed he could fulfill his promise to the God of Light.

Ozma is next shown holding the Relic of Knowledge, summoning Jinn for the first time. All of Teams RWBY and STRM can be seen with him as they walk towards Jinn.

Jinn (Narrator): He asked me his questions.

Ozma: Where are the other Relics?

Ozma: What powers do they possess?

Jinn (Narrator): And though I gave him my answers...

Ozma: How do I destroy Salem?

Jinn (Narrator): ...not all of them were to his liking.

Teams RWBY and STRM watches as Jinn gives her answer to Ozma.

Jinn: You can't.

Upon hearing this, Ozma falls to his knees in despair, Ruby, Tenka, Weiss, Mitchell, Blake and Shadow all have shocked expressions on their faces. Yang, and Rachel close their eyes in anger. Ozma remains on his knees as Jinn disappears before him. The setting transitions Ozma to his current reincarnation, Oscar, who lowers his head in sadness as the snow falls once again.
