Ezra was on his way to school, which he didn't like what's so ever, but it was the only school in the town.
Ezra never liked the town he lived in, Blackwell. Even though it was by the ocean, it rarely had nice day's. The towns people were not the nicest and everyone has their secrets.

School wasn't any better. Most of the students weren't the best. You had your typical like sport's guys, popular student's and people like that. Bullying was another big thing in this school. If you do one stupid thing, the whole school will know about it and make fun of you for untill you leave.

As Ezra was about to walk into the school, he herd his name being called. "Ezra wait a minutes". Ezra turned around only to see his best friend Sabine. "Hey Sabine, what's up, and do not say the sky" Ezra told her. Sabine chuckled.

"Don't worry I won't. Hey do you want to get out of here?" Sabine asked him. "You mean skip school today" he asked her. Sabine nodded. "Sure why not. School sucks anyway" Ezra agreed. Sabine's smile grew even more as they walked away from the school and walked down the path.

After a few minutes, they endded up in the forest that was quiet close to the town. "So what are we doing here?" Ezra asked her as they wondered around. "We're waiting for are pickup" Sabine replied.

"Pickup?" Ezra asked in confution, for Sabine never mentioned anything about a pick up.
Then the sound of rumbling could be herd. The two teens turned their heads to see a train, coming their way. "There's are pick up. Come on let's get going before we miss it" Sabine told Ezra as she began running in the direction the train was going.

Ezra quickly followed Sabine, as the train speed passed them. "There a open carriged, hurry get on" Sabine shouted to Ezra as she jumped into the opened carriged. Ezra was close behind and soon also jumped into the train carriaged. Once they were in the empty carriage, the Sat there, trying to regain their breaths.

"You didn't tell me we were going to be going on a train" Ezra asked Sabine. "Well it was a suprise" Sabine laughed as she sat on a small bail of hay. "So where are we heading to?" Ezra asked. "To the next suprise is all I shall say" Sabine replied with a smirk. "Now I dont know if I should trust you or jump of this moiving train and run back home" Ezra replied.

They watched as the trees flew passed them, the wind blowing in their faces. The sun was up, but not to high, it was only passed 10 in the morning.

"Do you remember the time we were messing on some old track's like the one this train is on, and we nearly got run over by a train" Sabine asked. He laughed. "Yeah. We were camping on school trip and we want a diffrent way and found found train track. That was so much fun" Ezra added.

The two of them laughed.
They had been friend's since Ezra had moved to the town, which was when he was 9 years old. They met when Ezra was at the small beach with his parent's, and he ran into Sabine for the first time.

They only grew closer when Ezra and his parent's were in a terrible car accident, killing his parents, and Ezra to stay in hospital for week's. Sabine was the only one who ever visited him there. Once Ezra was out of the hospital, he was taken in by a woman, who was quiet crule to him, even to this day.

After a few more jokes and stories were passed around, Sabine looked outside. "Well here we are, get ready" Sabine told Ezra as she jumped up and stood up. "Wait we're going to jump?" Ezra asked.

"Yep. Don't worry you'll be fine. Trust me" Sabine told him. Ezra looked out of the carriage, he seen there was a few bushes, but that was all. 'Well this is going  to hurt' Ezra thought to himself.

"Okay get ready to jump in 3...2...1...NOW!" Sabine yelled as the two teens jumped, falling on to the bushes. "Ow. I was right, that did hurt" Ezra mumbled as he sat up. He turned to see Sabine laughing a bit.

"Well that is way better than jumping on to concret, am I right" Sabine told him as she stood up, leanding a hand to Ezra. He took it and stood up, looking around. "So where is this suprise?" He asked. "Follow me" Sabine told him as she ran off, Ezra following close behind.

They ran untill they found a dirt path, which they continued on. Ezra then noticed that the ground was getting higher and steeper. "Sabine are we there yet?" Ezra asked, getting tired for running after the multi coloured hair girl. "Yeah nearly" Sabine replied.

After another 2 minutes they stopped. "Here's the suprise" Sabine told him as she pointed infront of them. Ezra looked. "Wow. This is so cool" he said as he looked at the landscape

"Cool right" Sabine replied as she followed his gaze. "Yeah. It is cool. So why did you want to show me this?" Ezra asked his friend. "Well imagine going beyond what we see here.  Imagine traveling the country, with not a worry or care in the world" Sabine explained. "What do you mean?" He asked the girl.

"Well the thing is...I want to run away" Sabine replied. "What. Run away. Why?" Ezra asked her with shock. "Ezra look. My life is a mess, and I want to fix it. School is awful, my family is a mess and there is nothing going for me at home, and I want a break. Most people would call it running away from my problems, but I call it sorting things out" Sabine explained.

Ezra sighed and stayed quiet. He knew what Sabine ment. He knew what he life was like. She would always complain about school and her family and his she just hated life, and to be fair, he felt the same.

Ever since the accident, and he was taken in by that lady, he was always treated badly. She did have two other kids and got them anything that wanted, but make Ezra a outcast, not doing anything for him. She would always agnore him and treat him differently when in public and not in public.

School wasn't any better. He was bullied alot at school there, in person and scocial media. People would call him names and taunt him. Online, people would tell him to go kys and that he was a waste. He hated it. He hated life.

The only thing that kept him form doing any of that, was Sabine. She was the only one who actually cared about him. And he knew if he did die, she would be all alone. She he didn't.
He took in a breath.

"I'm coming to"

"What?" Sabine asked. "I'm coming to. I want to run away to. We both hate are lives, are school, are families, and no one cares about us. So let's run away together. Travel the country and find new thing's" Ezra explained.

Sabine smiled. "We will be some serious trouble if we are caught you know" Sabine told him. "And I'm willing to take that chance. You in" Ezra asked. Sabine smirked.

"Lets do it".
