[Since I promised this and have stated it in my Sakura3 book on the last chapter that I will be making this and yes this may probably be long since I'm probably not going to make more chapters on this story unless asked... and this story won't leave me alone in my thoughts either so... *sighs* here we go...]

"Will you be my friend mister?"

Steve watched as his family home burn to ashes with his parents his older brother and little sister trapped inside but no one tried to help them and when he tried they would push him away since he was a kid and didn't want him hurt but once the fires stopped his family were gone and leaving him alone in the world and since he looks like what people call the white eyed beast no one wanted to be his friend and others belittled him but the reason why he was pushed away was probably because they thought he was someone else and since he was eight the death of his parents and siblings devastated him and everything he knew and loved were gone and he was hopeless and homeless and left to sleep where light was in order to stay away from mobs but over the months of staying in his home village they finally drove him out and he ran and didn't stop until he was too exhausted to continue and since he had no food and water he was most likely going to die but when he meets a traveling merchant who tells him of a field that has lots of resources and can help him survive made Steve make up his mind and goes there and encounters a village with no light and everyone looking at him in confusion as to why a child was alone and why he looked like the white eyed beast but his soft and kind "hello..." caused the village worry and one of the village children looked at him with a glare and slaps him "how dare you look like that beast who murdered my family!" The little girl snapped at him "I-I don't even know who you're even talking about... why does everyone hate me... why did my own village cause my family to be burned alive the chase me out... why does no one even care about me..." he grew silent and started to cry and it caused the little girl to flinch realizing she made a terrible mistake when Steve finally yells "WHY DOES NO ONE EVEN WANT TO BE MY FRIEND! WHY DOES EVERYONE HATE ME!" Steve then runs away even though exhausted, hungry, and thirsty was crying and goes to the ravine where he hides and cries but he was followed by a villager who lived in the village he ran from not long ago "child... I'm sorry about that... Luna lost her family not long ago and it seems you have to..." the villager says and Steve looks at him "but my parents and siblings weren't killed by this white eyed beast... they were murdered by the other villagers who locked them up in the house... they were burned alive... then I was chased out months later..." Steve replies and the villager looked upset about that "our god doesn't like those who do that... means they won't go to the Aether..." the villager says and Steve doesn't seem to believe in this god since he did nothing to help he was loosing faith and the villager seemed to notice "I'm Warren..." Warren says looking at Steve "Steve..." Steve replied but he knows better then trust strangers but he knew that if he doesn't get food or water he's gonna to die but when another villager walks over telling Warren that he was probably a curse Warren didn't believe them but he looks at Steve "I'll bring you some food and water later okay...?" Warren whispers then walks away with the other villager but Luna the little girl who slapped him got to hear his story and how her so called village folk were now calling him a curse and it angered her since she was also an orphan and they were helping her but they were pushing away another child but she couldn't do anything about it and then walked back to her village only to see the more hot headed guard go down into the ravine scared her greatly and she follows then can hear Steve scream in pain and agony as the guard harmed him along with calling the kid a 'curse' and someone who would probably become a 'traitor' when he grew up and it pissed Luna off and she soon noticed Warren run over and yells at the guard to stop and leave the kid alone and basically says "do you realize that you're actions would cause him to become this so called traitor your accusing him of?!" Warren shouted and the guard grunts only for a diamond sword to penetrate their back causing Waren and Luna to gasp and for Steve to scream in panic as the guard's body fell beside him "w-why...? even though he hurt me he didn't deserve death..." Steve says but then froze in fear at a white eyed gaze and he flinches when the diamond sword was at his throat and Warren and Luna were to afraid to do anything but it seemed this white eyed beast was only observing him as in trying to find out why that man accused a mere child of being a curse and a traitor and the word traitor pissed him off due to what happened to the mortal human Lionel who he considered a brother who tried to stand up for him when no one else did but was executed when he tried to help him flee when he was paralyzed but he still had one curse on him and it was being mute and he hasn't spoken in years it would be Lionel's thousandth birthday by now and this kid looked like Lionel and himself which probably got the village to call the kid a curse and traitor but he didn't really know the kid either but he stop to think about who the kid was though he heard the kid whisper "give everything you got, and fight a good fight... until the very end" then the kid got to his feet which made Herobrine a little surprised at since he hasn't heard that saying since when Lionel was still alive was this one of Lionel's grandchildren? "I won't give up... even though I lost my parents and siblings already... by my own kind..." Steve says and Herobrine glares angered by what he heard and seeing one of Lionel's grandchild was a surprise and he found himself looking at the kid's lost and abandoned gaze only for it to suddenly wince when an arrow missed him but hit the kid instead but the kid smacks him but the kid doesn't do much "Steve run!" Warren yells out 'Steve huh... probably short for Steven... well... this is an interesting turn of events...' "for the love of Notch... Herobrine he's only a kid leave him alone!" Warren added on and that name angered him and Steve was confused by the name 'why are you confused your so called god's name...?' Herobrine thought but then it hit him Steve wasn't given any knowledge about Notch or even had that stupid religion drilled into his head he was a lost and godless soul 'I will not let them corrupt you kid... you don't deserve death unlike these fools...' Herobrine then picks up Steve who squeaks in fear and confusion but Herobrine wasn't ever going to harm Lionel's bloodline he couldn't fathom it 'Lionel... did you... have a play in this... but for what purpose...?' Steve's scream was enough to take Herobrine out of his thoughts as he blocks the arrow before Steve could be hit and Warren and Luna were shocked "does the kid... remind him of... someone...?" The man next to Warren askes "I-I don't know..." Warren replied then noticed Herobrine walk away with Steve in tow while removing the arrow from the child's body then used his blood and since they were far enough away that they couldn't hear Steve whimper in pain while he healed him 'Steven Stonewall... you'll be safe with me...' Herobrine thought and then ran wanting to get Steve to safety before trying anything that came with vengeance and his despise towards humans "I-I don't know your name..." Steve says to which Herobrine holds his finger up as in hold on a minute before stopping in the fields that were on his turf near the old fortress that was thousands of years old then he goes inside to his the throne he calls his own and held the kid in his lap then gave Steve food and water before giving himself a book and quill to help him and Steve communicate since he didn't want to try telepathically syncing the kids mind to his yet due to the kid being frail "Herobrine...? Did I say I right...?" Steve asks and Herobrine nods and seeing Steve's face light up showed an innocence he hasn't seen since Connor who was the king's son those thousands of years ago and he seemed a little amused by it "Herobrine...?" Steve seemed to say which had Herobrine look at Steve immediately and tilt his head "this may sound weird but... would you like to be my friend...?" Steve asks which made Herobrine give an odd look "yeah it's weird I know... but I've never had any friends... I'm practically alone..." Steve said 'same too kid same too...' Herobrine replied in his thoughts as he looks over at a creeper and glares at it and it caused the creeper to run away but then his gaze locks back to Steve's and he nods "y-your okay with b-being my friend...?" Steve asks to which Herobrine nods again and he seemed to get this protective feeling over him but things have gotten interesting to say the least but he did notice Steve show amazement to his throne but when Steve got out of his lap and looks up at him in a position of a ruler resting his head on his palm while the other against the throne's arm "how can you make yourself look so cool?!" Steve said 'cool...?' Herobrine thought and probably figured it was the new type of slang or something but Steve's giggle seemed to warm him somehow 'sheesh I need to keep you hidden huh...?' Herobrine thought as he stood up then picks Steve up "what's wrong?" Steve askes and Herobrine shook his head and wrote 'bad people will try and separate us...' Steve read it and was worried "but your my friend Herobrine... you don't deserve to be alone..." Steve replied 'that's where your wrong kid... so very wrong...' Herobrine thought as he felt a little guilt but he couldn't even let Steve know of the dragon since that dragon will kill him no questions asked Steve was just too innocent to be a threat and Herobrine wanted Steve to keep that innocence 'I'm sorry Lionel but it looks like your grandchild isn't going to be leaving this fortress...' Herobrine thought with a grimace but when Herobrine noticed Steve's tired expression he knew that it was time to put Steve to bed "is it bedtime for me...?" Steve asks when he sees Herobrine walk into one of the prison towers and to a room he decided to mark with redstone which Herobrine nods to Steve's question to which Steve whines "but that means I won't get to spend more time with you..." Steve says but Herobrine couldn't help but give an odd smile to the reply 'your too innocent you know that kid...?' Herobrine thought and puts the kid to bed but doesn't leave until he knew Steve was fully asleep 'night kid...' Herobrine thought then locks the iron door keeping Steve safe from the outside world and from the mobs 'the mobs are never going to have Steve as their pray and I won't allow it...' Herobrine thought and growled before going out to kill the villagers of Steve's old home.
