Mwah ha ha feel the angst. And, some parts of this are...vent-ish.

This is an alternate ending to '(Don't) Do It' parts one and two. This is also a human high school AU and the sides are close friends. They don't look alike and they are not siblings or related at all.

Oh, and...sorry for all the angst lately. Life's been hard lately. Switching schools for the second time in a row. You know, all that jazz. *jazz hands*

After the next one-shot, there will be hopefully more fluff and cuteness. So be prepared incase it happens!

Also sorry if some parts are confusing or weird!

Roman was ready.

He was going to finally do it.

After he ran out of school, not even saying goodbye to his friends, he ran up to the cliff with a pill bottle.

Roman stood on the edge of the cliff, looking down over the trees and the long but short distance from the high school.

Roman sighed, opening the bottle of pills. This is really how my story will end, isn't it? Roman thought, looking at all the sleeping pills in his hand.

He was about to put them all in his mouth before he soon remembered that he had forgotten to write a note.

And so he did.

After carefully placing all the pills back in the bottle, Roman grabbed a piece of paper from his pocket and a pen.

He began to quickly write it down, while also making look neat in the process. Roman was always trying to be perfect, anyways.

Most people did think that his life was perfect. Well, his home life that is. Even his three closet friends, Patton, Logan, and Virgil, thought that!

What no one knew was that his mom was barely around and was always out drinking, mainly never being home at night because she was with some guy or still out drinking.

Roman quickly finished, looking over the letter. He set it down on the grass beneath him, and he picked up the pill bottle.

Now was the tricky part.

Roman tried to open the pill bottle again, this time being much harder.

"Stupid caps! Why. Can't. You. Just. Open!" The frustrated teen said with a groan as he tried to open the bottle of pills.

He soon opened it, and with one last look at the beautiful sky, the beautiful forest filled with trees, and the horrible horrible high school, Roman closed up the pill bottle and set it down.

Roman couldn't do it. He just couldn't.

Roman was having...doubts about it.

But those doubts were soon replaced with answers.

Who would help his mother, who was already in enough grief from his father?

She'll have drinking and those men she loves more than you. She won't miss you. Your just a pathetic disappointment.

Who would be there for Virgil when he was having a panic attack?

Patton would. Logan would. Their a lot more helpful when it comes to stuff like that. They won't miss you at all. Who would? Your just stupid.

Who would Patton watch those cartoons others would deem "childish"?

Virgil would. They're close to each other and he won't question things like Logan and point out things about how Disney's better like you do. Patton would grieve for a day, no, a week. He will soon forget about you and go back to being happy. Or, "happy" for a month and then be happy.

Who would make Logan question the logic of things and have some arguments about it with him with?

He just wouldn't. Duh, 'ya idiot. Logan hates you, anyways. Logan's emotionless, anyways. He'll never miss you. At all.

Roman didn't have time to think about his other doubts. He grabbed the pill bottle and chucked it into the forest. Roman grabbed his note and clenched his fist,

And then he jumped.

Logan, Patton, and Virgil arrived, but Roman was nowhere in sight.

Virgil had just assumed that Roman and Logan had been pranking the two. Roman was going to pop out from behind a tree somewhere any second now, right?

Logan had been...confused, to say the least. He had really thought that Roman was here. Maybe they were at the wrong cliff. Maybe it was just another one of his pranks. Maybe he stopped himself and went home. Maybe he was at home and fine. Logan had hoped for the best.

Patton...was conflicted. He was told that one of his closest friends was here, about to commit suicide. Much like the other two, he was looking and walking around, very confused. Patton just wanted his friend to be okay. He wanted them all to be okay, since things have been weird lately.

It wasn't until Patton looked over the edge and screamed that they all put two and two together.

The news about Roman had come out. People weren't really sure if the teen was dead or alive.

On Monday morning, after the weekend of Roman's...you know, the school had an assembly in the morning.

The principal had announced that after the assembly, people who were close
to Roman were free to go home if they were still upset or just needed some time.

Well, she actually pulled Patton, Virgil, and Logan aside before the assembly began and told them that they could. Which confused the three of them.

"I wonder why she only chose us three..." The dad-like teen whispered the two as the three of them took their seats at the assembly.

Virgil shrugged. "Maybe she knew that we were close to him? I'm just as confused as you are. What about you, Logan?"

Logan turned to the two, and he just shook his head and looked forward. He had no answers. He was just as confused as the other two.

The principal soon spoke up into the microphone.

"On Friday afternoon after school, Roman Prince had quite literally jumped off a cliff holding a suicide note." The principal said as she held up the letter in her one hand.

"Now, I am going to read it to you all, so you may all know his last words...if he is dead, after all." She said, placing the letter on the podium as she pushed back a bang on her face.

The principal cleared her throat, and began reading the letter.

"'Dear anyone who bothers to read this,

Oh who am I kidding. Like anyone would read this. It's not like I matter enough for anyone to read it. Anyways, I have decided to pull the plug. To end this story called my life.

"'To my mother, if your even reading this at all. I'm surprised you aren't out drinking with random guys who you try to flirt with. This isn't your fault. Well, only a small part of it is.

"'I know you can't deal with anymore loss since my father's passing back when I was in middle school. And I'm sorry. For everything. I wish you the best. Goodbye.'"

A loud sob was heard from somewhere in the room.

Ms.Prince, who was sitting in the front along with some of his other relatives, had let out a sob after hearing what he had written about her. A mumbled "I could have stopped this...why must I be cursed with all this!" could be heard.

"'To my friends, not the popular ones, but my real friends.

"'Patton, you were always so caring and kind. Yet you hid behind that smile that everyone loves. It's okay to be sad. Remember that. I'm sorry.'" Patton, who was already tearing up since the principal started, had now tears streaming down his face. He couldn't help it. This letter might be the last thing he said to him.

"'Virgil, you were always so unique and, dare I say, even 'edgy.'  Sorry about all the nicknames and teasing. I never really meant it all. I was just jealous that you got to be so unique and never cared what others thought! Remember to stay unique. I'm sorry.'"

"So all those times...he was just jealous..." Virgil whispered in a volume that only Logan and Patton could hear. Virgil was tearing up, but he just quickly wiped the tears away. He just couldn't believe his what he was hearing.

"'And finally, Logan. I know you we weren't as good as friends as you were with the other two, but I'm sorry. I'm sorry for calling you emotionless. I'm sorry for starting all the teasing back in middle school. Denken Sie daran, intelligent zu bleiben. I'm sorry.'"

Something finally clicked. The reason why Logan-along with Patton and Virgil-was pulled aside was because they were mentioned in the letter. Logan had planned on telling the two later. Logan had felt something stinging at his eyes. And before he knew it, he was...crying, as people call it.

"'Goodbye, cruel cruel world. I know you won't miss me. But I'll be watching from up above.

"'Sincerely,
Roman 'Princey' Prince."

The principal, who had shed a few tears herself, had finally finished. The room was filled with silence for a few moments before the principal spoke up into the microphone again.

"Thank you all for listening. School is over for the day. Call your parents, walk, or drive home. Miss Galaxy is out. And remember, if you had-or, if you do feel like Romam did-please, just come talk to me about it. Or the guidance consular. Or any of the teachers. Just...talk to at least someone about it."
