Anywho, enjoy!

It was finally warm enough to where all the snow had melted and many of the plants had begun to bud and grow leaves, but still cold enough that there was a chill in the air even if it was sunny.

Virgil couldn't help feeling excited as he, Roman, Logan, and Patton rode in a carriage towards a small beach house his parents owned. Of course, they'd been a little bit hesitant to let him leave the castle after the poison situation, but it had been a good long while since then and they could tell Virgil was getting a bit sick of being locked inside 24/7 -even his combat training was moved indoors, and he wasn't allowed in the gardens- so they'd said that it was about time he and his boyfriends take a break again, and had insisted they see the beach house. It had been stocked with enough food to last them a week, had been freshly cleaned, and was ready and waiting for them. It was also fairly unknown, and his parents had sent guards to scout the surrounding area, and only the most trusted servants to take care of preparations.

It was still early morning since his parents had insisted they leave early so they could have the full day to settle in, it had barely been light out when they left, although Virgil assumed it was also so that fewer people saw them leave, so everyone was still a bit tired on the trip there.

Logan was asleep next to Virgil, his tallest boyfriend slumped over and cuddled close to him, an open book lying forgotten in his lap. He'd fallen asleep maybe thirty minutes into the trip, and Virgil was quick to offer his shoulder to him to rest on. Virgil himself was leaning against the wall of the carriage and had twisted into a more comfortable position so that Logan was almost draped across his chest, but not quite.

Patton was asleep too, curled up in Roman's lap with his head tucked under his chin and resting against his chest. It had started as just cuddling, but Patton had eventually fallen asleep -and Roman wasn't too far from following him.

His still awake boyfriend's eyes were drooped slightly, and he lazily carded his fingers through Patton's hair while humming softly. Virgil wouldn't be surprised if he fell asleep within the next half hour.

To be honest Virgil was on the cusp of sleep as well. He hasn't slept much the night before, and that paired with waking up early lead to a sort of exhausted excitement. He was tired and wanted to sleep, but his mind was buzzing, and couldn't relax enough for sleep.

He stilled when he heard Logan hum and shift closer to him, and couldn't help smiling as his boyfriend pressed his face into the crook of Virgil's neck.

"Aw, berry is being cute," Roman said softly from where he'd been watching the two quietly. "He hasn't been sleeping enough lately, so this'll be good for him." He added with a smile.

"You're one to talk," Virgil said, "lately the two of you have been dragged into late-night training more often than Logan stays up working, so if anything this'll be good for you and Patton." He said.

"You have a point," Roman said with a small laugh, "with the recent...incident they want us to be better prepared for things -you're officially required to be with either guards or Patton and I when leaving the castle for more than an hour."

"Lovely," Virgil said sarcastically with a groan, "I don't mind being with you guys, but it's always awkward with the guards."

"Yeah, well luckily we'll more than likely be able to be with you instead of the guards." Roman said, "like now -since Patton and I are technically guards we don't need to have any of them with us while we're at the beach house, except for the check-in they have planned for Wednesday." He continued, "which means we can have a bit of fun while we're here." He added with a smirk.

"You say that as if we haven't been planning to have some 'fun' while we're here," Virgil said with a laugh, ignoring the way his cheeks flushed brightly.

"That's true," Roman said, "I suppose we may have talked about it once or twice." He said teasingly.

"Ah yes, because deep conversations, make-out sessions, and, um, prepping ourselves is just 'once or twice'." Virgil said sarcastically, but he was smiling and his cheeks were a bright rosy red now.

"I see what you mean," Roman began, "and I am choosing to ignore it in favor of sleep."

"An honest and fair decision."

The two of them slipped into a relaxed silence after that, content to just lounge and let the soft rumbling of the carriage lull them to sleep.

Virgil was eventually woken up by someone gently shaking his shoulder. He groaned softly before forcing his eyes open, blinking a few times to adjust to the light, before focusing on Logan, who was looking down at him with a fond smile on his face.

"Sorry to wake you, but we've arrived and need to take our stuff into the house so the carriage can leave." Logan said as he moved his hand to cup Virgil's cheek, which he sleepily leaned into, "Roman and Patton are already inside with some of the stuff, they woke up a few minutes ago." He added.

"Okay," Virgil said with a hum before he sat up and stretched with a small groan. "Any idea what time it is?" He asked.

"Some time in the early noon," Logan said as he gently took Virgil's hand and lead him out of the carriage, "it's still a bit chilly out, but it's quite beautiful."

It was really pretty outside, the house was perched on a low slope of a hill that over looked the beach, and was far enough away from the water that there was no possible way the water could reach it, even in the case of storms and such. There were lush trees everywhere, some evergreen with fresh needles that made the air smell crisp and fresh, and some with their newest set of leaves that had recently unfurled from their buds on the branches. There were a few types of flowers here and there that virgil could see, but he didn't know their names. The sky was a pale blue and had large fluffy clouds painted across it, and he caught sight of a few seagulls as well.

The house itself was two stories, but still very small. It was painted a pale but sunny yellow with white trimming. The roof was a pale brown with sturdy looking shingles, and the large porch at the front of the house was painted white and had a swinging bench attached to one side and several other chairs and two small circular tables on the other side, the entire porch surrounded by a criss crossing white railing that had twisting vines woven through it -if it had been summer time it'd probably look much nicer, but the vines were still brown and dried at the current time, with only a few tiny green buds.
Several large windows could be seen along the front part of the house, all covered with what looked like pale blue or white curtains from the inside, and a few had stained glass trinkets dangling from their frames.

Logan and Virgil quickly got their bags, the last of the stuff left to bring into the house apparently, and began to make their way up the stone path that lead to the porch.

The wood creaked softly but seemed sturdy and just well worn over the years, and stepping inside the house he could see the inside was also well loved.

They were in the living room now, and Virgil could see a kitchen farther back into the house and another door, and to the left he could see a hallway that most likely held the staircase.
The floors were wooden, but there was a large circular rug in the center of the living room with two over stuffed arm chairs and a love seat around it, and a small coffee table on the rug near the love seat. There was a fire place on the left wall of the room, and a bookshelf next to it. The mantle of the fireplace was covered in trinkets -shells, agates, twisting peices of drift wood, a small painting, and a few other nicknacks. There were a couple of lamps too, a tall one in the corner near the book shelf, and a smaller one on a side table next to one of the arm chairs.

"Logan! Virgil! Come look at the bedroom!" Pattons excited voice called from upstairs, and Logan and Virgil shared an amused glance before walking further into the house and down the hallway, ignoring the two doors that lined the walls and instead heading up the wooden staircase that was at the end of the hall.

The satires lead up to a small landing that wrapped around in an O shape, and the wall they were facing had a window that was covered with sheer white curtains with tiny embroidered starfish around the hem.
On either side of the gap for stair case we're walking ways, making the O shape, and along those walls were doors, one on each side, and then where the two joined again on the other side of the gap where the two walkways joined there was a single door on the wall.
There were small decorations here too, small paintings of fish, birds, and scenery hung on the walls, and a few potted plants that seemed far to alive for this time of year -someone must come to take care of them.

The far door was open, and Virgil could hear both Patton and Roman talking from in the room, and couldn't help smiling when he heard Patton laugh.

He and Logan quickly walked along the walkway and entered the room, which Patton and Roman had apparently decided was going to be the room the four stayed in.

It was a very large room -most likely the master bedroom. There were two dark wooden wardrobes on either side of the room when you walked in, tucked into the corners closest to the door. There was a desk off to the side on the left wall that faced a window that had been opened with the curtains pulled away, revealing a beautiful view of the beach and the ocean that glimmered in the midday sun. Straight forwards from the doorway sat a large -surprisingly large in fact- four poster bed that had two layers of curtains -the outer were sheer, but the inner ones were thick and would block out the light or unwanted eyes. It had soft lavender and lilac colored sheets, and the curtains were similar shades of purple, except for the sheer outer ones, those were white. The hem of the curtains had large flowers embroidered into them, and the silky looking blankets also had flowers embroidered along their hems. At the foot of the bed there was a large trunk, and at the head of the bed there was a large mound of soft looking white pillows. On either side of the bed were small side tables -each with a small lamp sitting on them. The right wall had another window that overlooked the rest of the hillside behind the house, and the garden that was apparently in the backyard -except nothing was really in season at the moment so there were only a few sprouts. More ocean themed paintings lined the walls as well, and the wall paper was a soft off-white color with a bit of a yellowish tint, and the wooden floor was covered in a thick dark purple rug.

Patton was spread out like a starfish on the bed, a large smile on his face, and Roman was standing next to the window that over looked the ocean, a small smile on his face. The sun made his skin and hair practically glow, his eyes gleamed beautifully too, and Virgil was suddenly struck with the strong desire to kiss him -on the lips, on his cheeks, his jaw, against his neck, down down down and every where he could physically kiss. He wanted to bath him in love, shower him in affection, and then absolutely drown him in pleasure. Even from here he could see the bags under his boyfriends eyes -and even though Virgil knew he himself had bags under his eyes as well, it wasn't nice to see them under Romans eyes, especially when his boyfriend usually had near perfect skin. All Virgil wanted to do at this point was just make him rest and relax -and the same went for Patton too, who looked equally tired and worn out.

Both of them perked up when Virgil and Logan poked their heads into the room, and Patton smiled brightly at them as he sat up.

"This bed is like a cloud -it's so soft and bouncy!" He said with a grin. "And the view is really pretty." He added.

"It looks very comfortable," Virgil said with a nod of agreement as he set his bag down off to the side, before walking over to Roman, who causally wrapped his arms around Virgil's waist with a smile. Virgil vaguely noticed Logan moving to sit on the bed with Patton, but then he became too distracted. Falling into the urge from moments before, Virgil leaned up and pressed a kiss to Romans lips, internally smiling when roman hummed softly and kissed him back, his hold on Virgil's waist tightening slightly.

Virgil's hands moved up and tangled themselves in Romans hair, which was as soft and silky as always. His eyes had slipped closed and after a few seconds he shifted slightly and nibbled against Romans bottom lip playfully -and he could practically feel it when his boyfriends tense muscles melted like butter and he leaned deeper into the kiss, a rumbling groan resonating from his throat that sent pleasant shivers down Virgil's spine.

He pulled Roman closer and bit into his bottom lip a bit harder before slowly pulling away from the kiss, ignoring the small strand of saliva that connected their mouths in favor of looking up at roman. His boyfriends eyes opened slowly, but then they caught the light from outside just right and absolutely glowed. His pupils were blown wide, his gaze was soft and almost sleepy, his bottom lip was bright red and Virgil could see the spots he'd nipped at.

He let his hands slide down from where they'd still been tangled in Romans hair, and moved them down his boyfriends shoulders, down his chest, and to his waist, where he let his fingers press down and gently dig into the muscle there.

"I might need to give you a massage later," Virgil said, flexing his fingers and pressing against the tense muscles there, "you're really tense." He added.

"That'd be wonderful," Roman said with a smile as he leaned forwards slightly and rested his head on Virgil's shoulder, "I'll look forward to it."

"Good, cause it's gunna happen tonight after we take a bath." He said with a laugh as he shifted his hold on Roman, wrapping his arms around his waist to hug him instead, "and I can give the two of you a massage as well." He added as he tilted his head to look over at Logan and Patton, both of which were still comfortably sitting on the bed with Patton halfway laying in Logan's lap, his head pillowed by Logan's thighs.

"I appreciate the offer but I'm good for today," Logan said, "though I can give Patton a massage in your place if he wants one, since you'll be busy with Roman." He offered.

"Whatever you want to do is fine with me," Virgil said with a shrug as Roman pulled away from their hug.

"Well then, if you'd like I can give you a massage later when Virgil's taking care of Roman." Logan said, his words directed towards the rather sleepy looking Patton still half laying in Logan's lap.

"That sounds really nice but you don't have to if you don't want to." Patton said.

"Nonsense," Logan said with a fond smile, "I am more than willing to give you a massage later tonight, I'm happy to actually." He added.

Virgil could see Pattons cheeks flush from where he was standing across the room, and the sweet smile that spread across his lips, "okay, thank you love." Patton said as he sat up and pressed a kiss to Logan's cheek.

The four of them then went back down and waved goodbye to the coachmen from the porch as the carriage began the trip back to Corona, officially leaving the four of them alone for the next week, at least.

"What should we do first?" Virgil asked as they all stepped back into the house.

"We could make some lunch and then head down to the beach, or explore the rest of the house." Patton suggested.

"Lunch and then the beach sounds nice to me," Roman said, "we could try and find a nice place to have a picnic tomorrow or something." He suggested.

"Oooh that sounds like fun!" Patton said with a bright smile.

They quickly went about making lunch, which ended up being a simple yet tasty batch of cheesy tomato soup that Patton and Roman made, along with sliced bread.

"This week is going to be so much fun," Patton said, dipping some of his bread into his soup. "I hope the weather is good, I want to spend time with you guys in the sun."

"You can never tell with the beach," Roman said, "one day it's sunny and warm, the next it's raining and cold -heck the weather can change from sunny to raining in an hour."

"It's unlikely that our entire stay will have nice weather, but it currently looks good, so we can assume that the next few hours will be nice." Logan said, taking a sip of his water.

"I'm hoping the weather doesn't get too bad -but if it does then I'm sure we can find some fun things to do inside!" Patton said with a bright smile.

"I can think of some fun things we can do inside."

"Roman!"

After they'd finished eating they went about getting changed into more appropriate clothing for the beach -cropped pants because of the sand, light shirts and jackets as well since it was still cold out and would be windy along the beach.

"Can we look for seashells?" Patton asked as he walked next to Virgil, their hands clasped between them as they made their way down the stone path that lead back to the road.

"Sure, I think that'd be fun." Virgil said as he gently squeezed Pattons hand, returning his boyfriends excited smile.

"Oh! We could also find some flat and smooth rocks that you could paint on! That'd be cool!" Patton added with a grin, and Virgil couldn't help but pause at that.

He'd been so busy lately, busy since he'd officially started his life as a prince actually, that he'd had little time to just sit and indulge himself in painting, or sewing, or baking -of course he could do all of those things when he had time if he wanted to, it'd just slipped his mind. But the idea of painting seemed so appealing now, maybe he could look into painting some more when they got home -he doubted there were any paints back at the house.
It'd actually surprised him that Patton brought up the painting, since he couldn't recall if he'd ever mentioned liking the hobby to him, but he might have and just forgotten, or Patton might have taken a hint when he'd seen the tower and the paintings that he'd made on the walls.

They quickly located a set of wooden stairs that lead down to the actual beach, and Patton excitedly pulled Virgil along while Romans and Logan followed close behind them. The stairs were sun bleached and well worn from age and the weather, but were actually rather sturdy and solid and had still-budding bushes and dead vines lining each side.

The sand was cool to the touch, soft yet coarse, and easily gave way under their feet.

Patton was quick to kick his shoes off, and Virgil and the others quickly followed the action, tucking their shoes underneath the edge of the stairs just in case, before heading out.

Patton linked arms with Virgil and cheerfully told Roman and Logan that the two of them were going to search for some rocks and shells, before setting off down the beach with Virgil.

Eventually their linked arms slid down until they were simply holding hands again, the two of them staring at the ground as they combed their eyes through the sand in search of shells, agates, or flat rocks. They weren't doing so well in the shell department, only finding broken shells or just pieces of shells, but they'd found a couple of cool rocks and agates, but no flat rocks that Virgil wanted to paint on.

"I found you another rock," Virgil said after he stood straight from bending down a second ago.

He couldn't help smiling at Patton perked up and dropped the broken shell he'd been debating on keeping, in favor of turning to Virgil with an excited smile.

Virgil held his hand out and showed Patton the small egg-shaped rock he's found. It was smaller than an acorn, and made of some sort of clear quarts, with small speckles and veins of some rusty red rock running through it.

"Ooh it's so pretty! I bet I could make a necklace or something out of it." He said as he carefully plucked it out of Virgil's palm, before tucking it into his pocket. "Thank you," he said, giving Virgil a quick peck in the lips like he'd done every other time Virgil had offered him a rock or a shell -the reoccurrence did nothing to stop him from blushing each time though.

They continued their way down the beach, occasionally stopping to look at rocks and shells before Patton gasped softly and pointed to something a next to a few rocks.

"Look it's a jelly fish!" He said, before all but dragging Virgil over to it.

There was indeed a small, clear blob of a jelly fish on the sand, no bigger than Pattons palm, and if you looked closely you could see the edges faintly twitching and squirming.

"Oh it's still alive! I'm going to help it." Patton said, letting go of Virgil's hand in favor of reaching down and carefully scooping the small blob up. "It's one of those moon jellies, so it's safe to touch." He quickly added before Virgil could tell him no.

"Oh," Virgil said, "um, can I touch it?" He asked, eyeing the clear jelly-like blob in Pattons hands.

"Sure! Just be gentle and stuff." His boyfriend said as he held the small blob out towards Virgil, who hesitated for a few seconds before gently running his fingers over its smooth surface, only using a small bit of pressure. It was smooth and slimy, but also firm and squishy -kind of like pudding.

"Want to come with me to put it in the water?" Patton asked, and Virgil nodded as he pulled his hand away.

The two walked down to the water, and Virgil couldn't help shivering slightly when it lapped at their ankles and shins. He watched as Patton bent down and gently placed the jellyfish into the water, letting the waves take it away before standing up straight again, shaking his now cold and wet hands.

"We should probably head back to Roman and Logan now, it's been a while and we've moved pretty far down the beach." Patton said as the two of them walked out of the cold water.

"Okay," Virgil said as he looked back the way they'd come, and saw that Patton was right. They had come pretty far -he couldn't even see Roman and Logan or the stairs, and a soft fog had crept down over the hill and hidden the house too.

The two began the walk back, still looking for any rocks and shells that might have washed up while the tide had been going out or that they'd missed, their hands once again held tightly between the two of them.

They eventually got back to the part of the beach the stairs were at, and easily spotted Roman and Logan sitting in the sand next to some large rocks not too far away from the stairs. Roman was straddling Logan's lap, the two of them facing each other, with Logan's arms wrapped around Romans waist. Romans head was pillowed against Logan's shoulder, and he was draped across Logan's chest in a loose hug. Logan, who had apparently brought a book down with him or had gone to get one at some point, had his chin hooked over Romans shoulder and was comfortably reading his book with one hand while absentmindedly rubbing at Romans spine with the other, only pausing to turn the page when necessary.

"Aw you guys look so cute." Patton said when he and Virgil were close enough to them.

Roman just hummed softly and snuggled closer to Logan, who had closed his book and smiled at them.

"Welcome back," he said as he set his book down before re-securing his hold on Romans waist, "did you guys have fun?" He asked.

"We did! We found a bunch of cool rocks and a few shells, and we found a jellyfish!" Patton said excitedly as he moved to sit in the sand next to Logan, and Virgil moved to sit down across from both of them.

"It was one of the moon ones yes?" Logan said, cocking an eyebrow at him, "you didn't just pick up a random jellyfish right?"

"No no, I made sure it was one of the moon jellies -it was clear and had the clover looking thing in it." Patton reassured.

"Good, we wouldn't want to have to go back to Corona so soon because someone got stung."

"Logan, that was one time." Patton said with a whine and a small pout.

"Once is more than enough for me to express my concern."

"Once is also more than enough for me to learn to be more careful."

"I suppose you have a point."

"What happened?" Virgil asked, tilting his head curiously.

"Oh, a few years ago we were by the coast at some point and Patton had decided he wanted to help a jellyfish he'd found washed up on shore -but unfortunately it was a sea nettle and not a moon jellyfish." Logan began, "a moon jellyfish's stingers and toxins have next to no effect on humans, but a sea nettles stingers and toxins can be rather painful."

"Basically I picked it up, only to get stung and immediately drop it, but some of the stingers had stuck to my skin and tore off from the jellyfish, so I had to wait for Logan to find a stick to get them off with so that he didn't get stung or make it any worse on my hands." Patton said, "my hands hurt for the next few days even with the special cream from an apothecary we'd managed to buy and the bandages over them." He added.

"Oh, I'm sorry," Virgil said, "what do sea nettles look like?" He asked.

"They're usually a red or brown color, and have long ruffle-like tentacles called 'oral arms' and much thinner tentacles used for stinging and capturing their prey." Logan said, "they're very different from moon jellies -which have short oral arms that aren't as ruffled, have much shorter stingers, and are clear with maybe a blueish tint and a clover-like mark on their bodies." He explained.

"Okay, so moon jellyfish good, sea nettles bad, I'll try to remember that." Virgil said.

"Good plan." Patton said with a nod as he leaned to the side against Logan's shoulder, the same one Romans head was pillowed against, and pressed a kiss to his dozing boyfriends temple, earning a small hum from him.

"We should most likely head back up soon." Logan said, "I know Roman is about ready for a nap, and you don't look to far from one either Patton." He said, glancing over as Patton used his shoulder as a pillow too. "We can go take a nap or at least cuddle for a bit and then have an early dinner if you want."

"That sounds nice." Virgil said, "then after dinner we can take a bath and get started on those massages." He added, Logan nodding in agreement.

Patton was easy to get up again, since he hadn't actually managed to doze off yet, but Roman was a bit more difficult.

"I can't carry you up the stairs, no matter how much I wish I could, I physically cannot." Logan said as he tried to coax Roman to get up.

"But berry," Roman mumbled with a whine, "you're warm and comfy, and the sand is cold and I don't wanna touch it."

"If you walk to at least the top of the stairs I can carry you the rest of the way." Virgil offered.

"Nooo..." Roman whined again.

Logan sighed softly, and leaned forwards to whisper something in Romans ear. After a few seconds of silence Roman huffed softly and begrudgingly pulled away from Logan.

"You're cuddling with me when we get back to the house." He said, poking a finger at Logan's chest, before he reluctantly crawled out of his lap. "The second the couch or a chair or whatever is in range to comfortably fall on you better bet your cute ass I'm dragging you down to cuddle."

"I will prepare myself for the inevitable then." Logan said as he stood up and brushed the sand off of his pants, ignoring his now faintly flushed cheeks.

The four of them quickly made their way to the stairs and then up to the road again after grabbing their shoes, Patton and Virgil once again holding hands as they walked and began to head up the path that lead up to the house, Patton excitedly talking about a recipe he might make for dinner, which Virgil agreed to help make when Patton asked if he wanted to.

Roman kept his word from before, making a beeline to the loveseat -practically dragging an amused Logan with him- before collapsing onto the overstuffed cushions and pulling Logan down with him, humming as he got comfortable with Logan laying across him.

"If this is uncomfortable or if I'm crushing you then tell me and I can move to a better position," Logan said, only to be shushed by Roman, who put a finger to Logan's lips.

"You aren't crushing me, the pressure feels nice and comforting, so don't worry about me and get comfortable because I don't know how long I'm keeping you here, but it's going to be for a good long while."

"Alright, but if anything gets uncomfortable then let me know and we can change positions." Logan said, before carefully making himself comfortable and tucking his head under Romans chin while Roman secured his hold around Logan, one of his hands gently rubbing at his spine higher up on his back, while the other laid firmly on the small of his back just above the hem of his pants.

"Wanna cuddle with me?" Patton asked as he turned to Virgil with a bright smile, "they can't be the only ones having fun -unless you don't want to cuddle, which is okay." He quickly added.

"Nah cuddling sounds pretty nice." Virgil said, returning Pattons smile. "we can get comfortable in one of the armchairs if you want."

"Sure!" Patton said, his smile growing just that much brighter -somehow- before he took Virgil's hand and lead him to the armchair. "How should we sit?" He asked.

"You can sit in my lap," Virgil suggested, "If you're comfortable with that."

"That sounds nice," Patton said, pressing a kiss to Virgil's cheek.

Virgil returned the kiss before sitting down, shifting a bit to get comfortable. "Hmm, I don't know if I'll sleep actually -one second." He said as he stood up again, and walked over to the bookshelf, scanning over the titles before grabbing one that seemed interesting.

"Okay," he said as he quickly sat back down and put the book on the small side table next to the chair, "I'm ready when you are."

Patton laughed softly before he crawled into Virgil's lap, straddling him as he got comfortable. He was chest to chest with Virgil, his knees tucked in on either side of Virgil's hips, his arms looped around his torso securely, and his face pressed into the crook of Virgil's neck.

"Nice and comfortable?" Virgil asked as he let one of his arms loop around Pattons waist and gently rub at his lower back.

Patton hummed and nodded, "yeah, you're comfy." He said, "and you smell nice." He added, which made Virgil's cheeks flush.

"Oh yeah? I'm not all sweaty and stinky?" He asked teasingly as he fiddled with the waist line of Pattons pants, idly picking at the fabric.

"No," Patton said, pressing a kiss to Virgil's neck, "you smell like honey and sea salt." He said, "makes me want to eat you up, like a special treat." He added as he gently nipped at a tender spot on Virgil's neck.

Virgil's blush darkened, and he pressed his face into Pattons shoulder with a small whine. "Pat, I don't think neck kisses and biting are a part of cuddling -that's almost making-out territory."

"What if I changed my mind?" Patton asked as he leaned back to look at Virgil's flushed face, "can we make out instead? And then cuddle?" He asked with a small pout.

"Hmm, I don't know about that," Virgil said teasingly, "you seemed pretty sleepy earlier, why if you fall asleep in the middle of a kiss?"

"I don't think I will," Patton said as he trailed his fingers up and carded a hand through Virgil's hair. "I'm fairly certain you could keep me awake."

"Could I?" Virgil asked, before groaning softly as Patton leant forwards and pressed an open mouth kiss to a sensitive spot on his neck, beginning to suck a hickey there.

He pulled back with a soft popping sound a minute or so later, pressing a few sweet kisses to the red mark he'd left before looking back up at Virgil.

"Can I kiss you?" He asked softly, gently pulling at Virgil's hair in a way that made his boyfriends eyes flutter.

"Please do."

Then Patton was on him, pressing him back into the overstuffed cushion of the arm chair and pulling his hair more, earning a soft moan from Virgil as he absolutely devoured his mouth, gently sliding his tongue inside when Virgil eagerly parted his lips.

He didn't pull away until Virgil was squirming beneath him, and they were both left gasping, faces flushed, until Patton moved to make a trail of hickies down his boyfriends neck, from his jaw down to his collarbone -unbuttoning his shirt when he wanted to go lower. Virgil's head was still tilted back from Pattons hold on his hair, so his neck was thoroughly exposed and easy to mark up, all of the sensitive areas on display for his boyfriend to play with.

"Hmm, so pretty," Patton hummed softly as he began to pepper every inch of Virgil's exposed skin with kisses, playfully nipping at the hickeys as he passed over them, kissing his way back up to his lips, "pretty pale skin, beautiful eyes, soft silky hair, perfect lips, sweet moans," he continued, each word making Virgil's blush darkened and darken, "such a pretty pretty boyfriend," he added, before cutting himself off with a small yawn, quickly reaching tho to cover his mouth.

Virgil couldn't help laughing softly, "come on Pat, let's cuddle now -you can take a nap," he said as he gently pulled Patton's hand down from where it had been tangled in his hair, his fingers letting go without protest.

Patton hummed again and nodded, "Okay, I'll give you more kisses later," he said, before leaning his head back down to rest his head on Virgil's shoulder again.

"Not until I've given you some kisses in return first," Virgil said, pressing a kiss to Pattons temple.

"Okay," Patton said with another yawn, and Virgil couldn't help smiling as he held Patton closer, gently rubbing his back.

Patton was asleep in less than a minute, and Virgil shifted slightly to get a bit more comfortable before picking up the book he'd grabbed before so he could read for a bit while they cuddled. He wasn't that tired at the moment, so he was content to sit and read while the others napped.
