[One day while clearing the 2F...]

[Maverick meets up with Kirito, Agil, and Argo]

Kirito: Sorry for gathering you up like this.

Agil: Hey, I brought in some extra help.

[Kibaou appears]

Kibaou: Wait! What's the Beater doing here? What are you trying to pull, Agil?

Agil: You really need to let that go. Sorry, but this is some sort of emergency I expect. Kirito, what's the situation?

Kirito: Well I just got a word from Argo that a Kobold Lord-like monster has popped up in 1F Labryinth.

Agil: Kobold Lord? You mean the Floor 1 boss is now just spawning out here?

Kibaou: What a joke! We already took that thing down.

Maverick: You mean...

Kirito: Not the time, Maverick. I can't say anything for certain, but that's why I want to go out and check. If this is true...I want all of us to take it down together.

Maverick: Or I can. I don't need you.

Kibaou: He's right. He doesn't need us.

Agil: Stop it, you two. If it turns out to be true some unsuspecting players might happen on it. We better take it down ASAP.

Kibaou: Dang, that's where my people head out into the Labryinth when they need to do some leveling up too.

Maverick: Grinding differently is bad because...?

Kibaou: Whatever. I'll work with the Beater just this once. Don't get used to it though!

Kirito: Thank you.

Agil: How are we forming up for this?

Kirito: We should split into two groups. Me and Maverick will take group A. Agil and Kibaou will take group B. Splitting into two should help keep it from focusing in on either group.

Agil: Roger that.

Kibaou: Hmph. Alrighty then.

Kirito: We got this, Maverick. Okay, everyone move out!

[The groups enter the boss room and Maverick and Kirito charge ahead. Kibaou and Agil stay back]

Kibaou: You're not going to help them either?

Agil: They got this.

Kirito: You're not stealing all the glory today, Maverick!

Maverick: What was that? I couldn't hear you over the sound of the boss vanishing because I one-shot it!

Kirito: How in the hell...?

Agil: I guess Argo was right. But why...? Did it spawn like that back in the beta?

Maverick: No. In the beta, once a Floor Boss was defeated it was gone for good.

Agil: Could it be some kind of error? No, it can't be...

Kirito: Maybe there's some hidden reason for it...

Kiabou: If there is then that just means that we might run into other Floor Bosses spawning out here too, huh...

Agil: Can't write off the possibility at least.

Kirito: Maverick should go fill Argo in about this.

Maverick: Why me?

Kirito: She requested you.

Maverick: Why?

Kibaou: Why does it matter? Just do it!

Kirito: Maverick, I know we may be rivals but I hope we can solve this together. I'll need your help and you'll need mine even if you won't admit it.

Maverick: Fine.

Kirito: What was that?

Maverick: You heard me!
