3rd Person POV

[Maverick, Koharu, and Asuna group up]

Asuna: You two have been running lots of errands.

Koharu: Now I think about it, it's true.

Maverick: I'm tired of being everyone's messanger boy.

[Koharu looks down]

Koharu POV

[Did he not enjoy hanging with me?]

Maverick POV

[I messed up. Time to fix it]

3rd Person POV

Maverick: The only good part was hanging with Koharu.

[Koharu's face lightens up]

Koharu: I had fun too!

Asuna: Well you two won't be alone. I'll be there too.

[Koharu and Asuna glare at each other. Sparks flare. Maverick is confused on what's happening]

Maverick: We might as well see Kibaou and see if they completed what he wanted.

[The three walk over to where Kibaou wanted to meet]

Koharu: Huh? I guess Kibaou isn't here yet.

Maverick: Let's wait here.

Koharu: Yeah, if we headed off and missed him I'm sure we'd never hear the end of it.

Maverick: He annoys me so much. I'm tempted to become an Orange player.

Asuna: I will not let you do that, Maverick. You are making it out of this game with us.

[Maverick sighs]

Koharu: Hey, Maverick...If we were all part of the same team, why can't everyone just work together? Kibaou just hates beta testers so much. It's almost sad to think about...

[Koharu starts to tear up. Maverick wraps his arms around Koharu]

Koharu: I mean, we're all stuck in here just the same after all. If Diavel was still around to lead, I'm sure we wouldn't have this split. He never strayed from the path.

Asuna: Maybe Maverick should lead. He's the best out of all of us. Well, maybe besides Kirito.

Maverick: They wouldn't follow me. Anyway, Divael had a lot on his mind too.

[Maverick lets Koharu go]

Koharu: Did he? I guess everyone's got something locked away. It'd the people who can get past that who find true strength. At least, when I see you that's what I think...

[Maverick blushes. He looks away in embarrassment]

Asuna: I feel the same.

Maverick: Stop it! You both got strength too.

Koharu: You think so? If so, it's all thanks to you. You've just got this air about you.

[Maverick blushes again]

Maverick: Stop it!

[Kibaou walks over]

Kibaou: What are you guys doing here?

Maverick: Just checking to see if you did your errand.

Kibaou: We did. We didn't need you.

Maverick: Didn't think so.

Kibaou: I'm going to regret asking this but you two feel like joining up? Beats fighting alone, eh?

Maverick: No, sorry.

Kibaou: Figured. Now don't go tellin' me you're 'bout to go fly the Dragon Knight's banner.

Koharu: We're still in training, really. I think we're just gonna stand aside and take things at our pace for now.

Maverick: I know you only wanted my girls. You didn't want me.

[Kibaou growls. Koharu and Asuna blush]

Koharu/Asuna: "My girls."

Kibaou: Whatever.

[Kibaou walks away]

Maverick: He's got some nerve.

[Koharu and Asuna are still blushing]

Maverick: What's wrong?

Koharu/Asuna: We're fine.

[Kirito appears]

Kirito: Yeah, I saw that. Maverick, you're kind of dense.

Maverick: Want to say that again?

Kirito: I'm good. Listen, I have a favor to ask you. Let's meet at Natural Cave. I'll see you there.

[Kirito walks away]

Asuna: Why did he assume we'd follow?

Maverick: Let's follow. We got nothing better to do.

Asuna: You're just doing it so he will owe you one.

Maverick: Correct.
