Natsu didn't wait up for Gray, Natsu had too much energy, as always.  Natsu had a smile on his face, his sharp fangs exposed to the world.

As Natsu grabbed his bag, the one he brings with him on jobs, he pulled the doorknob of his front door open expecting to see the bright shining sun. Alas, instead he saw the dreary colored sky and rain falling pretty hard.  Natsu didn't need an umbrella, but Gray would. Natsu pulled out his dragon themed umbrella and placed it on the inner doorknob for Gray.

Gray was up in his room getting dressed, and ready. Showering, brushing his teeth, drying off, getting dressed, and blow-drying his hair. Gray's daily procedure. It wasn't anything special, He did it every day. Gray felt different though, doing it in Natsu's house he didn't hear the loud sirens or the yelling from the rowdy neighbors across the hall. No, he heard the birds chirping and peaceful nature sounds.

Gray wondered if Natsu took notice in that, Gray has known Natsu to have an underlying love for nature. Whether it was comments about forests, or flowers, or complaining about humans destroying it.

Natsu kept himself dry in the rain, due to how warm his body was because of his magic. Natsu had silently wondered if the rain was Juvia's doing or whether it was natural rain. Natsu sighed, starting to jog as the guild hall came into view. The closer Natsu got, the more worried he became. The guild was quiet. The last time that had happened, Let's say they went to war with Phantom Lord.

Natsu's smile was wiped off his face when he was informed. No wonder the Guild was silent,  Everyone was speechless. No one knew what to say,  No one had anything to say. The silence itself spoke leagues though.  The silence said, that we wouldn't stand for this.

Erza approached Natsu at Team Natsu's normal table about the job they were still going on.  This unpleasant revelation wasn't going to stop them.

Gray finally made his way to Natsu, Erza, Lucy, Happy, Wendy, and Carla.
"Guys, why is the guild so... quiet?" Gray felt unsettled, out of the loop, and honestly a little bit afraid of the answer.

"A dark guild attacked Nab." Erza clenched her fist, "He's recovering."

"You left out the part where the dark guild promised to wipe us all out one by one." Lucy slumped her mood in shambles.

"What the Hell?! Erza, Were going after the guild right?" Gray growled, his blood began to boil, Nobody was going to do that to his guildmate and get away with it.

"Later. We still have a job to do. Additionally, you'll be pleased to know that Team ShadowGear, The Thunder Legion and Mira are out there already confronting them. We will be going tomorrow to confront them. The whole guild is getting their revenge. Don't worry, Gray.

"Fine." Gray pursed his lips, "So the job?"

"We're teaching kids." Wendy smiled.

"Teaching?" Natsu wasn't good at that, nor was he the best at Learning. He had never taken a job like this before in his life. He was a little bit nervous.

"Teaching. Wendy will be teaching Dragon history, I will be teaching Sword Fighting, Natsu will be teaching Cerulian (Language), Gray will be teaching sculpting, Lucy will be teaching writing." Erza announced their roles while suggesting that Happy and Carla stay with Natsu and Wendy.

"How the hell did you know I spoke Cerulean fluently?" Natsu didn't flaunt the fact that he knew more than one language, in fact, Natsu's birthparents spoke Cerulean thus he knew the language before Japanese or English.

"We asked Happy what Languages you were fluent in." Erza patted Happy's head.

"Oh."

Team Natsu traveled by train to a nearby village, Not without Natsu almost puking up his guts and Gray being seated as far away from Natsu, not fancying the idea of puke on his clothes. Fortunately, the children of the small village they were temporarily teaching at, were mostly nice kids, and relatively obedient. After several hours of teaching these kids, Team Natsu was on their way back to Mongolia.

When they got off the train, they all stopped at a nearby cafe for a couple of minutes.

"Hey, Wendy?" Lucy asked the blue-haired kind-hearted soul,

"Yeah?"Wendy smiled.

"I heard that Dragons hoard Gold and precious gems and such." Lucy held up a book about dragons that she had been reading lately.

"Uhh Yeah, all dragons do that to some degree, but Fire dragons have generally way more than other dragons." Wendy glanced at Natsu for a split second.

Everyone looked at Natsu,

"She's right. Fire dragons love shiny stuff, anything gold, or riches like gems."  Natsu had a brief memory of Igneels mounds of gold, gems, riches, and shiny objects.

"Is that why there's a mound of golden things in your room?" Happy giggled

Natsu glared at him, "Yes, and thanks for calling me out on that, Happy."

Gray made a note to look at Natsu's 'heap of golden things' when he got back.

Team Natsu laughed at Natsu's habit.

"Gray, did you find the umbrella I left you on the door?" Natsu asked, meeting Gray's dark blue eyes.

"Yeah, thanks." Gray smiled for a split second before getting up, "C'mon guys lets go."
