We were all at camp.
The power had been shut off while we were gone, so we used a gas stove in the kitchen to the house.
Zoë cooked up some ramen because she was very picky, and threw rest of us ate what we got.
"So," Jack sighed.
Everyone looked up at him.
"When do you think we're going to get out of this place called a 'resort'?" He made quotation marks with his fingers.
"I hope sometime soon." Phil replied with a unexplainable look on his cute face.
Dan put an arm around him, and kissed his cheek.
Zoë's eyes went wide and she screamed.
All of us had the shit scared out of us.
"Phan is real, Phan is real, PHAN IS REAL!!" She yelled excitedly.
The boys smiled at her.
"Please keep it a secret." Dan told her.
She held out her pinkie and held up her hand to show she wouldn't break the sacred secret. "I promise."
Both of them latched their pinkies onto hers to keep it a promise.
And that promise shall not be broken.
We all were pretty quick eaters so we sat there, bored out of our minds.
Out of the blue, Mark's face lightened up and he ran to get something.
He came back with a guitar.
We all cheered and lit some candles.
Mark asked some song recommendations.
He played all of them and Zoë did this weird dance that made us laugh eternally.
We stayed up late.
We were all drinking (besides Zoë) and Jack slid his glass over to her.
"What are you doing?" She asked.
"Have a sip of beer." He smiled at her.
She took a big gulp.
She smiled, proud of herself before her expression turned upside down.
She began drinking loads of water and trying to spit some beer out on the floor.
She laid on the ground, defeated by the drink.
"Screw you." She pointed at Jack.
We were all joking and laughing when we heard a loud bang coming from the side of the house.
Zoë was the first to hear it.
"Guys, shut up." She told us.
Another tap came again.
A few of us grabbed pans.
Zoë ran to where the umbrella basket was and pulled out a baseball bat.
"ZOË, WHAT THE HELL!?" Dan whisper shouted.
She shushed him and crept her way to the wall.
She put her ear up against it to hear it come from the window.
The glass started to break.
She aimed her bat.
The glass shattered.
A hairless bluish colored human creature lunged for her.
She swung her bat and you could hear the crack of a skull and blood splattered on the floor.
"And that ladies and gentlemen, is how you make a home run."
She bowed.
