We arrived at the Seoul National University Hospital and Minji lead the way. Nobody had a  problem with her just walking through the hospital like she owned the place with us at her heel.

She walked through a pair of double door and gestured for us to come in.

"Appa!" Minji smiled, walking up and giving her dad a hug.

"Hello, cherry blossom," Dr Choi smiled at his daughter. Cherry blossoms must be Minji's favourite flower or something.

Minho, Yuri and Alex bowed down in greeting, Q, Florian and I following suit.

"Please, no need for formalities," Dr Choi laughed, "Now, my daughter told me of the situation. Please give my regards to Mr Kim the next time you see him. When I'm free I'll drop by to visit Dae, maybe even tomorrow."

      "We will," Minho promised.

"Right, so I searched through all the birth records up until the year when Dae's parents got married," Dr Choi said, pulling out some files.

"I told him the date of their wedding," Minji explained to clear any confusion.

"I found a record saying that Dae's mom gave birth two twins, one was Dae, another was a girl," Dr Choi went on.

"So Dae has a sister?" Q stated more than questioned.

"Yes, and as far as we know she should still be alive," Dr Choi said, "There's nothing to suggest that the baby girl died at birth or that fell ill and died."

Minho pulled out his phone and facetimed someone.

"Hello?" A voice came through. It was Mr Kim.

"Appa, hi, it's Minho. Dae has a sister," Minho said.

"Yes, Bora," Mr Kim sounded confused.

"No, no, no, what I mean is, Dae has another sister, other than Bora. He has a twin sister who is alive somewhere. It must be her that donated the blood," Minho explained.

There was silence on the other end.

"Impossible," Mr Kim's voice sounded shaky, "T-the baby died."

"What?" I exclaimed, I grabbed the phone and placed on the desk so everyone could be seen.

"Dae was the first one to be born, the baby girl, Duri we called her, was born nine minutes later," Mr Kim began to explain, "The nurses took away the babies to check them over to make sure everything was all right. A long time later, a nurse told us that Duri had died, they said she was too weak and couldn't breathe properly."

"But Mr Kim, there are no records saying that your baby died," Dr Choi said, "The only death records I've got from the same time is the death of a baby girl, born to Mr Min and Mrs Yang."

"As in Yoo-Jung's parents? So they had another daughter before they had Yoo-Jung?" Minji asked.

     "Who's Yoo-Jung?" I asked.

"Yoo-Jung Min is a prodigy pianist, her parents and my parents are close friends," Minji replied.

"They're from the Min group we were telling you about earlier," Yuri added.

"Oh, I see," I nodded, understanding.

"Wait a minute, that can't be right," Dr Choi muttered, frowning at the files in his hand.

  "What's wrong?" Minho asked.

"Yoo-Jung's birthday is the same date as the baby they lost, in fact, they're the same age," Dr Choi said, "They didn't have another baby, cause Yoo-jung is their first child."

"But how come the records say that she died then?" Alex asked.

"Maybe it was a mistake?" Florian suggested, "Maybe they got it mixed up when writing out the report. They were born on the same day, the Min's baby being born a few hours earlier."

"Or maybe they switched the babies!" My eyes widened.

"Come on, now, Kitty, no one can get away with that," Q said, "And anyway, even if they did switch the babies, it would mean the records would be changed or something like that."

"No, but hear me out," I said, "What if, the Min's really wanted a baby, and when they lost theirs' they were so devasted that they resorted to taking someone else's baby."

"Wait, you seriously can't be thinking that they swapped their dead baby for Dae's sister?" Minji interjected.

"The records, Kitty, the records," Minho said, "what your suggesting doesn't add up to the records."

"None of this makes sense," Alex rubbed his forehead.

"There is only one way to fully confirm if Yoo-Jung is actually Dae's sister, Duri," Dr Choi said, "Get a DNA sample."

"And how are we going to do that?" Yuri asked.

"Minji," Dr Choi turned to look at his daughter, "I know you don't want to do this to your best friend, but we need to find out the truth on what happened. Can you meet up with her and get a DNA sample?"

Minji sighed. I could see that she didn't really want to do it. "Fine, I'll arrange to meet up with her. But how am I going to get a DNA sample?" She asked.

"Her toothbrush, nail clippings, or even a strand of hair from her hair brush will work," Florian said, "Getting a blood sample will be harder."

"Her hair it is then," Minji sighed again.

"So, you're saying that Duri could still be alive?" Mr Kim asked.

I'd almost forgotten that he was still on the phone.

"Mr Kim, we'll find out the truth, don't worry," I promised. The call ended and Minho pocketed his phone again.

"Actually, I might be able to get nail clippings and a strand of her hair," Minji said. Everyone looked at her. "She's a pianist, so she has to keep her nails short. She was telling me yesterday that she should clip her nails again. I could invite her over for a sleepover and I'll clip her nails and do her hair, we always do that."

      "Great idea, Minji," Q nodded.

"Ugh, I hate having to go behind my best friends back and lie to them," Minji said, "Now I know how Dae felt."

She was talking about how Dae had to lie to me and his best friends when he was fake dating Yuri. So she knows the story.

"I'll try to get her to sleepover at my place tonight, hopefully this works, cause I would hate to have to do it twice," Minji pulled out her phone and texted her friend.

It was a week later when I went down to breakfast to the news that Dr Choi got the DNA results back.

We were now on our way back to the Seoul National University Hospital to hear the news.

Minji met as in the lobby, her facial expression betrayed her a little bit. She looked like she was in shock.

"Follow me, dad's waiting with the results," Minji said, leading the way.

"Good morning," Dr Choi greeted us as we entered his office, "Have a seat."

We all took a seat on the couches and armchairs he had in his room.

    "Well?" Minho raised an eyebrow.

"The results show that the samples have similar DNAs," Dr Choi revealed.

"So the Mins really did swap the babies," I said.

"I can't believe the Mr Min and Mrs Yang would do such a thing," Dr Choi shook his head in disbelief.

"How do we break it the poor girl?" Q asked, "It'll be the shock of her life when she finds out that he whole life has been a lie."

"But we can't not tell her," I said, "She needs to know the truth. And Mr Kim has to know that his daughter is alive, but we can't tell him unless we've told Yoo-Jung, or Duri, or whatever her name is, first. And Dae has to meet her when he wakes up."

"But how do we break this kind of news to her?" Alex asked, "All her life she thinks that Mr Min and his wife are her real birth parents. How do we tell her that she's actually been kidnapped?"

"Kidnapped?" Minji raised her eyebrows. She sighed. "I never thought of it that way, I suppose she has been kidnapped."

"I can't believe the Mins would do such a thing," Dr Choi shook his head.

"We're going to have to expose them right? Kidnapping is a crime," Minho said.

"I'd hate to have to call the cops on my own friend, but it has to be done," Dr Choi said.

"The DNA report is enough evidence, right?" Q asked.

      "Hopefully," Dr Choi nodded.

"But we still don't have the answer on how to tell Yoo-Jung, or rather, Duri, the news," Alex interjected.

"I could arrange another meet up at my place? You guys can come along too and help break the news to her?" Minji suggested.

"How soon can you arrange the meet up?" I asked.

"Maybe tonight, maybe tomorrow," Minji shrugged, "it depends on her schedule. Yoo-Jung is preparing for a concert in a few weeks so she got practice and rehearsals everyday."

"Try to arrange it for as soon as possible," Dr Choi said, "If and when Yoo-Jung confronts the Mins, then I'll report to the police."

Minji nodded, nervously wrapping her jacket around her more tightly. I recognised that varsity jacket. It's Dae's.

"I'll arrange something," Minji promised, "I'll make it seem like I've met new friends and I want to introduced them to her, which is partially true."

"Do your best, cherry blossom," Dr Choi laid a gentle hand on her shoulder.

Looks like Operation Meet Dae's Long Lost Sister is ready to go.
