The story is set after Suraj's entry in YHM and his rift with Ishita. I have made some changes here like Suraj being portrayed as Vineet and Shagun as Ashok's wife, also an addition in character, Anamika, Vineet's girlfriend.

She, Anamika Raheja, an advocate of Mumbai high court but currently she's  in Delhi for few cases. She was running around the hall, talking over the phone, trying to wear her shoes while her long time boyfriend and one of the richest business tycoon of town, Vineet Khanna stared at her sitting for his breakfast. His brother, Ashok Khanna and his wife Shagun Khanna were staring at him.

''Vineet tu breakfast kar na, humei court bhi jana hai fir.'' Ashok nudged him as they have to leave for court but his brother is busy gazing at his girlfriend who doesn't even bother to glance at him.

''Ye kis se tab se baat kar rahi hai? Kab se bula raha hoon breakfast ke liye par usse sudh hi nahi hai. Chal kya raha hai kuch samajh nahi aa raha mujhe!!" Vineet verbalizes his concern as ever since Anamika had stepped in the house two days ago, she had been busy with someone, discussing something so seriously that she seemed to have forgotten him and his existence around her.

First, when he asks her to come to Delhi and spend some time with him she straightly denies it but then suddenly she lands in Delhi and calls him from the airport to pick her.

Then, when he asks her for a favor, to fight a case for him in court she again denies as she already had a booking of a case on the same day.

And now, she's totally ignoring him. Even yesternight when he tried to spend some quality time with her, she scolded him for disturbing her and slept off.

''Vineet let her do what she wants tu toh jaldi kar, humei lawyer se bhi milna hai hearing se pehle.'' Ashok told him, this time a bit loudly.

Vineet shook his head, his brother is right he needs to reach court at time and teach that dentist a lesson who tried to mess with him. He won't spare her that easily.

Vineet let out a sigh and turned to have his breakfast - aloo paratha and curd with matar paneer.

He tore a piece of paratha, dip it in curd. But before he could take the bite Anamika held his hand and stuffed the piece in her mouth. She was still talking over the phone but seemed to be ready and so took her seat beside him. He again takes a piece and she repeats her act. The process goes round and round for several times, at the end Vineet immediately stuffs the paratha in his mouth when she gets a little more busy with the call. He smiles proudly at his act to which she indicates him to feed her, he denies, she rolled his eyes but he didn't agree with her for she too had denied several things he asked for. Especially yesternight sweet moment that she spoiled.

Without giving it second thought she smacked his head, surprising the other two while Vineet just rolled his eyes.

Anamika cut the call and put down her phone.

''Abey idiot, do din se gaana gaa rahe ho dant mei dard hai aur abhi baith ke aloo paratha aur dahi thush rahe ho, kuch akal hai ki nahi tumhe?" She scolds him and takes the plate from him, Vineet pulls back his plate.

''Toh ye na khau toh aur kya khau? Tumhe bhi pata hai mere dant mei dard hai toh banati kuch par nahi tumhe fursat hi kahan hai. Tab se matak matak ke phone pe baat kar rahi ho aur aab yahan aa ke heroine ban rahi ho.'' He roared and received another smack.

''Main tumhari maa hoon kya jo baith ke tumhare liye khana pakau? Itne servants kya jhak marne ke liye rakhe hai ghar mei? Unko bol sakte the na par nahi Vineet Khanna ki jaban sirf ladne waqt chalti hai baki jagah gunge rehenge aur jahan akal lagani ho wahan toh tumse lagta hi nahi. Bade aaye kyun nahi banaya!! Khud banao aur khao!” She scoffs and snatched the plate from him, crowding it with two more paratha and curd, Vineet glared at her.

''Aab kya aise aankhe phar phar ke mandak ki tarah dekh rahe ho mujhe. Court nahi jana tumhe? Ya wahan bhi late pahuchne ka irada hai tumhara?" She questions sarcastically stuffing her mouth with paratha.

''Tumhe bhi toh jana hai fir bhi baithi thush rahi ho na yahan.'' He replies making a wry face.

Anamika let out a sarcastic laugh,''Ashok kis school mei padhaya apne bhai ko? Ya bachpan mei gir gaya tha ye kahin? Main ek lawyer hoon late bhi gayi toh court mera wait karegi tum late gaye na toh case wahin radh kar denge tumhara fir bhagna apne uss minister ke pass sifarish ke liye.'' She taunted both the brothers.

Ashok dropped his spoon, he had enough of them. Since the time his brother and his girlfriend had entered the house, they had been fighting over one or other matters not just this but he had even seen them kissing in the hall as if they were living alone in the house.

''Vineet chal, waise bhi tune bahut time waste kar diya hai abb aur ruke toh late ho jaayega humei.'' Ashok told him in a stern voice. Vineet nods and the three leave the house.

Court Room

Vineet was sitting beside his lawyer with a straight face. He's adamant to punish the doctor at any cost and he knows his brother will always support him.

Soon, the judge arrives and asks to proceed with the case but you know that the defense lawyer hasn't arrived yet.

''Call her!! We don't have whole day to waste by waiting for someone.'' The judge ordered the lawyer's assistant who immediately took out his phone. It was at the same time that the lawyer entered the courtroom, shocking Khanna brothers as the defense lawyer was none but Anamika.

Vineet was not able to digest what he's seeing before his eyes. His own girlfriend is fighting the case against him, really? When he asks her for help she straightly denies and now she takes up a case against him. It is obvious that she knew he'll be her opponent and she was preparing so seriously for him.

''Sorry, your honor!! I was stuck in the traffic!” she defended herself.

Such a liar! Vineet thought she knew his lady was busy having her breakfast.

The judge says nothing but asks to proceed with the case. Anamika started to disclose her point that Vineet has made false accusations to her client Ishita Bhalla, who's a reputed dentist and doesn't have any complaint registered on her name in her 11 year working profession.

In reply to this the public prosecutor had his part to say. He not only accuses Ishita of being negligent while working but also involves her husband while treating a patient and her husband is not a professional doctor but a businessman. Above that Raman (Ishita's husband) had threatened Vineet and Ishika hadn't prescribed any medicine to Vineet which was very important as he was there for extraction of a tooth which had troubled him and the doctor doesn't have any pain killer to ease his pain.

Anamika laughs at his words.

''I don't know what should I say your honour. Agar kisi ki tabiyat kharab hai toh wo insaan khud bhi precautions leta hai na ki dusre ke bharose baitha rehta hai. Yes, I agree what Mr. Bhalla did was wrong and he should get punished for threatening Mr. Khanna. And about being involved in the case, I would like to throw light on that part Sir, Dr. Ishita hand fracture in her hand and her assistant was not around, Mr. Khanna was in a hurry as he had a meeting to attend. Under such circumstances she had to take help from her husband who was there to pick her for check up.'' Anamika keep her point before the court who seem to be convince with her words as she also present proofs of her saying.

''Also, Dr. Ishita had prescribed Mr. Khanna with the needed medicine which he seemed to be either unknown or maybe he didn't care to see his own reports. And I would like to add one more point here, after the extraction it is very general to almost every person that one should not eat anything for few hours but Mr. Khanna seem be extra intelligent with his un-professional knowledge, as after reaching his hotel just after half an hour of extraction he had ordered heavy meal for himself. The copy of that bill is on your table Sir, you can see how Mr. Khanna was enjoying his extraction.'' Anamika gave out her point which seemed to be valid and reasonable.

Her case is strong, Vineet has already surrendered hearing her. All that he wants now is why she chose to fight against him?

Even his own lawyer seemed to be unprepared or he too surrendered to the lady standing before him? The guy has just started his career as lawyer and facing one of the best in the country seems to have pulled down his confidence and he just remains silent sitting on his chair, doesn't even dare to rise up and oppose. Ashok nudges him, asks to fight but he doesn't. Anamika had fully taken over the charge.

Vineet now feels that his lady is gonna throw him behind the bars.

Anamika moves in the center to submit the case.

''Your honour, what I feel about the case is that it is totally baseless. Mr. Khanna was in anger because of Mr. Bhalla's involvement and in anger he filed the case against them which was very wrong and subject to monetary punishment. Not just Mr. Khanna but Mr. Bhalla is also subject to the punishment. With this, I rest my case!" Anamika finishes her statement and stands at her place.

The judge announced a 20 thousand penalty to both Vineet and Raman and a written apology to Ishita from Vineet.

Anamika let out a deep breath and smiled satisfactorily, her hard work paid off. But neither Khanna's nor Bhalla's seem to be happy.

As the judge leaves the court, Ishita questions Anamika.

''Mrs. Bhalla, what do you expect? Agar main pura blame Mr. Khanna pe dal doon ki he did things purposely toh fir aapke husband bhi jail jaate kyunki he have no right to even step in OT and you know that very well. Meine bas ek bich ka rashta nikala hai jis se aap sabhi ka faida raha. See, aapka naam bhi nahi bigada aur apke husband ko bhi kuch nahi hua. Aur waise bhi ye sab aap log apne ego ke chakkar mei kar rahe hai. Pure Delhi ko pata hai Mr. Khanna aur Mr. Bhalla ke rifts ke baare mei but I don't want to bring that here. So, let's just settled down things.'' Anamika stated in her most calm tone. Though the Bhalla's were not satisfied but let it go for they know stretching the case means ruining their name.

In no time, they left the courtroom and dispersed to their respective destination.

Anamika reached Khanna house with a sweet box. When she entered the house she found the brothers sitting with drinks and Shagun was serving them with some food.

Anamika runs to Vineet and secure her seat, she hugs him and pecks his cheek. Ashok shook his head and concentrated on his drink, he didn't want to be involved with them.

Vineet pushed her aside,''chipko maat aab, pehle pure court mei meri izzat uchal di aur aab yahan chipak rahi ho as if kuch hua hi nahi!" He taunted her.

Anamika settled aside,''oh please sukra karo I didn't ask for a severe punishment for you kyunki harkat toh tumhari aaisi hi hai still tumhara soch ke I find a midway par tumhe toh kadr hogi nahi.'' She scoffed and shouted for a servant who stood before her in seconds.

''Get me something to eat!!" Anamika ordered.

''Ma'am lunch is almost ready. Aap fresh ho jaiye, i'll serve the lunch for you.'' The head servant tells her.

Anamika nods,''what's in the lunch?" She questions to which he told her the menu, Anamika makes a face.

''I can't eat all this Punjabi cuisine. Prepare something else for me like something chinese or italian.'' She asks the guy who nods and takes his leave.

''Lekin Vineet ko toh chinese pasand hi nahi hai isiliye hum nahi banate.'' Shagun says gazing at Anamika.

''Toh?? Usse pasand nahi toh main khana chod dun?? Waise toh mujhe bhi bahut kuch pasand nahi jo ye karta hai toh kya usne wo choda? Nahi na, fir main kyun chod dun?? Please haan Shagun, don't expect such things from me. Usse kya pasand hai kya nahi wo uski problem hai meri nahi, I'm not here to pamper him, he's not a kid!!" She fires back, her tone turns harsh.

''Rehne doh Shagun, tum bhi kisse samjha rahi ho. Aaj tak kabhi isko chinta hui hai meri jo aaj hogi, all she thinks is for herself.'' Vineet taunts Anamika, indirectly.

In the other moment she holds him by collar and pulls him,''dare you talk like this about me. Aur chinta ki baat tum kari maat samjhe, tumhe kitni kis chij ki chinta hai main ache se samajhti hoon. I know kyun tumhe itni chul mach rahi hai, tum case haare na toh tumhara ego hurt ho gaya hai. Tum ladna hi chahte ho na toh lets pull out it properly.''

Vineet tries to turn away but she holds him firmly.

''Mujhe tum se behes na karni!" He exclaims but it can't do any good to him.

''Order de rahe ho mujhe?? Pehli baat toh tum Mumbai se peet ke yahan aaye ho apne bhai ke god mei baithne par iss se tum bach nahi sakte kyunki main tumko yahan bhi peet sakti hoon agar mujhe fir kuch aisa pata chala toh. Asal mei na tum kutte ki dum ki tarah ho jo seedhi nahi ho sakti. Jahan jaate ho kuch na kuch kand hi karte ho. Yahan toh tumne hadh hi kar di, pehle uss doctor se lade, uske khilaf jhoothi complaint ki fir iss se bhi chen na pada toh Mr. Bhalla ki presidentship ke piche pass gaye dono bhai, bewakoof kahin ke. Arey log khud kamate hai naam, aise harkat kar ke nahi. Par iss pe bhi tum sudhre nahi, tum match fixing tak pe utar aaye, like seriously. Abey gaddhe khud ki nahi toh meri izzat ka toh khayal karte tum, tumhari izzat bhale na ho par meri hai.'' She shouted and smacked him hard.

''Heyy!! Tum paagal ho kya?" Ashok shouted.

''Shut up!! I ain't talking to you samjhe!! Aadhi aag tumhari hi lagai hui hai, apne revenge ke liye isko use karne ka sochna bhi maat Ashok warna mujhe jara bhi time na lagega tum dauda dauda ke maarne mei aur yaad rakhna mera maara paani nahi mangta!!" She threatened the guy who raged at her words, even Vineet couldn't take such words against his brother.

''Anamika you are crossing limits!!" Vineet shouted only to get pinned on the sofa.

''Muh band rakho apna!! Jyada bhai ki tarafdaari maat karo tum, wo bhi aise bhai ki jo kissi layak nahi bas badi badi baatein karta hai. Tum jyada uske jaise banne ki koshish maat karna kyunki Shagun ka pata nahi par tum mujhe bahot ache se jante ho aur ye bhi jante ho ki main kuch ho jaaye tumhe chorne toh wali nahi. So you better behave because you know agar main tumhe sudharne pe aa gayi toh bilkul pasand na aayega wo tumhe.'' She spoke sharply, her eyes gazing at him violently to which Vineet chose to be quiet for he doesn't want to be beaten in front of his brother. Also he knows Anamika is short tempered and won't think twice before doing anything.

Though, she loves him immensely and she always expresses her love for him openly and stands by him at every point. When she's calm, she's the most decent and loving person on earth who has so much to give but if she gets angry, it's hard to please her. And at the moment, she's super furious.

But Ashok is unaware of her personality and at the moment he's raged because she points him out for no reason.
''Tum paagal ho kya?? Wo kuch keh nahi raha iska ye matlab nahi tum apni manmarji karogi samjhi!! Bahut dekhi hai tumhare jaisi meine!! Aur tum mujhe ghatiya bol rahi ho jo khud mere bhai ke saath uske paise ke liye hai. Tumhari jaisi lakho aai aur lakho gayi iske liye samjhi, tum chali bhi jao toh fark nahi padta humei, mere bhai ko tumse achi mil sakti hai tum apna socho jisse koi puchega tak nahi, wo toh mere bhai ki sharafat hai jo jhel raha hai tum jaisi psycho ko!!" Ashok spoke out all his anger while Anamika stares at Vineet and he knows what is coming next.

''Shut up Ashok!! Tujhe kisne bola hamare bich mei bolne ko? Jaa yahan se, just get lost!!" Vineet shouted at his brother who was more than shocked at his statement.

''Vineet tu...'' Ashok tried to say but he shouted again over him for interfering in his matter.

Anamika held his face between his fingers, he was still pinned on the sofa.

''You had a girlfriend? You've been in a relationship before? Didn't you say I'm the only person you ever fall in love with? Was all that a lie? Were you fooling me around by your sugary words?" She made direct questions, he can see anger and tension both in her eyes. Anger because he lied and tension that he had already shared his love with another girl before her. She can bear anything but can't share him at any cost.

His mood changes from anger to consoling and defending.

''Nahi Ana, I only love you! Meine kabhi jhooth nahi bola tum se, I swear.'' He defended himself.

She releases him and sits straight, ''fir tumhara bhai aise kyun keh raha hai? Why is he claiming ''lakho aai, lakho gayi”!?" She questions him, her voice softens.

Vineet sits up glaring at Ashok,''wo idiot hai kuch bhi bolta hai. Ashok!!! Tu apne kaam se kaam nahi rakh sakta kya? Kyun tujhe mere mamle mei tang adani hoti hai? Ulta sukra bol ke teri wajah se yahan meri ladai ho rahi hai!!" He shouted at his brother who gave him a look.

''Oh please!  Main tere liye hi bol raha tha apne liye nahi. Khud court se wapas aate waqt rona ro raha tha aur girlfriend ke aate hi bheegi billi ban gaya, huhh!! Tum logon ke mamle mei ladna hi bekar hai, ye toh paagal hai hi aur tu bhi kuch kam nahi Vineet par haan aab tum dono ke bich bol ke main toh paagal nahi banna chahta. Chalo Shagun, let's not waste our time here.'' Ashok confronts him and takes his leave with Shagun.

Vineet turns to Anamika who was sitting beside crossing her arms around her chest with a grumpy face.

''Yar wo sach mei jhooth bol raha tha, mera koi affair nahi tha pehle. Ana, you are my first and last. Tumhari kasam!!" He tried to prove his point, and she slapped his arm.

''Hai meri kasam maat kha, agar tum jhooth bol rahe ho toh main toh easily chali jaungi fir tum kissi ko bhi utha lage. No!! Aisa bilkul nahi hoga!! Apne machalte mood ki kasam khao ki agar jo tumhara pehle affair tha toh kabhi tumhare zehen mei romance ki baat tak na aaye!!" She demanded, he stared at her with horror. Okay, he never had any relationship before but isn't she asking weird things from him? Still, just to satisfy her he did as she pleased.

It was at the same time, the servant came with food for her. He places the plate on the table and takes his leave.

Anamika lifts a plate and starts eating, now that she got food she would concentrate on that first and resume the fight later. He stares at her for a few moments and asks her to feed him as well because he's hungry.

She first narrowed her eyes and got him a few spoons and later refused to share saying it was for her and he can have his lunch he wants to, Vineet made a face and took out a chocolate bar from his pocket. He tore the cover, Anamika watched him and demanded, he denied and ran to his room with her following him. She shouted his name but he didn't stop until he entered his room.

He holds the chocolate in his hand and calls for her, she glares at him but heads forward. He forwarded the chocolate to her when she tried to hold it he pulled it back. She glared at him and turned to go. He held her hand and pulls her such that she crashes to him, he places the bar between his teeth and moves his face closer to her while holding her firmly close to him.

She placed her hand on his chest to stop him,''you sure na Vineet, you never kissed any other girl before me?" She questions staring at his gaze and lips from time to time.

Vineet shifted her hand a little, placing it on his heart.

''Tum khud jaan lo, shayad ye toh jhooth nahi hi bolenge tumse kyunki isse pyar karna bhi toh tumne hi sikhaya hai!!" He exclaims, she stares at him for moments feeling the rhythm of his heart and unhesitatingly submit herself.

She closes her eyes and touches his lips with her, the chocolate bar melts between their lips as they share the sweetness of the chocolate and their love together.

As life will never always serve you with a guy like Shri Ram, sometimes you get someone who's not a person of anyone's choice or consideration but they can change when they get love and affection. Vineet was one such person who only sees money and profit, nothing other than that. But even since his path came across with Anamika, the guy changed. Ever since they meet, they fight but she manages to bring the good person out of him which he has turned to must extend but his brother and some friend has always pulled him back, trying to make him what he was and she can't stand that. Just to make sure he doesn't return to where she started, she would get angry which is also her problem and sometimes she would just hold him close.

And she knows, the guy won't be like before at any cost. He truly loves her and can't see tears in her eyes, her happiness mattered to him more than any business deal! And that's were she know, she have got him for forever, none can snatch him from her. His heart beats for her and her heart belongs to him only!
