Author's Notes: Like I said earlier don't expect updates too frequently I want to write this story at my own pace to keep the story of higher quality, I try to keep characters in character though I may have failed to certain degree with Pearl in this, but I feel she is very motherly not unlike Garnet who many adore for motherly ways, so I thought why not make our worrisome Pearl a little more caring like I said I can't be sure if this would be out of character or not, I'll leave that up to you.

The great ethereal canvas that is the night sky was veiled by the rising sun, the stars disappeared once more and how jubilant humanity must be to rebehold the stars every night, alone on the beach stood a young child pacing back and forth as he spoke on his phone, a tired child could be heard groggily yelling "Steven! Do even know what time it is?!" Steven's face lit up happily "Connie, I'm so happy you picked up!" He spoke clearly happy, Connie could be heard sighing on the other end "Please tell me you woke me up for a important reason?" Connie said clearly aggravated Steven was a little taken aback by this, yet continued on "Do you remember that dream I had about Lapis and Jasper that I told you about?" Steven asked inquisitively hoping for a response "I remember..." Connie said tiredly as a yawn was heard through the phone "I had another weird dream last night, I was wondering if I could come over... later?" Steven asked his voice filled with regret, another sigh could be heard from Connie "Just give me a few more hours..." Connie said tiredly sounding like she was dosing off "Sorry for waking you..." Steven mumbled quietly into his phone before ending the call "Steven!" a shrill voice yelled out, hearing his name called out Steven turned around to see Pearl on the deck, eyes scanning the beach before landing on him "Steven, get in here before you freeze!" Pearl yelled again before Steven could shoot back and say "It's not that cold out!" a particularly heavy breeze froze him to the spot causing him to shiver heavily without a single word he ran back into the house, Steven shivered heavily once he got in the door and jumped when he felt a coat drape around his shoulders, looking back he saw Pearl looking at him worried "Steven...We don't need you to get sick again, please take a coat the next time you go out." Pearl said in a caring tone "Sorry." Steven said clearly ashamed "I thought you would have fallen back asleep by now, it wasn't that dream was it?" Pearl stated clearly worried wrapping her arms around him and pulling him into a hug "No, it wasn't that I'm just not tired anymore..." Steven said putting aside Pearl's worry "Okay." Pearl said before releasing him and sauntering ahead of him looking back "Would you like me to cook breakfast?" Pearl asked a small smile spreading across her face in anticipation and just as expected Steven's face lit up, a small chuckle left Pearl's lips before she made her way to the kitchen, Steven took his seat at the counter "So what will it be today?" Pearl asked leaning her elbow down on the counter looking at Steven with a bemused grin, meanwhile Steven's thoughts we're bombarded with tons of ideas for a delicious breakfast.
