We stayed at our little camp out till about noon the next morning. When It was time to set off again, Wolf wanted to fly, but neither of us wanted to carry Laeraen, so we decided to walk. We stayed in the light, so I'd have my powers at full strength, should I need them .

Since my mother was Aszianna, the goddess of light, my powers I inherited from her were based of the fixtures of light. If I ever was without light for more then an hour or two, I would get very sick, with the small, but real, chance of death. Light is a very serious thing for me. And for my brother, because he cares about me.

However I am the daughter of light, Wolf is the son of Hated, god of darkness. We are both demigods of two different immortal parents. Laeraen is obviously a son of Shenflur, the god of craftsmanship. He had such an amazing talent with inventing works of art.

I really respected what he could accomplish. I stretched, and announced that I was ready for a nap. I found a nice sunny spot, and lied there, drifting into my thoughts.

............................

I woke up to being shaken awake. I was bouncing up and down on somebody's shoulder. I screamed, and my carrier let out a sigh of relief. I recognized the voice. "WOLF? WHAT? WHY ARE WE RUNNING?"
