JULES HENDERSON. You may have heard of her before, but I doubt that. She was just a normal girl in high school. She got good grades. Never missed class. There was nothing she could do wrong. She was a good kid. So it really never made sense on how she used to be friends with popular kid, Ty Hopper.

Now, onto Ty. There's not really much to tell about him. He's popular. He never lets anyone go over to his house. So what? He's a really secretive person. And I mean, do you blame him? High Schoolers will look for anything that makes you look imperfect, and Ty wasn't risking that.

They went their separate ways beginning Hawkins High School. And that was because of...well, you'll figure it out soon enough. All you need to know is that She Messed Up.

JULES SAT in the Wheeler's basement, watching her little brother and his friends play Dungeons & Dragons. She really had nothing to do that night. And not many friends. Her last resort was to watch her brother.

"Hey Dust? Ha. Dust." Jules laughed, looking up at the ceiling. Dustin Henderson glanced at the older girl, raising his eyebrow.

"Yeah?" When he got no response he rolled his eyes. "Thanks for the response."

"Sorry. My eyes are closing here." She spoke abruptly. "How do you even play this game?" She asked with a puzzled look on her face.

"It's very complex." Lucas Sinclair answered. Everyone knew that he had the biggest crush ever on the girl. "I think it's all about focus. One wrong move and...well, I think you understand where that was going." Jules nodded slowly.

Time had passed and the game was apparently, according to the young teenagers, getting intense. Jules moved from her position on the couch to the ground. There wasn't really much to do in the 80s. Unless you're fighting monsters but that all just fantasy.

The group boys all rushed out of their chairs, on a search for the dice. Dustin stepped on Jules' back momentarily, a small grunt coming from the older girl.

"Ow." She rubbed her back, squinting her left eye slightly.

Mrs. Wheeler came to tell the boys they had to leave soon. They all began to protest. Jules got off the ground.

"Ready to go home?" She asked Dustin.

"No." He spoke quickly. Jules smiled.

"Great. You taking your bike since you left it here?" She asked. It was often for him to take his bike home. Plus he just wanted to talk to his friends more.

"Yeah. If that's okay?" He asked. Jules nodded softly.

"Of course it is."

Maybe if she hadn't let the boys ride home alone, then William Byers wouldn't have gone missing. And that would haunt her for the rest of her life.

TY WOKE up to his father being wasted once again. He sighed quietly. Not again. He thought. He needs to control his drinking. He shook his head, getting rid of his thoughts.

Jim jolted awake to the sound of a dog barking. Ty stared at him blankly. No expression evident on his face.

"Morning." Ty stared at him for a little longer, looking away briefly to scan the room. "Did you take my deodorant again?"

"Yeah, sorry." Jim apologized, going outside to smoke. Ty sighed. His father had been like this ever since Sarah. And it was tough to handle.

"No; 'Make good choices. Don't do drugs. It'll ruin your life!'" Ty mumbled quietly. He opened the door to his trailer, revealing nature. He stepped out of the home, shutting the door behind him and going to his car.

"SORRY that I'm late." Ty rushed into class in a hurry. His hair a little messed up. But that was just bed head.

"What? Did you run a mile or something?" Tommy joked, causing the Hopper boy to roll his eyes.

Tommy. Everyone hated him. Even Ty. Not that he would say that to his face, of course. But he just didn't know when to shut up. And Ty didn't like that. He was taught to respect others and talk only when spoken to. Clearly Tommy didn't learn the same.

"Had to go to the store." Ty explained briefly. Tommy raised an eyebrow.

"Again?" He questioned.

"Again." Ty nodded.

"I'M HOME." Jules announced, kicking off her shoes. She glanced at her mother.

"Oh. Welcome home. I'm glad you made it home safely." Her mom smiled. Jules nodded, squinting her eyes and nodding.

"Yeah. Me...too?"

"Hey, Jules!" Dustin yelled from his room.

"What?" Jules responded in a yell.

"Come here!" He said. Jules let out a huff of air.

"Yes my wonderful brother?" She said sarcastically when she reached him.

"Will's missing." Dustin said quickly. Jules scanned her younger brother's face. What?

"Oh, shit. Like, for real?" She said once she realized he wasn't joking.

"Yes!"

"You shouldn't be leaving this house then. I don't want you to go missing." The Older Henderson whispered, backing out of the room slowly.

"Alright, fine!" Dustin sighed.

Jules went to her room and ran straight to the phone. She was trying to contact Will's brother, Jonathan Byers. No answer.

Well, Dustin, being the curious 12 year old he was, went out with his friends into the woods. On the hunt for their best friend. The other Henderson's having no idea.
