JULES HENDERSON sat at her desk with tears in her eyes. How could she be so stupid? To her own best friend? Maybe he doesn't know. Jules thought with a sigh. Who am I kidding? He definitely knows. She groaned, knocking her head on the table several times.

"Jules?" Her little brother, Dustin, asked. "You okay in there?" He crossed his feet awkwardly.

"Oh yeah." Jules spoke loudly. "I'm doing just fine." She tucked her hair behind her ear.

"Um, well, dinners ready." He spoke after a few moments of silence.

"I'll be right there." She sighed, hearing the little boy's feet rush away.

Jules was adopted by the Henderson's when she was younger. Her mother had died and her father went into a rabbit hole of depression, which caused him to be unfit to take care of the girl properly. She missed her father a lot. But the Henderson's were perfect for her.

Ty Hopper. The son of the Chief of Police at Hawkins. They didn't look alike. No, Ty looked a little more like his mother. He hasn't seen his mother in a long time. You see, his parents separated when he was young, and it was heartbreaking for him. He loved having a mother and father to go to the playground with. And even a little sister! That all changed when Sarah got cancer.

"You alright there Ty?" Jim Hopper asked his son. He was still getting used to being a parent. Even after years of being one.

"Yeah. It's just...why would Jules do that?" Ty wiped away his fallen tears with a sniffle.

"Sometimes, peer pressure gets the best of us." Jim let out a deep breath. Ty nodded.

"Yeah." He agreed. "Can we go to the store? I'm kind of hungry."

"Of course. Come on. I'll race you!" Jim started to run out of the trailer, Ty not far behind. "I forgot my keys."
