Shiva woke up to the sound of rain against the window, he groaned loudly as he woke up, he hated rainy days with a passion, they were plain annoying, they forced him to stay home all day, considering how it usually poured with a vengeance in Somnath whenever it did, he looked out the window and scowled at the glum sky, he was sure he wouldn't be able to meet Raavi today, there was no way in hell that her Maasi would even let her out, she would most likely be screaming about how delicate and fragile her daughter was, the worst part was the fact that he agreed with his Maami on this one, he didn't want her falling sick at all, especially not during the time when the viral fever was rampant among everyone in Somnath, his Bunny did not have an immune system, it did not work. She would fall sick at the slightest of things, he didn't want to disrupt her heath in any manner.

Sighing to himself he got up to get work done and cook himself something, the entire family was out, leaving Shiva alone at home, he was looking forward to being able to spend some alone time with Raavi, the family ever let him monopolise her time, he would have down that if he could, but damn his family. He couldn't even curse them, everyone wanted to be around Raavi, her happiness was contagious, she made everyone feel at ease, his usually rude mother was also very tender with Raavi and it warmed his heart to see his bunny share such a close relationship with his mother. Pulling himself out of thoughts of her he got to work and within no time managed to wrap everything up, he could at least have a lazy weekend he thought with some glee. The gloom of the day finally caught up to Shiva and he fell asleep to the sound of the pitter-patter of the rain drops, the chilly environment perfect for him.

Shiva woke to the sensation of soft lips pressing all over his face, confusing it to be his dream he tried drifting back to sleep, when he heard her call out to him.

"Shiv"

She spoke softly, her hand cupping his face and gently stroking his cheek in order to wake him up, he smiled wide as he realised Raavi was really here, she looked at his smile and kissed him full on the mouth, his arms wound around her and he pulled her on top of him, she straddled him readily, enjoying the warmth his bare chest radiated, they kept kissing until they couldn't anymore and Raavi hugged him tight, settling over him, Shiva kept his eyes closed, exhilarated at her presence.

"Bunny"

"Hmmm"

"Kaise aagayi?"

"MausaPa ko problem nahi tha, toh unhone Maasi ko distract kiya and I snuck out with my clothes"

"Staying the weekend"

"Yes, but I want your shirts"

"Whatever you want"

And they fell asleep once again, this time cuddling and basking in each others warmth.

Shiva woke up again a while later, Raavi was still nestled against him and peacefully asleep, she looked so adorable sleeping peacefully nestled against him, her warmth was tempting him to lay there, but he knew she would wake up hungry, disentangling himself from her he got up and made his way to the kitchen deciding to get started on dinner.

He had just finished with dinner and it had gotten darker, the grey skies casting a ominous shadow through the kitchen he was about to switch on the lights when Raavi had walked into the kitchen and hugged him from the back, pressing a soft kiss onto the middle of his back, he shuddered slightly at the feel of her plump lips against his naked skin, he turned around hugged her to himself, pressing a soft kiss onto her hair.

They broke apart after a while and Shiva finally took in the sight of her face, her beautiful face, her ivory skin seemed to glow in the gloom and her eyes looked brighter, cheeks flushed slightly due to the chill and her lips an inviting rosy colour, she stood out today, glowing bright even in the dim environment, as he took in the sight of her glowing and smiling at him, Shiva realised her perhaps liked gloomy grey skies too, his Bunny sparked brighter than ever, like the silver lining to the grey clouds. Grey was not that bad after all, he decided as he grabbed her by her waist, smiling as she giggled in joy.

Do not curse the grey skies, for clear skies do not have silver linings
